Episode description

This episode, I'm joined by "Ravi", he’s an Indian immigrant to the US, an atheist familiar with the horrendous directions online movement atheism has taken, and someone generally in the know about the western alt/far-right - All of which puts him in a good position to comment on, compare and contrast both far-right movements and how they’re rooted in extreme anti muslim sentiment. He did not want to be tagged or identified for this episode, because understandably, most people do not want to deal with nationalists and far-right trolls in their social media mentions.Join us for an informative conversation on religious identities in South Asia, origins of Hindu Nationalism, beef-eating and 'purity', the Taj Mahal, tokenism and much more!**(Apologies for any weird background sounds you might hear, like jingling and ticking. There was something up with Ravi's mic, but we didn't have time to reschedule unfortunately and we couldn't fully resolve the issue either. However, I think most of the recording is fine, just the occasional jingling )**----If you enjoy the show pls help it survive and thrive by supporting it via https://www.patreon.com/nicemangos
