Lakefront Brewery has been around longer than Cameron or Jonathan have even been alive, opening their doors in 1987. Russ talks about their humble beginnings and their excitement when they sold their first barrel to the neighborhood tavern.
Since then they’ve gotten laws changed in order to introduce a Gluten Free beer, were the first brewery to be certified organic, introduced the first beer in the United States to be made from 100% in-state-grown ingredients, and they give a fantastic brewery tour equipped with Laverne & Shirley songs and improv comedy!
Lakefront has been an instrumental component to the Milwaukee beer scene for over three decades.
