Overview: Join pulmonologist Dr. Matthew Drake as he discusses the current 2020 GOLD guidelines for treatment of COPD. Using patient case examples, he will outline how to assess patients with COPD to determine the most appropriate evidence-based treatment. Discussion will include which patients will benefit most from inhaled corticosteroids and when to consider triple inhaled therapy with combination of long-acting beta-2-agonist, long acting muscarinic antagonist and inhaled corticosteroids.
