M. Night Shyamalan has made some pretty interesting films. Most are at the beginning of his career with a few at the end also. This one, sadly, isn't inline with his best, but certainly not his worst either. Josh Hartnett is absolutely wonderful as the unhinged Cooper. He makes the price of admission with it.
