Overnight, Sony has announced the long-awaited release date and editions for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. It’s releasing on June 11th exclusively for PS5. Marcus Smith, Creative Director at Insomniac took to Playstation Blog to reassure fans that the game is coming along nicely to be the “showpiece game” for your Playstation 5. It’s been suspected ever since the game was announced but Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is coming to Nintendo Switch on March 12th. The game is also coming to PS5/Xbox Series X with free upgrades for those already own the game on PS4/Xbox One. The game will support 4K/60FPS on next-gen consoles and will also release on March 12th. Much like they did last year, PlayStation has launched the 2020 Wrap-Up which will tell you your most played games as well as how many hours you sunk into your PS4 and PS5 in 2020. Sony has confirmed that PS5 exclusive Returnal will now release on April 30th, 2021 instead of its original March 19th release date. Sony has revealed February’s free PlayStation Plus games and it’s one of the best months in a while. We already knew that we’d get getting Destruction All-Stars, but we’re also getting Control Ultimate Edition which will get its next-gen patch in February and includes all of the DLC released so far. Microsoft announced February's Xbox Games with Gold over the weekend. In February you'll be able to get your hands on Gears 5, Resident Evil, Dandara: Trials of Fear Edition, Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb and Lost Planet 2. It was a whirlwind weekend for Xbox Live Gold. Capcom took to their Resident Evil livestream this morning to announce that Resident Evil Village will release on May 7th for all current gen and next-gen PlayStation and Xbox consoles. Despite the fact that the game was initially only announced for PS5 and Xbox Series X, it’s ben confirmed that the game will be coming to Xbox One and PS4 on the same date. EA has lifted the lift off of season 8 of Apex Legends. The game's 16th legend is called Fuse and he's all about explosives. When Season 8 launches on February 2nd, it'll bring with it a new weapon called the 30-30 Repeater, a futurized level-action rifle and a new 100 tier battle pass.
