Joel Oliver's story of perseverance was having an open heart surgery at 28 years old. That was 6 years ago now. It was, of course, scary in some ways but there was no choice except to just move forward. So he had it and came out fine. There were some life adjustments and changes but it's just normal life for him now, He can live well and get on with things.
