Episode description

Hours after state lawmakers sent the newly approved GOP-favored district maps to Governor Brian Kemp's desk for signature, 6th District Congresswoman Lucy McBath proclaimed that she "refuses to stand down" and announced a run for the newly created Democratic District 7. McBath vows to fight Republicans every step of the way.

In addition, a new GOP poll suggests Governor Brian Kemp would be in trouble in a Republican primary should former Senator David Perdue decide to run. When pollsters presented Perdue as a candidate endorsed by former President Donald Trump, he jumped ahead of Kemp 41-to-34 percent.
