A Holy Boldness
Peter was a fearless preacher of the Word of God. The result of his Christ centred preaching, brought him into conflict with the enemies of the truth, but the Lord gave His servant a holy boldness to preach the whole council of God.

The Lord Jesus is wonderful in so many ways, but those who heard Him preach He was wonderful in all that He said.
When entering the temple, Peter fixed his eyes on a lame man who was there. He told the lame man to look to Christ and be healed.

Sometimes the storms of life overwhelm us, when everything seems to be against us, all is dark around us. There is only one answer, look to the Lord and He will keep us from sinking beneath the waves of fear and anxiety.
To be a true follower or disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ, then a life that is fully surrendered to the Lord is demanded. Simon Peter was brought to that place of a full surrender to Christ.
It is a wonderful blessing to have Christ our homes. In times of trouble we can turn to Him for He is able to overcome whatever troubles come in to our homes.
There are times through life when everything seems to be against us. We often feel lonely and feel very much alone during such times. For the people of God, we will never be left alone to face our sorrows, our suffering alone, the Lord will hold our hand during such times, so that we will never walk alone.
The Lord instructs Hie people to shine for Him is a dark and wicked world, Since the Lord said His people are the light of the world, we are to shine brightly for Him.

When speaking to the Pharisees, the Lord pointed out to them what a true shepherd is. He made it clear to them that they were not true shepherds of God's flock. The Saviour then told them what a true shepherd should be, He then pointed to Himself. Christ is our true and precious Shepherd.

The Lord told the story about two kings planning on going to with each other. One of the kings realized that he would be better seeking peace. Sinners are at war with God and would better seeking peace through the blood of the cross.
All who know Christ as Saviour and called to be His servants. It is our responsibility to be faithful servants, to live for Christ and not ourselves.
Before Peter became a disciple and apostle,, he had to brought to Christ a nd be converted. The instrument the Lord used for the purpose was his brother Andrew, he was the soul winner.
When the Lord calls us to follow Him, He calls for complete surrender. Complete surrender means that we will Him whethersoever He goeth.
