Episode description

Inspired by an obnoxious "texter," Steve Head and John Black discuss what should be done to stop cell phone users during movies, and the protocol for booting these selfish, incosiderate jerks (particularly texters!) from a theater. We're at our wit's end. These people must go.Receiving the full film review treatment is Guilermo del Toro's Don't Be Afraid of the Dark and the comedy Our Idiot Brother, starring Paul Rudd. Also up for discussion is the new documentary Chasing Madoff, and the new home video releases: Akira Kurosawa's High & Low, Jodie Foster's The Beaver, the BBC's Top Gear 16, Blitz starring Jason Statham and Little Big Soldier starring Jackie Chan. And Steve (having experienced a 5-hour screening of Cleopatra during the Harvard Film Archive's Joseph L. Mankiewicz retrospective) and John (who's seen the film *6* times) reminice about Taylor & Burton's epic 1963 debacle.
