Episode description

When it comes to social justice, I’ve noticed my impulse to jump into action, without also doing the inner work. I’ll quickly condemn oppression, express my support as anti-racist, talk to white friends about these issues, but not actively reflect on my role in the problem, because “of course I’m not racist.”

In this episode, I'll share some of the harder questions I’ve been asking myself -- ones that require more honesty, humility, and vulnerability. I’ve found that it’s one thing for me to be vocal about fighting against oppression, and it’s another thing for me to become intimate with my own subconscious conditioning. I hope it inspires you to ask your own hard questions, and stay present to this often difficult exploration.
