I have been thinking about everything I’m grateful for. Tenho pensado em tudo pelo que sou grato. When I want to complain, I think about the suffering of others. Quando quero reclamar, penso no sofrimento dos outros. Then I remember that my life is actually very good. Então me lembro que minha vida é realmente muito boa. I have a lot to be thankful for. Eu tenho muito a agradecer. My family loves me, and I have many friends. Minha família me ama e tenho muitos amigos.

I know that when I’m feeling sad, I can reach out to a friend. Eu sei que quando estou triste, posso entrar em contato com um amigo. My friends always help me to put things into perspective. Meus amigos sempre me ajudam a colocar as coisas em perspectiva. Sometimes it helps to look at things from a different point of view. Às vezes ajuda ver as coisas de um ponto de vista diferente. Then we can see all the good there is in the world. Então poderemos ver tudo de bom que existe no mundo.

People are always trying to help each other. As pessoas estão sempre tentando ajudar umas às outras. Everyone is just doing their best. Todo mundo está apenas fazendo o seu melhor. When I think about my loved ones, I feel a sense of connection. Quando penso em meus entes queridos, sinto uma sensação de conexão. I'm connected to everyone in the whole world. Estou conectado com todos no mundo inteiro. No matter where we live, we are all the same. Não importa onde vivamos, somos todos iguais.

I’m grateful for the diversity of culture and language. Sou grato pela diversidade de cultura e idioma. But laughter sounds the same in every language. Mas o riso soa igual em todas as línguas. That’s how we know that we are all one human family. É assim que sabemos que somos todos uma família humana. We might be different on the outside, but inside we are all the same. Podemos ser diferentes por fora, mas por dentro somos todos iguais.
