Jesus calls us to something deeper: to become peacemakers who bring resolution, not just winners of arguments. Drawing on Matthew 5:9, we explore what it means to pursue true peace and why it’s essential to live out our faith through reconciliation, even in today’s polarized world. This message dives into the powerful story of Onesimus and Philemon and how peacemaking transformed a broken relationship. We’ll unpack the dangers of neglecting peace—from strained relationships to missed spiritual o...
We kicked off our new series, “Stop” , with a deep dive into the topic: “Stop Reacting, Start Reflecting.”
We are continuing our sermon series titled “Enough,” focusing on how God provides when we feel like we’re not enough. This week, we’ll discuss the common struggle of feeling inadequate or lacking in strength, ability, or resources. We’ll explore the story of Paul in Philippians 4:11-13, where he teaches that true contentment comes not from our circumstances, but through relying on Christ’s strength. We’ll also look at Moses’ story and remind ourselves of God’s love in 1 John 3:1, which affirms o...
This week we discussed how great leaders choose integrity!
We discuss how true leadership goes beyond just completing tasks—it's about genuinely loving and investing in others. Simply "checking the boxes" isn't enough if we're not also spending meaningful time with those we care about. Through passages from Exodus 20, Matthew 22, and 1 Corinthians 13, we'll see how Jesus and others in scripture demonstrated leadership by prioritizing love above all else. We encourage our students to focus on what God says matters most: loving Him, loving others, and sha...
David prayed, "Search me, oh God." He wanted to invite God in to show Him where he was missing the mark and allow God to lead in those areas.
Great leaders follow through. We want to be a person worth following. In order to do that we have to follow the One who is worth following in Jesus.
The early church made dangerous prayers and God showed up. Peter and John prayer for God to make them bold to preach the gospel even when they were facing persecution.
On Sunday we talked about becoming like Jesus is becoming a person of love. You can't become like Jesus without Jesus.
In this series, we are discussing the process of being in an intimate relationship with Jesus and following Him in our daily life.
This week we discussed the importance of being in community and how we must choose to be in it!
This week we discussed the importance of having an intimate relationship with Jesus and consistently being in conversation with Him!
Internalizing scripture transforms our lives! God gave us His word and it's powerful!
We kicked off a new sermon series talking about spiritual disciplines. Spiritual disciplines are not something we have to do but something we have the opportunity to do.
If Satan can't make you sin, he'll make you busy! When we live hurried lives we can often miss what's most important. God has created us to rest and delight in Him and get rid of distractions.
God has given us what we need but Satan often attacks us with the idea that we need more than we have. Adam and Eve had all they needed but Satan was able to deceive them to make them think they needed something they didn't truly need.
Satan is always going to attack. We must be on guard because he always seems to attack after we've been on the mountaintop. Even in the valley we can be confident in God, no matter what's next.
On Sunday we discussed how we can't be perfect. We always believe the lie from Satan where he says we must be perfect all the time. But Jesus, who is perfect, offers us grace when we fail.
We finished our series talking about how Jesus sends out the twelve. He sends us out boldly!
This week we looked at the lie, "You have no purpose" and discussed what God says about us. He gives us all a purpose because He created us all to be unique.
We don't have to do this alone. God has given us all a voice and He wants us to do it together.
