Artist Bio: As the soil of Virginia continues to supply growth to this area’s hip hop music circuit, rising from those roots is Brix, a fresh face to Virginia’s music scene. He brings a list of talents but most noticeable is his unique style, clever lyrical content and catchy hooks. With his early buzz circling his debut mixtape, the “Brixtape”, he is soon to be a power player and become a household name. Born in Brooklyn, New York in the neighborhood of Brownsville, Robert “Brix” Glover says that, “it is the worst neighborhood in Brooklyn.” Brix is the eldest son of his mother’s children. Witnessing his mother being abused by his stepfather throughout his childhood, Brix did his best to be a better role model for his younger brother and sister.
