From 1979-1984 St. John Paul II delivered 129 papal audiences outlining a theology of the body (TOB). Why do we have bodies? What is the body for? What does the body mean?

To understand the nature of marriage and sexuality, we must rediscover the dignity of the human body by which we can know the dignity of the human person.

Due to the relevance of this teaching to our culture, I'm setting out to do this series to explain St. John Paul II's teaching on theology of the body. I'm joined by my friend Michaela Barta to uncover this gold mine. She has gone to the TOB Institute three times and teaches this topic to youth and young adults. Join us for TOB!
