How's this for a novel idea: telling other Christians why you thank God for them. That's what Paul does to his friends in Philippi, and there's good reason to believe he wants us to do the same. In fact, this novel idea can change how we pray, and the way we encourage each other. It can also drive us to more Christlike behaviour, and to a richer, more God-centred, theology.
