Pro 26:1 Like snow in summer and like rain in harvest, So honor is not fitting for a fool.
Pro 25:16 Have you found honey? Eat only what you need, That you not have it in excess and vomit it.
Pro 25:28 Like a city that is broken into and without walls Is a man who has no control over his spirit.
Pro 25:19 Like a bad tooth and an unsteady foot Is confidence in a faithless man in time of trouble.
Pro 29:23 A man's pride will bring him low, But a humble spirit will obtain honor.
Psa 9:1 For the choir director: A psalm of David, to be sung to the tune “Death of the Son.” I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things you have done. Psa 9:2 I will be filled with joy because of you. I will sing praises to your name, O Most High.
Psa 8:5 Yet you made them only a little lower than God and crowned them with glory and honor. Psa 8:6 You gave them charge of everything you made, putting all things under their authority— Psa 8:7 the flocks and the herds and all the wild animals, Psa 8:8 the birds in the sky, the fish in the sea, and everything that swims the ocean currents. Psa 8:9 O LORD, our Lord, your majestic name fills the earth!...
Psa 8:2 You have taught children and infants to tell of your strength, silencing your enemies and all who oppose you.
Psa 8:1 For the choir director: A psalm of David, to be accompanied by a stringed instrument. O LORD, our Lord, your majestic name fills the earth! Your glory is higher than the heavens.
Psa 7:14 The wicked conceive evil; they are pregnant with trouble and give birth to lies. Psa 7:15 They dig a deep pit to trap others, then fall into it themselves. Psa 7:16 The trouble they make for others backfires on them. The violence they plan falls on their own heads.
Psa 7:17 I will thank the LORD because he is just; I will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High.
Psa 7:14 Behold, he travails with wickedness, And he conceives mischief and brings forth falsehood. Psa 7:15 He has dug a pit and hollowed it out, And has fallen into the hole which he made. Psa 7:16 His mischief will return upon his own head, And his violence will descend upon his own pate.
Psa 7:11 God is an honest judge. He is angry with the wicked every day.
Psa 7:10 My shield is with God, who saves the upright in heart.
Psa 7:9 End the evil of those who are wicked, and defend the righteous. For you look deep within the mind and heart, O righteous God.
Psa 6:6 I am weary with my sighing; Every night I make my bed swim, I dissolve my couch with my tears. Psa 6:7 My eye has wasted away with grief; It has become old because of all my adversaries. Psa 6:8 Depart from me, all you who do iniquity, For the LORD has heard the voice of my weeping. Psa 6:9 The LORD has heard my supplication, The LORD receives my prayer. Psa 6:10 All my enemies will be ashamed and greatly dismayed; They shall turn back, they will suddenly be ashamed....
Psa 5:9 There is nothing reliable in what they say; Their inward part is destruction itself. Their throat is an open grave; They flatter with their tongue.
Psa 4:1 For the choir director; on stringed instruments. A Psalm of David. Answer me when I call, O God of my righteousness! You have relieved me in my distress; Be gracious to me and hear my prayer. Psa 4:2 O sons of men, how long will my honor become a reproach? How long will you love what is worthless and aim at deception? Selah. Psa 4:3 But know that the LORD has set apart the godly man for Himself; The LORD hears when I call to Him....
Psa 3:6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people Who have set themselves against me round about. Psa 3:7 Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God! For You have smitten all my enemies on the cheek; You have shattered the teeth of the wicked. Psa 3:8 Salvation belongs to the LORD; Your blessing be upon Your people! Selah.
Psa 3:1 A Psalm of David, when he fled from Absalom his son. O LORD, how my adversaries have increased! Many are rising up against me. Psa 3:2 Many are saying of my soul, "There is no deliverance for him in God." Selah. Psa 3:3 But You, O LORD, are a shield about me, My glory, and the One who lifts my head. Psa 3:4 I was crying to the LORD with my voice, And He answered me from His holy mountain. Selah. Psa 3:5 I lay down and slept; I awoke, for the LORD sustains me....
Psa 2:10 Now therefore, O kings, show discernment; Take warning, O judges of the earth. Psa 2:11 Worship the LORD with reverence And rejoice with trembling. Psa 2:12 Do homage to the Son, that He not become angry, and you perish in the way, For His wrath may soon be kindled. How blessed are all who take refuge in Him!
Psa 2:8 'Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations as Your inheritance, And the very ends of the earth as Your possession. Psa 2:9 'You shall break them with a rod of iron, You shall shatter them like earthenware.'"
Psa 2:6 "But as for Me, I have installed My King Upon Zion, My holy mountain." Psa 2:7 "I will surely tell of the decree of the LORD: He said to Me, 'You are My Son, Today I have begotten You.
Psa 2:3 “Let us break their chains,” they cry, “and free ourselves from slavery to God.” Psa 2:4 But the one who rules in heaven laughs. The Lord scoffs at them. Psa 2:5 Then in anger he rebukes them, terrifying them with his fierce fury.
Psa 2:1 Why are the nations in an uproar And the peoples devising a vain thing?
