Dr. Michael Stierstorfer, Clinical Associate Professor of Dermatology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and founder of East Penn Dermatology, has led efforts to teach clinicians about Type IV allergies as potential causes for common gastrointestinal diseases such as IBS, coining the term "allergic contact enteritis."
