Daily Update w. Harley Schlanger April 16th – U.S. Must Choose Sovereign Republic or Enforcer of Empire

The promise of normalization of relations with Russia is not just the ending of the devastating war in Ukraine, but the opening of a new era of economic cooperation. Trump and Putin are economic nationalists and believers in agreements reached between sovereign nations. Unfortunately, there are mixed signals, including former Soros operative and present U.S. Treasury Secretary Bessent embracing the corporatist plan to dismantle Argentina being pursued by its President Milei; and VP Vance speaking of Trump's love for the United Kingdom, even as its Prime Minister is leading the coalition in Europe to sink Trump's agenda of peace and cooperation with Russia.
