Episode description

With so much happening in the world, many have taken to social media to express their frustrations with the current state of their communities. Some people have targeted celebrities by calling out their silence regarding the SARS protests in Nigeria. Do celebrities have an obligation to speak on political issues? Why do people call out celebrities for staying silent on social issues? Does having a big platform make someone obligated to highlight, donate, or speak on certain issues? Why do we hold celebrities like Beyonce and Taylor Swift to standards we cant live up to ourselves? My friend Amanda (@amandaxalli) joins me to discuss! GO VOTE!
