President-elect Donald Trump is set to be sworn into the White House again. The Swearing-In Ceremony is slated to start at 12 p.m. The Trump Vance Inaugural Committee released the timeline of key events related to Trump’s inauguration.
The 60th Presidential Inauguration is scheduled for Monday, Jan. 20. Monday is also Martin Luther King Jr. Day, a federal holiday.
All inaugural activities will commence on the West Lawn of the United States Capitol, including the inaugural swearing-in ceremony of Vice President-elect J.D. Vance and President-elect Donald Trump taking the Oaths of Office, followed by an inaugural address.

Donald Trump has been inaugurated back into office, and in his speech shortly after his inauguration, he announced his intentions to and how he is going to make America great again. That he is going to take back the Panama Canal because of course China controls it, and that he is going to put troops along the Mexican border to protect the United States from Mexico. He is enacting a policy

to keep Mexico in Mexico. That he is going to round up and deport all of the criminals that have come across the border illegally, and he is going to do other other things that may see may seem small but actually translate into bigger intentions, such as saying that there are only two genders in the in the US

now only male and female. Then that can translate into the loss of trans rights lgbt Q rights that have been long fought for, and we've already seen how the Republicans using the Supreme Court overturned roversus weighed thus and thus so uh, limiting the rights of women to healthcare, and then then of course also confusing the issues by saying that it was solely about abortion when Roe versus

Weight had very little to do with abortion. There are other things that he has gone after that, in things that he is going to create, such as the External Revenue Service, which is going to collect the terrriffs and the taxes that are supposed to be placed on important goods into the United States. That he is going to overturn green policies so that he can drove oil. He

said it himself, We're going to drill, baby, drill. That he is going to put an end to some of the federal programs that were put in place for electric cars. He's going to put an end to them so that we all can drive the car of our choice. Well, some things aren't seemingly so bad being able to choose. Hey, do I want a gas car, Do I want a hybrid car? Or do I want an electric car? They seemingly aren't so bad. It is it is what lies

beyond that. What is the next thing that he is going to take apart such as he is going to take a part of the public healthcare system, which those outside the US they see that there is that there isn't any central government controlled healthcare system. But if you ever have, for instance, a sick baby from the time of birth, that there is a program and there are social workers to help you pay millions of dollars in healthcare costs to hospitals and doctors so that you aren't

going to go broke. There are ways in in the US that the different systems that help help keep people healthy, and it's just you have to know, have to get involved with different social workers and things to be able

to find them. Here. There's a lot of things that he is threatening, a lot of things that he says he's going to do that on the surface seem very benigne and hey, well why not, right, and then until you look deeper into the policies at hand and discover more much deeper intentions that could cause oppression to people not only in the United States but around the world, such as how is he going to take the Panama Canal back? Such as how is he going to make a message to the in the Middle East? How is

he going to do that? How is he going to going to stop money going to protect farm borders and PU and how much is he going to spend on protecting a single US border between Mexico and the United States. There's a lot that is going to happen. How is the softwood industry in British Columbia, the oil and gas industry in Alberta going to be affected by his statements of drill baby drill and using only US resources for UH for future projects, and even the external revenue service

that will collect the tariffs. How is that going to affect everyone else around the United States. He is claiming he is going to make America rich again, that he is going to make the citizens of the United States the richest people on the planet. He is making these claims, but he also made a statement about the LA fires, saying that how things were mishandled and that there were people in the room, the rich people in the room who lost a house in the LA fires, the wildfires,

and how their homes should have been protected. What about the working class people who won't have insurance, they don't have bank accounts to rebuild. What is going to happen to their homes? What about them? It's the people that he isn't talking about in some of these statements that makes you wonder what his real intentions are. So you've already listened to some of the inauguration and you heard

it yesterday. We're going to play some of the highlights of that again Donald Trump's speeches and take a good listen to what he is saying, and maybe come try to decide for yourself what his intentions are and what it is that we should be looking out for, both the good and the bad. So why don't we move forward and we're going to listen to his acceptance speech for the inauguration for him to become the forty seventh President of the United States of America.

Good morning, everyone, Welcome to the sixtieth presidential inauguration. Today, President elect Trump and Vice President elect Vance will take their o's of office, and we will witness the peaceful transfer of power at the art of our democracy. For the past year, I've chaired the Inaugural Ceremony Committee, which includes the leadership of Congress from both parties. We thank the Committee and Capital staff and law enforcement who worked so hard over the last year and especially the last

three days. You've done a beautiful job, and you have shown grace under pressure. Our theme this year is our enduring democracy. The presidence of so many presidents and vice presidents here today is truly a testament to that endurance. We welcome President Biden and Doctor Biden. We welcome Vice President Harris and Doug Elmahoff, President Obama, President Clinton and Secretary Clinton, President Bush and Laura Bush, Vice President Pence,

Vice President Quail, and Maryland Quail. The Justices of the United States Supreme Court are with us, all nine of them I counted, and of course the Trump advance families. This ceremony marks what will soon be two hundred and fifty years of our democracy.

It is the moment when leaders.

Elevated by the will of the people, promise to be faithful to our constitution, to cherish and defend it. It is the moment when they become, as we all should be, the guardians of our country through war and peace, through

adversity and prosperity. We hold this inauguration every four years, and today it falls on Martin Luther King Day, a further reminder that we must strive to uphold the value enshrined in our Constitution, the freedoms, the liberties, and as is inscribed on the entrance of the United States Supreme Court, equal justice under law. But what makes this moment more than a passing ceremony is all who are watching it across the country, the people of this nation, the ordinary

people doing extraordinary things. President Kennedy, who at one point worked as a senator in this building and would often walk through this very rotunda, once said, in a democracy, every citizen, regardless of interest in politics, holds office. Every one of us is in a position of responsibility. With that responsibility of citizenship comes in obligation not to seek out malice, as President Lincoln once reminded us, but to view others with a generosity of spirit despite our differences.

With that responsibility of leadership comes an obligation to stand our ground when we must, and find common ground when we can. With everything swirling around us, the hot mess of division, it is on all of us, to quote an incredible songwriter who just happened to be born in my state, to ensure that our Nation's democracy is our shelter from the storm. There's a reason this ceremony takes place at the capitol.
