84. What Do Bookkeeping Clients Struggle With & How Can You Help?

This episode is something I’ve been promising to share for about a year - and now, I’m delivering! I combed through three years of bookkeeping client lead forms and compiled 141 responses to share with you. These responses are around what stresses clients out about the current state of their books and how they’d feel if they knew they were in order.

Let me tell you - the answers to these questions are powerful. I find them to be really empowering as a bookkeeper, and even humbling to remind me of the value of what we do. I read them all, and I feel confident you’ll have the same reaction.

Here’s are the two questions I read the responses to:

• Question 1: What stresses you out most about the current state of your books?
• Question 2: How would you feel if your books were handled and under control?

I hope that this episode opens your eyes to the profound power we have as bookkeepers. We tend to undervalue our services, but people have a lot of emotion and fear surrounding their finances. We can free them from so many worries, stresses, and fears - and that’s an amazing thing.
