Episode description

Oftentimes, we know that the wages and salaries for child care teachers can be very meager. When the teacher cleans up his/ her classroom for the day and finished preparing the lesson plans and waving goodbye to the children. Does it ever cross our minds if they have a home to go to after pouring into little learners? Is there something we can do to support these teachers living in homeless shelters, transitional housing, or the threat of possibly being homeless? Besides writing Congress for the push for more livable wages, what initiatives can we start right from our centers? Let's band together and do something now!
