We are in a series right now on emotional maturity where we are looking at four components that comprise emotional intelligence and one thing that makes what we are doing a bit unique is that we are attempting to do this while keeping our eyes on Jesus to see how Jesus embodied these things. So far we’ve talked about self-awareness, self-regulation, and social awareness. And today we are going to discuss the ins and outs of relational management.

Relational management refers to our ability to communicate clearly, maintain good relationships with others, connect with those from other cultures, work well in teams, and manage conflict. Relationship management is using your awareness of your own emotions and those of others to manage interactions successfully. It's a lifelong journey of learning and something that we never arrive at but the benefits to our relationships are so worth it.
