Psa 17:14 from men by your hand, O LORD, from men of the world whose portion is in this life. You fill their womb with treasure; they are satisfied with children, and they leave their abundance to their infants. Psa 17:15 As for me, I shall behold your face in righteousness; when I awake, I shall be satisfied with your likeness.
Psa 17:11 They have now surrounded us in our steps; They set their eyes to cast us down to the ground. Psa 17:12 He is like a lion that is eager to tear, And as a young lion lurking in hiding places. Psa 17:13 Arise, O LORD, confront him, bring him low; Deliver my soul from the wicked with Your sword,
Psa 17:10 They have closed their unfeeling heart, With their mouth they speak proudly.
Psa 17:9 Protect me from wicked people who attack me, from murderous enemies who surround me.

Psa 17:7 Wondrously show Your lovingkindness, O Savior of those who take refuge at Your right hand From those who rise up against them.
Psa 17:6 I call upon you, for you will answer me, O God; incline your ear to me; hear my words.
Psa 17:5 My steps have held fast to Your paths. My feet have not slipped.
Psa 17:4 I have followed your commands, which keep me from following cruel and evil people.
Psa 17:3 You have tested my thoughts and examined my heart in the night. You have scrutinized me and found nothing wrong. I am determined not to sin in what I say.
Psa 17:2 Declare me innocent, for you see those who do right.
Psa 17:1 A prayer of David. O LORD, hear my plea for justice. Listen to my cry for help. Pay attention to my prayer, for it comes from honest lips.

Psa 14:7 Oh, that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When the LORD restores His captive people, Jacob will rejoice, Israel will be glad.
Psa 14:6 The wicked frustrate the plans of the oppressed, but the LORD will protect his people.
Psa 14:4 Will those who do evil never learn? They eat up my people like bread and wouldn’t think of praying to the LORD. Psa 14:5 Terror will grip them, for God is with those who obey him.
Psa 14:2 The LORD has looked down from heaven upon the sons of men To see if there are any who understand, Who seek after God. Psa 14:3 They have all turned aside, together they have become corrupt; There is no one who does good, not even one.
Psa 14:1 For the choir director: A psalm of David. Only fools say in their hearts, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, and their actions are evil; not one of them does good!
Psa 13:3 Consider and answer me, O LORD my God; Enlighten my eyes, or I will sleep the sleep of death, Psa 13:4 And my enemy will say, "I have overcome him," And my adversaries will rejoice when I am shaken. Psa 13:5 But I have trusted in Your lovingkindness; My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation. Psa 13:6 I will sing to the LORD, Because He has dealt bountifully with me.
As David is dealing with his enemies, it would seem that they have the advantage and David is quite discouraged as we read in our Psalms today:
Psa 13:1 For the choir director. A Psalm of David. How long, O LORD? Will You forget me forever? How long will You hide Your face from me?
