Netflix CAN do something right now and again. The Pale Blue Eye is one of those things. A very literate and smart script headed up with Christian Bale and Harry Melling delivers what is a very exciting pre Civil War detective story with Edgar Allen Poe when he was a cadet at West Point. Harry Milling steals the show from Bale, which is damn impressive.
