Well, I started as a hangover on Friday. has now resulted in an urgent care visit today because it hasn't ended and it's only gone worse and I've tried to eat more normal foods. I mean, do I need to say it for the amount of people who are not watching this? And I did have a little to say it for... Okay. Yeah. So anyway, I am now on aerobics and working through that. I do want to just briefly talk about how lovely our Mother's Day was. We had a wonderful Mother's Day. It was so nice because our own mother was there, was present. It took me a while since we've spent Mother's Day a lot of things. Yeah, and so they went on a cruise right after a wedding and then they came back. because they're both like from brooklyn harbour
I don't see cruise ships. I don't know if they leave from here. I don't know if they come down this river. I'm fine. But they definitely, I think they need to depart out of New York. Why is there something not on the water too? They went on a cruise and then they came back and they're here in town for another day. It was so nice. And I looked at Meg's cord, and she had demurely mild life. And it was a clean, like, the rind was clean, or the cob was creached. I feel like it was a clean, it was like... like eating corn at the Indian Palace. 100% and I was eating corn at the county fair. Okay. I think I saw you eating your corn and you were like hunched over it. Thank God. I was so starving that day.
anyway i just realized i'm like this is mortifying this woman's never gonna become cool again all my chances of being friends are gone and yeah that was like that was it was just it was just a moment of shame What else is happening this week? I mean, really, it's just a lot of slumber stuff to get into. I'm just happy to be doing a normal Paul Apologies episode hitting the hot topic. I will say, one disclaimer, everyone. In response, Swift's spokesperson issued the following statement. And I think this statement is... crazy and it says everything and i've been very like excited to discuss like after you
Tara Swift never set foot on the side of this movie. She was not involved in any casting or creative decisions. She did not score the film. She never saw an edit or made any notes on the film. She did not even see It Ends With Us until weeks after its public arena. and was traveling around the globe during 2023 and 2024, headlining the biggest tour in history.
Given that her involvement was licensing a song for film, which 19 other artists also did, this document subpoena is designed to use Taylor Swift's name to draw public interest by creating tabloid clipbait instead of focusing on facts like a case. I just think the fact that they're going this hard and saying that she really was not a part of this and that she didn't care.
