Hello everyone, Welcome back to a new episode of the Poker Go Podcast Today. First, a first official WSP show. Does that like kind of count, It's like it's count. It's like, now we finished it, we'll listen. We finished AUSP prep week. The dubsip starts tomorrow. But this is like it's about the USP, but but it's about kind of inn adjacent thing attached to the WSP, and that is the twenty five K Fantasy Draft. Daniel Grons twenty five K Fantasy Draft. My name is Donnie Peters.

His name across the table from me is Tim Duckworthy. Are inside the Poker Growl Studio. We just wrapped up the draft. It is eleven forty five at night. Right off the bat. We haven't even seen a WSP tournament and we're already putting in the late hours. We're ready to go. I'm falling asleep. I'm not a just but we get to get out of here a little bit sooner this year because we had a new producer, Rich Ryan.

He's joining the show. Well he's joining the show from Afar. He's the editor, he's the producer, so we're gonna ship this off to him. He's gonna wake up. He's gonna hopefully get it up and publish it. We just wrapped up the twenty five k Fansy draft. As I said, twenty teams this year, a record twenty teams. The studio is packed. We had all these poker tables all over the players. We had two

three teams per table. Tim was doing the auctioneer duties up front, you know, the LED walls lit up with the Google doc that's tracking all of the different teams. There were five hundred people waiting in the YouTube stream waiting for it to start, like we've never we like normally you have people waiting, you know, but it's like seven five hundred. We're waiting before we even press play. That's crazy. A lot of people tuned in and watched

the stream. Stream numbers are very consistent overall. Um. Well, every time I checked in, they seemed to be holding pretty steady. So, you know, for all of you guys that tuned in and that watched, UM, I think you guys watched pretty much for the duration of the draft. UM, and we thank you very much for doing so. Apologies that you had to listen to my voice though, yeah, I mean your voice

is fine, little. The only thing that I have is I swear when you're doing my team, you like go a little bit longer with the one you know going on? We listen. I don't know. I don't know what the hell that one pick was. They were like like four seconds after you said sold to me for seven dollars, you were like, they were like, no, we were in here. I'm gonna get it for nine dollars. We got him for ten. But I was fine or nine or ten, But I was like, why do I what is happening here?

What is going on? That was John? That was who was that? John Reardon? Daniel's rules? That was that was a damaging rotten off. You gave him a little bit of leeway. And it's hard for me because that was that was Look a lot of tables. That was Scott Foster. That was Scott Foster. Game seven being called into reg that was ridiculous. Okay, here's the thing. Look, some people are not loud. Some people I'm gonna call you out. David Baker just lifts a finger up.

Sean Dave just lifts a little hand up. So all these people they need to be like say it, say something. They're all there's like raising their hands. You can't see everyone in the room. You're like in one corner there on the opposite corner, like say something say eleven twelve, you know,

thirteen dollars whatever it is. You know. Sometimes like we were trying to figure out like who was doing the bidding, and we didn't know, so we had to ask you, you know, And there was a whole When it gets down to the end and you have like a max bid, you obviously want to try to push someone out. That's when it gets a little h tricking. It's hot with a team names because people have crazy team

names and you have no idea who they are. So I'm not a fan of the Yeah, like in a perfect world, and this is not a perfect world because it's just I don't even think that this is possible. But it would be like when like if I were to bid on somebody steven ship like eleven dollars like on the LED while my team name is lit up like highlighted, yeah, and then when it switches to the next one. But that's like I don't even know if you could do that fast enough in real

time and managing the Google docs. So whatever. So twenty five K fantasy twenty five thousand dollars buying. There were twenty teams this year. As I said, the previous record was fifteen teams. You know, Daniel was talking on social media, he was talking on podcasts. You guys heard him on this podcast a couple of days ago talking about how eighteen to twenty teams was certainly in the mix, possibly up to twenty two. We got twenty teams. Okay, I forget what first place is going to be. Our first

place is a quarter of a million dollars. Two hundred five Top four gonna pay, So it goes two hundred fifty K, one hundred twenty five K, seventy five K, fifty K. There's eight players per team. You start with two hundred auction dollars and then you can bid on whoever you want. You go back and forth. You have to fill I'll fill up your team of eight. So twenty teams times eight, that's one hundred and sixty players were drafted. A record number of players were drafted. People had to

dig really really deep. High teamed up with Matt Clark. He went home, he's playing poker tomorrow, so we let him off early. We're gonna have him on the podcast, but he's going home, so he's gonna get some rest before tomorrow. But Tim hasn't looked at the team so much. He was handling the auctioneer duties as I said, So we're going to kind of run through stuff like in real time, our our first look at what we feel about things. Um, I guess I'll address my team first.

UM, so we have we have the most expensive player drafted, Seawan Deeb. We got him for one hundred and twelve dollars. He was was he the second player off the board, third player off the third player off the board? I think it went. I think what Daniel Lebronni first, then

Phil Helmy than Shaan Deeb. I think so yeah, And Daniel mcgroni went for one hundred and eleven and went so every pretty much everyone knows coming into the draft, it's Daniel and it's Sean one A, one B. However you put them, you know whoever you put one A, you got the other person one B, and vice versa. Pretty much everyone knows, other than maybe Chance Cornerth who was drafting for the first time. But I say

that because I'll explain his philosophy. A little bit later, when I talk about his team, David Baker ODB shout out, ODB, love you. He calls me out after we draft Sean Deep. So Daniel goes for one

hundred and eleven. As soon as I see one hundred and eleven dollar price, I look at Matt and I'm like, that's amazing for us, because I'm thinking, Okay, the more teams there are in this thing, the more I'm going to lean into the stars and scrub strategy, and the more that I'm willing to spend on the big guns because they are extremely valuable to me. So I was prepared to honestly go to like one hundred and fifty

bucks if I had to on Shohn Deep. Now, if you listen to this podcast a couple of days ago, you'll know that I was super high and have been super high on Daniel McGrane, okay, which ODIB called me out for after I drafted Sean Deep. How I switched up my mind. Honestly, I think Matt and I decided last night at like eleven PM to switch to Sean Deep. We basically said, you know what, I understand the weight loss bet stuff is looming as a question in terms of like,

is it going to affect his performance? I don't know. I think it's kind of I think it's kind of comes out in the wash when you factor out that and then the field bonus type events that Deep can get that Nigran you won't get because like Nigron, you's not gonna drop a bunch of stacks in the Colossus or the Gladiator or all this other small stuff. And Seawan Deep was just gonna blast in it and hopefully hit a deep run, get us a field bonus whatever. So I said that, you know that's gonna

outweigh things overall. So I'm going with Deep this year. As I said, I was prepared to go super high. Matt seemed to think that there was gonna be a couple teams that might have also gone super high for Deep. I was like, I don't think anyone's probably gonna be prepared to go over like one hundred and twenty five because that just seems astronomical and people get

scared. But like the reason, going back to the first time we ever got in this draft, it got in this draft because Rich Ryan and I were talking shit on the Poker News podcast about like just draft Phil Ivy for one hundred and ninety three dollars and then draft a bunch of seven one dollar players. That's like was our plan. So then you know, people were like, oh, well, you think you can do this, you need

to get in whatever. So we ended up getting in. So like end of the day, like I've always felt like, if it comes down to it, extreme extreme, extreme cases, I could bid one hundred and ninety three dollars on somebody, like I'd be willing to go that high, yeah, and then just get seven one dollar players, Like I would bid one hundred and ninety three dollars, I would leave the room and come back in

four hours, you know, and find seven one dollar players. Um So, anyway, so we get Sean Deep for one hundred and twelve dollars. We're chilling for a while, a bunch of people are coming off the board kind of between like the I don't know, fifty to eighty dollars, arrange ninety dollar range stuff like that. Mike Gardinski comes up. We end up getting Gardinski for forty two dollars. Now it's a tricky pick, I'm to be honest, I'm still not sure how I feel about it. He was

on my list in the second tier. I basically had deeven and Grande in the top tier, and then I had a bunch of other, you know, really good guys in that next tier. But that second tier was also kind of the tier we wanted to avoid because that's the tier that we felt like players would go for are sixty to ninety dollars, and we didn't. We obviously, if we want to get Daniel or Deep, we can't get one of those other players as well, Like, it's just probably not going

to work out with mathematically. But then we get Deep for one hundred and twelve and it's like, wow, this opens the door for a lot of things. Right, So then we thought, okay, the bidding slowing down on Grodinski. He's in the room, he's betting on himself. He did share on social media that he was going to be playing kind of his normal schedule, you know, but he also said things could change, you know, don't be surprised if like, I'm not bidding on myself or something like

that. But he was bidding on himself. So we decided to get in there because we thought, you know, him being bounced around in the thirties was just too affordable for him. So it just comes down to if we can get the volume out of Mike Rodinski. I think ultimately we will, and end of the day, if he like only plays the ten k mix stuff, plays the fifty k PPC, then you know, the twenty five k horse, then maybe we overpaid a bit, right, But I mean,

how many of those events are there. There's probably like fifteen that I just named all the ten k like championship mixed events, twenty five K horse, the fifty KPPC. There's probably a twelve to fifteen of those give or takes. So it's not the absolute worst overpay, but it kind of wasn't something that we were like totally prepared for what we were, but we weren't.

It was it was just kind of wacky at the time. What I would say is like you have someone like Dan Smith, who went to Dan Fleischman's team for twenty three dollars and and Dan is always like he's always on social media. I'm gonna play my normal schedule with which for Dan is like ten to fifteen events, like max fifteen events, right. I mean, it's obviously a lot of the really big stuff and it can get a lot

of points. And Dan is obviously a very very good player. I think I'd rather take Gredinsky because there is there is a chance at a higher ceiling to play more stuff. So so we'll see, I mean, hopefully he doesn't get sucked into some big cash games, but you know, we'll see how how it goes with him. Um, we ended up and then we chilled. So we were chilling with two players forever, like I mean absolutely forever. I mean we so like basically like we took a couple of stabs

here and there with some people that we wanted to get in on. You know, we tried to get in on carry Cats a little bit, who ended up going for a heck of a lot. He went for thirty five. I mean we were high on carry Cats this year, and we're like a little high. We're like, we can get him for maybe fifteen twenty something like that. I mean, he's gonna be playing every single day, He's gonna be playing all the big buying stuff, right, you know.

So and then he goes for thirty five. So we're like, well, there goes that we really really really wanted. Brian or asked. Ultimately, he went for forty three. We only had forty one dollars at the time, so we were out on that. We also tried to get Chad eve Sledge, who It's funny because we were super high on Chad coming into the thing. We're like, Okay, this is great, Like we're gonna go

Sean Deep. Now we have Shaunde for only one hundred and twelve. This opens up the door for Chad eve Sledge pretty much for whatever price Chad goes for like whatever. So the bidding's going up and up and up on Chad. He's in himself and I'm like, well, this just seems like he's going to get himself. And then there was a team next to us who said, we don't think he's that good of a pick, and we're like,

why he's gonna play. He told us that he's playing a bigger volume than than he played last year, and you know, Chad's a good player, plays all this stuff with all the big buying stuff, has had success in blah blah blah. They said he has a new girlfriend and like he's all about her and she's really all about like hanging out with him. So they were like she might kind of get in the way, and we were

like, oh, maybe we faded something there. I don't know, so and I'm always I'm always a little bit leery of teams that take themselves Like this team, it's Team Fort Lauderdale and it was the team was Chad Ev' Sludge, Jake Schwartz, and Dylan Smith and those were their first three picks. They picked all their guys. Okay, So I'm like, oh, or whatever, I have to say that my partner almost had a massive screw up. Massive Do you remember what I'm talking about. We had to nominate

a player. So we're like, we have a list of like people we want to nominate. Yeah, okay, and I'm like, okay, let's nominate this guy. So we're he's like how much. I'm like a dollar? He always nominated for a dollar. He's like, no, you gotta do at least whatever. And I'm like he's like, we're gonna speed this thing up. I'm like no, because what if, like people know stuff

that we don't know and we ended up getting stuck with this person. You have to nominate people that extreme case scenario, you get stuck with him for a dollar you're fine with it for a dollar, but that you don't want to get screwed. He throws out Anthony Zeno for thirty dollars, and I'm just like ready to punch him. I'm like what and the room is dead silent for like ya six seconds. I'm like, old, did you just f us? And he looks at me like he knows he fucked up?

And I'm just like, oh my god. And then somebody went through I think stepped well he started. We nominated someone. This is our second nomination. Our first nomination was Scott Seber, who he threw out for ten dollars, and there was like a brief pause, not as long as the Zeno one, but there was a brief pause, and I was like, great, they know he's playing only cash. Amazing job, Matt, what are you doing? And Matt's gonna listen to this and know that I'm calling him

out. But the Zeno one was like, I mean, even like Sean Dee was sitting right in front of us. He turns around and looks at us like he's like he that we knew that we screwed up. And then you know, and like so somebody, somebody bid thirty one dollars, and I was like, my fucking heart, like, you know, calmed back down, and I was like, thank Christ, not that Anthony Zino isn't a bad pick, because I think that he is a good pick. Um was pick' I don't want to get. Yes, it was activated, and

I was like, oh my god, here we go. Stephen's song comes up. Um, we end up getting him for four dollars. I mean he's a high volume, no limit hold him guy, right, but how much time will we be at the win? That's my only someone like Steven's. We messaged him right after, we said you're on the squad LFG fire symbols ready to go. I'll be there tomorrow for the twenty five K six Max. So I'm like, all right, let's let's go. All I

need from you, we got you for four dollars Stephen song. I need one field bonus like Milliemaker Final Table, one of these events that you always run deep in. That's what I need from you, and I will be super happy. Um. So then we're chilling there. So now we're kind of like we're like, you know, what do we do? Blah blah blah. So our big thing was We really really really wanted Patrick Leonard, and we had talked about it a while coming in, like we really wanted

him. He kind of has been like hit or missed the last couple of years. I know last year he won a bracelet, but it was the tag team bracelets, so it doesn't count for Fantasy, So it's kind of whatever as it pertains to, you know, what we're doing here. So we're like, we're waiting for for d or for Pads. We're waiting for pads and things are passing, and you know, we have I think we still had two players at the time, if I remember correctly, we didn't

draft Steven Song yet. And we're waiting for Pads and we're looking at all the money left, and you know, I'm looking around the room and I'm like, okay, I think like this team over here we had forty one dollars at the time, and I'm like, okay, this team over here, I think knows about Pads, like they I know, they're friendly with him, they've mentioned him before whatever, so like, and that team had I believe it was fifty two dollars at the time, So I needed that

team to go down a little bit they ended up going down to thirty nine. Great. Another team was Daniel's team who was that he was chilling like we were. He had Nick Schulman and Josh Aria for some reason. I feel like Daniel gets Nick Schelman every single year for it's like and and every year. You know what's funny about Daniel is he he always seems to come into the draft under some sort of plan and then like halfway through the draft

he's like, I don't even know what I'm doing anymore. This wasn't my plan, Like, and it happens every single year, every single year, Like he gets Shulman and Ari and he's like, yeah, I don't know what I'm doing anymore, Like there's I think there's one player left that I really want and whatever. So it's kind of like Shulman is like his crack in a way, Like once somebody nominates Shulman, he has to just bid

on him, bring and get him for whatever reason. So anyway, so he's got Shulman and Aria for seventy seven and forty six dollars, so he's got a lot of money left. And I'm like, I think he's also like about pads and I think he even had him last year if I remember correctly. But anyway, I'm like, you know, I want him to go down. Him to lose some money too. And then there was another team, Chance Corners team Chip Leader Coaching, who had a lot of money

as well. They had fifty two dollars fifty two dollars at the time too, and I was like, okay, I need them to also go down. Oh. The other team that I was worried about was their team name is jew Ish jew Ish because it was it's Dan Zach and Philip Sternheimer, right, so it's like Jewish. So I think that's a very sharp team and they're very much in tune with like what's going on. So I'm like

they probably know about pads as well. They had kind of similar money, so I'm like, okay, I need these teams to drop down in money. So these other two teams do. And I think Deep might have been a third team that was in the mix at the time yea. And he also he dropped down to forty. So I'm worried about one team that dropped down to thirty nine, one team that dropped down to forty. We have

forty one, so I'm feeling good. Okay, another team, the other team that I was worried about, Jewish, had less money than that, so I wasn't worried about them anymore. So now I'm really only worried about Chip Leader Coaching, who has fifty two dollars at the time, and I'm like, well, they they only have one player spot left. Yeah, okay, they got Anthony Who, and they were they got Anthony Who,

and they got him for one dollar. If you've listened to this podcast, you know that I'm huge on Anthony Who, and I think he's gonna have a massive year. I've said that he's gonna crush the PGT and all this sort of stuff. And didn't they say something that he's playing some kind of full schedule, like he's playing a top five like biggest schedule could be. And Sean Dee was like bet, like how much you on a bet? Like, and I'm like, yeah, I think. And then we'll Adam

Freeman you know, yeah he is. He's just over exaggeries everything. So then then they're like he's playing all the ten K mixed games Like now, okay, here's what I would say to that. I think Anthony Who is a very good poker player. I just would question when you start saying that he's like all of a sudden playing the ten k mix at the world too, Like, I don't like now, like that just means he's gonna have success if he's kind of newer in that area. I mean, I don't

know. I haven't known him to play mixed games. He didn't the Pgteam mix game series, did he? Like no, you know, so it's like and he only played one of the Palo events. Yeah, so I mean maybe he has been learning, yes, But like then you have to go out there and do it, and you're doing it for the first time, and it's a big schedule and it's a long summer grind, and you know, there's all this other stuff that's going on around town and blah blah

blah. So you know, they're saying he was he's a fifty dollars player, and I'm like, Okay, that's insane to me. I mean, I think very highly of Anthony, who was a player and a fantasy pick, but fifty dollars. No. But the fact that they got him for a dollar allowed them to maintain the fact that they had fifty two So now I'm bidding back and forth with me, DEEB and Maria host team, but

I can outbid both of them ultimately. So I'm like looking at my partner Matt, and I'm like, should I just go all in for forty one

dollars or for forty dollars because then they can't outbid me. And before I can even say that, chance is just like fifty two off top rope, and I'm just like mother, because like, that was the guy, that was the guy we wanted so bad, and it's just like I could sense that it took Matt's wind out of his sales, it took the wind out of my sales a little bit, and I was like no. I was like, we literally just got like three outed on the river because that was

the only team at the time that I even thought would have a hint of pads and then had the money to be able to do it. And it was just like no, and I was like, gosh, darn it. So then it was kind of like, hey, we gotta kind of we gotta kind of switch it up here, and you know, so then it ends up being Sam's overall damaging roddenoff, who I think is a great pick

for ten dollars. You know, I think he's comparable to a lot of other mixed game guys who go for twenty to thirty dollars, plays a big schedule, plays pretty well, has had success, all that sort of stuff. So I'm big on Roddenoff. We ended up getting him for ten dollars in a way. It was kind of a scramble at the end. But but not. And what I mean by that is we have a list,

we have Andrew Ya on the list. He ends up getting thrown out and he's going for fifteen dollars okay, and we only yeah, we only had like fourteen dollars left or something like that, right, so or twelve dollars if they can't remember exactly. So we're like, well that stinks. John Shorman okay, shout out John Shorman. Okay. John Shorman buys action of us on Poker Stack Okay, then proceeds to write in the comments of the

like staking listing what he's playing. You know how much he likes the podcast you know, links the Google sheet of his schedule. Okay, great, right, so now I know that he's like, you know this, I could possibly be a great one dollar pick. Yeah, great, he's on my list. This looks good. I love when they're invested in the team as well, you know, perfect kind of checking all the boxes. Then he sends me a Twitter DM with the same information. Then he sends an

email to the podcast. You know, He's just hitting us up all over the place, right, And I'm like, this guy's in. I don't nowhere. Dan Zach throws his name out there, or no, sorry, Benny threw his name out there, Benny Glazer who has a team, And I'm like, well, huh, I'm like, come on, and he actually an t say that John Shorman one dollar, I like, I immediately looked at you guys, and then I was like and I looked at Matt and I was like, I'm bidding on him, Like I don't like,

so I'm like two dollars. And then somebody else got in the mix, somebody who got who else got into somebody else got in there. I think it was might have been Gordo he I think it was. It wasn't an Benny, and then it was Benny. There was three team, but then Danny and then dan Zach. I think maybe dan Zach he ends up. I ended up bidding five, and then he ends up going for six, and I was like, well, I think I'm gonna let him go now.

And honestly, we were like kind of debating if we should keep going, and then you said soul and it was like, damn it. But you know, it's whatever, So I mean, listen, I'm happy for John Shuman. He's like putting us on his radar as a possible one dollar sleeper and he ends up going for six. Okay, he went to a Team Benny Benny, Benny Glazer's team. So then Andrew Yay comes up, and he's also like, he's only a mixed game guy, but he'll play a lot of the ten game mix and you know, some of the smaller

buying mixed games. Um, he'll play the fifty probably twenty five horse all that sort of stuff. He ends up going for fifteen, which I mean, I wasn't willing to go that high. Um, but pretty good pick for Team Benny. Again. You know, again, they sniped us there, so Sean deep then he has like the most money left out of anyone. He had like forty dollars left right, and he's got one player spot to fill. He leaves he goes over to Daniel and he says, I'm

gonna tell you who I want to nominate. It's this person, and then just bid whatever you need to bid to get them. Yeah. So he leaves the room and he comes up and it's Jaosamao, the Brazilian Crusher and we had him on our list too, and I'm like, what the hell. So he goes a dollar. We're like two. I think Maria or somebody else says someone else, Someone's else the three. I was like four,

Daniel's like five. Anyway, Daniel just goes, you know, seven, which we couldn't bid at the time because we had we had a max bit of seven at the time. So Daniel gets him. So we're kind of like out there, but in a way that gets him. Yeah sorry sorry, deep gets So in a way that kind of made what we were doing easier because we had a group of like six or seven guys, and then the fact that Andrew ya John Shorman joos him out all got pulled from

that list. It just left us with the list and we're like, okay, well we need to get these guys now. David Back was one of them. Gun Slinger. I mean he told us. He's playing every single day, all the mixed games, probably some ten k's, fifty K PPC, twenty five K horse. I think he scored right around one hundred and sixty points last year. He wasn't drafted last year, but that's what he would have scored. Made two final tables. So Matt, I know,

was kind of like iffy on it. But we got a message from from David Bach from the gun Slinger saying what he's playing, So you know, think what you want of him, but he's on our squad and I like it. Then we got John Reardon, who I'm pretty pumped about. He's playing every Nolman plo from zero dollars to twenty five K. He's gonna play

all the online stuff. Love him as a player. I think he's really good, so you know, hopefully he can be somebody who you know, lands one of those field bonuses, hits a big score a final table in like a ten K or a twenty five K something like that. So we were going against chat Eve Sledge the team Fort lauderdown for that one, and they only had four dollars, so I just bid four dollars so that they couldn't go high, so we got him, and then rounding out our squad

is Ian Steinman. Ian Steinman has been averaging I think double digit cashes the last couple of years, does super well. He's kind of similar to reared In, although I would say he does more mixed game stuff than reared In does, but they'll play like a similar Nolaman hold him schedule. Ian also will play all of the online stuff where he has success. I play with him online quite a bit and he's quite frustrating to play against. Played with

him at times around town as well. He's a good player, so I'm happy to have him on the team. We got him for a dollar, so all in all, I'm kind of fine. I think my biggest questions for our team is Gordinsky, just because he was forty two dollars. So it's kind of in that weird middle ground that we in a way wanted to avoid. But if we get the Gordo volume, then I'm super happy with it. Right. It's just we gotta get the Gordo volume, Okay.

And what I mean by that as I mean every ten k, I mean the fifty k, the twenty five k ppc um, you know, maybe some five ks or stuff like that's uh, you know whatever. Um. And then the other one is Sam silverrol We got him for twenty dollars, so we felt like we needed kind of one of those high roller guys that was, you know, gonna play any ten k plus you know, twenty five K, fifty K, two hundred k, like all those no limit

tournaments. On that list. Was like in Alex foxon UM, we had Sean Winter, we had Sam Silverrol, Um, we had Mikita bad Yakowski on there. UM, we had David Peters was also on there. We been on Alexa. He ended up going for way too much, so we were out of that one. Same thing with Sean Winter, got in early, but then he ended up going for too much, so we had to get out of that one. David Peters as well, we're kind of bidden

on that one, but you know, he ultimately went away. So we have Sam Soilroll there, so it's like, you know, let's just get Sam soil Roll. Might have overpaid, you know, we paid twenty four, we might only be worth ten. But Sam Silvil is a guy where we understand it's lower volume, but it's a lower volume in the events that really matter. So you know, we'll just kind of eat that one and

go from there. But you know, hopefully Sam can do something. Hopefully he plays some of the PLO stuff as well, and you know, we'll see if he can make anything happen. We also had Brian Kim on our list. You know Brian Kim as he is a friend of mine. I've got him on my list, and then all of a sudden, his name gets announced from my left. I look over. It's Dan Zach. I'm like, of course you and Brian are friends. Like, what the f? So he goes a dollar. I go to Daniel jumps up, who

are we bidding on? You tell him Brian Kim Daniels like three and I'm like four. And Daniel looks at the screen and he's like, how much do you have left? Ten? Ten? I'm like what, I'm like, really, that's my favorite pods when I'm like really, huh, Like what is going on? So that's our team. Shawn Dee for Harder and twelve absolutely loved that pick. Mike Rodinski forty two dollars Stephen's song He is our field bonus king. That's what he's gonna do for us. Four dollars.

Sam's overall twenty dollars. He's the high roller guru on our team. Dam Jen rodden Off he's kind of the mixed game guy. David Bach also a mixed game guy, and then we got John Reardon and Ian Steinman in the mix as well. I guess looking over things, I was surprised with Team Lang. So that was Mike Lang's team rolland Israel lash really for nineteen dollars, Phil Ivy for nineteen dollars. I kind of don't understand what's going

on there, really, So that just seemed kind of weird overall. And he had at the time he had Kevin Gerhard for thirty three, rolland Israel aash really for nineteen and Phil Ivy for nineteen. So I was kind of like, I don't really know where he's going with this team, right, Team Deeve, I was questioning the Justin Saliba pick for twenty eight dollars. Yeah, I didn't like that. I mean, isn't he only a no limit guy. Yes, it's not that he's listening. He's very good,

very very good, and he's doing extremely well this year overall. But I was like, a no limit guy, that's yes, a Noelman only guy is good. But if you want to know him and Oldham a Noelman only guy, don't you want a guy who's gonna be like in the two fifty k, the hundred k, like that sort of stuff. Like, Yeah, Justin will probably get into the twenty five k's, but is he gonna go higher than that? I don't know. Maybe if he has success he

will and he'll sell for and whatever. But I thought that was a little bit of a head scratcher in a way. But you know, it's probably a fine pick overall. I'm not sure on his Steve's old tile pick for a dollar. Yeah, I mean I don't I don't really understand that one. He has Darren Elias for thirteen dollars. If Darren Elias is gonna put in volume, I like Darren Elias thirteen dollars over Justin Saliva twenty eight dollars.

Okay, Ray Henson. You know he's kind of gonna be in all the stuff games lower by and no limit all that sort of stuff, So he's fine. Justin Bonnomo for thirteen dollars can certainly be that one can go either way. It can be a steal if Justin Bonowell puts in volume. It can be a bad big if Justin Bonnomoe doesn't put in volume. So that's just a volume thing. And then loves the Jaws some out pick as well. Team Ryan Reese. I mean, Kai Aldemir had a banger year

last year. He's playing a whole ton of stuff this year. He's already here in Vegas. He's the most expensive player on the team for seventy dollars. He's got Dan Weinman, Calvin Anderson, Nick Waugenty, Justin Liberto, Brock Wilson, Dustin Dirkson, Mike Leah. I know Mike Leah is coming back out for a couple of weeks that he's a you know, basically out of retirement, so that's probably a good pick for a dollar. Dustin Dirkson, I know he's a really good player. It's just done volume play.

Is he gonna play four events? You know? Like so I don't know there, So that's gonna be interesting. Team Fort Lauderdell. That's the Chat, Eve Sledge, Jake Schwartz, and Dylan Smith team who they all have on their team. They also have Kane Callis, Scott Bowman, Mike Wang, Aaron Coopin and Arthur Morris, who you pointed out to me before the draft, you know, so he ended up getting drafted for three dollars. I like the Scott Bollman pick at eighteen dollars. Kane Kalis going for twenty.

Kane plays a lot of the mixed game stuff, a lot of bigger buying stuff, so that's they must just know he's playing a lot, because there was a lot of bidding on King Kalis team Benny, that's Benny Glaziers team. He's got Benny Glaziers, so he's got himself for ninety five dollars. I think that's a really good pick. Anthony Zeno, Phillip Sternheimer, Mark Gregor, Rich, John Shorman, Max Pescatory, Brandon Shack, Harrison,

Andrea I sneaky love the Max Pescatory pick. Said he's playing all of his normal stuff and then possibly you know, at least four to five ten cas is what he said, So you know, give me the Italian pirate for a dollar. That seems like a great pick. I know Benny nominated him when that happened, and then no one bid on him, and Benny kind of was like h okay, Like all right, Like that's the type of player that, like, I don't think you're really hating on getting nominated

for a dollar getting stuck with her dollar. Team Gaga that is Ren Lynn's team with Adam Hendricks and Anson Sang, we're kind of all together. They got Phil Hui, Alex Livingston, they got Anson Sang so an owner on their team, Dylan Wiseman, Boo Ding, Ren Lynn, Sean Winter, and Ajan Matteos. I kind of have no idea what to think about this team. I mean, this team is like I kind of like this team. I don't know why. I just have this feeling that it's gonna be

okay, it's not the worst thing. Let's all say yeah. I mean, I just I honestly don't. I mean, the questions are like, what are Anson saying in Boo Ding, Like, I'm you know what. It's funny because as were having this pot I'm thinking of I'm thinking in the future, I'm thinking my ODB team, and I'm trying to put together a

team and actually I'm my team right now, is Anson Sang? Well, yeah, if you're playing ODB, the ODB League, if you just go to twenty five k Fantasy dot Com and then at the menu at the top, you can enter an ODB team cost five hundred dollars and then if you add the bonus player, it's five hundred and twenty five dollars total. Um. You basically submit a team and then you gotta pay ODB. So you know, just make sure that you do that if you do it. But

he was saying there might be five hundred teams this year. Yeah, five hundred. I mean that's insane. But if if you're getting five hundred teams, like, you gotta pick like the people that people aren't gonna pick. You gotta go against the grains and you gotta go Anson say, like you gotta put him on your chip leader coaching. This is my favorite team. I think this is the same. I really like this team. Other than one pick, I think is a zero. I think it's a flat out

zero. And I wow, So he has we may have Brian rast for forty three beautiful Craig Chate twenty one. Yeah, we were super high. Unrass ultimately got price. He's playing a decent schedule, but he's missing like fifteen days. Oh wow, okay, uh carry kats like it may not like it at the price, but it ultimately worked out. Bryce Yak like that one. Sean Buchanan one dollar. Sean begins zero for me, just because I don't think he plays anymore. Like he plays cash. He's a

Canadian guy and doesn't want to deal with the tax stuff. Plays cash. So unless somebody knows that he's putting in the volume, then but I think they nominated him and then they got him. So that tells me that everyone else in the room was like, Bucky's not a good player because he's not a good draft pick. No, he's not a good player. I awarded the wrong. He's just not a good draft pick. David Williams for thirteen not bad if he puts in some volume to pricy, it depends on the

volume. There. You know Anthony who we already talked about him. They got him for a dollar and then they stole Patrick Leonard from us for fifty two dollars. Don't hate this one. So we talked with Chance afterwards and he was telling us a bit about his strategy and he's of the belief. So let me say that. Let me preface it by saying that it's chances first time ever drafting Okay, he believes that no player should go for more than seventy dollars, no one, And we looked at him like, you're

insane. Because the more teams that there are, the more valuable it is to get a top scoring player, so like you have to spend up. So as I kind of opened the podcas cast up by saying, you know, we'd be willing to go up to one hundred and ninety three dollars in extreme cases. This went from fifteen teams to twenty teams the most ever, So you know, I think you've got to be prepared to go stars and

scrubs. And yeah, there might be a lot of risk in this, but we're not trying to be middle of the pack here and like squeaking into the playoffs. We're trying to win first place, you know, So let's go stars and scrubs. Those those stars are super valuable, so their price has to go up, so, you know, chances his thought processes, he doesn't think anyone should go for higher than seventy dollars. It makes sense

looking at his team. You know, he's got forty three, twenty one, thirty four, fifty two, you know, and then one thirteen and one, so you know, he's kind of just in that thirty to fifty dollars range, which is the range that I don't ever really want to be in. Team Gordo has Mike Maddis out for twenty, which was kind of interesting because it was their first pick and it was like they put him out there and then he starts getting bit on by all these people and everyone's kind

of like, like, what the hell is going on? But I mean whatever, listen. Mike Madisow may have gone completely off the rails in recent years, you know, but if he's like buckled down and trying, I don't hate having him on the squad. I don't know if I would pay twenty dollars for him, but I don't hate having him on the squad. The problem with if I was Gordo in this situation is that you go out and you get Mattis out for twenty first pick, it kind of is like,

well, what where am I going to go from here? Type of thing, because you would just spend twenty dollars on somebody. Then he gets Chris Brewer for forty four. Nacho Barbara went for seventy two. It is the year of Nacho. Nacho is he's a wild card to me. Nacho could continue to crush tournaments and be good and win and do awesome and all that sort of stuff. Or Nacho could be in a cash game somewhere Nachos all four weeks. Nacho and Matisow also probably not playing the four hundred dollars

Colossus, the six hundred deep stack. Yeah, you know, that one's tricky. I'm not sure about those ones. M Steve Chitwick, Steven Chidwick for twenty dollars is certainly way less than Steven Chidwick has ever been before. That said, he's out of the country supposedly has some visa issues trying to get back in because I guess he like overstayed his visa or something the last

time that he was here, So that there's that whole situation. So, you know, because we were wondering the whole time, like where is he for USPO, Where is he for Poker Girl Cop, where is he for the mixed games, where is he for plis, He's like all that sort of stuff, And you know, we found out that he has these visa issues, so maybe he clears them up before tomorrow. Maybe he clears them up in two weeks. Maybe he just says, you know, what's screwed.

I'm just gonna hang out at home with my family and comfort just the main event. I have no idea. So if Chitwick comes and is able to get here and all those issues are cleared up with the visas and getting into the country and saying here and blah blah blah, and he's able to put in a large volume like we know Steven Chitwick does, he's an absolute steal for twenty. If he just comes out for like the last event, or possibly misses everything, then he's a rip off. Like you know,

you just way way over spend, So that one's tricky. Um Ike Haxton for nine, Paul Volpi for nineteen. That one's kind of like that feels so expensive, too expensive. Like is he gonna play anything? I know he played a couple of events last year, but you know it's not the old Paul Volpi. That's the difference. Yeah, your guy, Robert Campbell, what I mean, is he gonna play again? He's I think he said he's he's playing all the championship events. He's gonna be He's an eight

dollar player at dollars. I think's great. Yeah, and then Ryan the Plant rounds out their team might worry about Ryan is also in the same vein with your team with Stephens song is how many events will he be playing at the Well? I looked up even like the Wind Venetian There's a lot of options nowadays for these, like no limit PLO Well. I looked at.

He posted a schedule online, no posted a whole Google sheet. There is a lot of stuff like there's stuff at the Wind, there stuff at the Venetian Um, but there's a crap ton of stuff at the w z AP. And he did say w ZIP takes priority of everything else. So you know, he's someone who I wouldn't have minded having on my team. You know, at that point, it was much later in the draft. We didn't the money for it whatever, not a big deal, but he's he's

a good pick as well. And then Team Baker that's ODB, Mark Gregorige and Nick Gua genty were drafting. So they have ODIB on their team for fifty nine dollars, which I thought was kind of low. I thought he would go for a much higher. I thought he was like an eighty dollar player for sure, so that was interesting to me. They have Adam Freedman for forty six dollars, which I think is good, Chris Vich for thirty

nine dollars. Obviously there was that whole thing. Last year, Ryan restrafted Chris Vitch even though Chris Vitch said that he wasn't coming on social media, so Ryan got stuck with him last year. I'm guessing he's coming this yet. Oh yeah, yeah, everyone thinks that he's coming this year. So if he plays anything like the normal Christophits schedule, thirty nine dollars is an awesome price. M J. Gonzalez. This is Matthew m Jay Gonzale.

So what's interesting here is he got brought up and I was going to the bathroom and Daniel Nigron who followed me to the bathroom. So like, I'm thinking, well, Daniel must know that he's not going to play a lot of tournaments. Because if Daniel at the time and doesn't have a lot of players obviously knows MJ. Well, like, so why wouldn't he draft him. He didn't even stay in the room, Okay, so he must know that he's not playing a lot. He's only gonna play the high stakes.

Cash game. So that's my thinking there. So if that's the case, fourteen dollars is obviously an overpayment if he doesn't put in any volume. He also got the other David Baker, David Bakes Baker, and they only got him for three dollars, and I think that's a steel. Yes, I agree, but again it comes down to volume. And even Odibs was talking afterwards how he thought it was weird how there wasn't more bidding on Bakes. So is there something that people know? I mean, he was on my

list, so I don't know. I liked the pick for three dollars. It's an absolute steel if we can play all the ten k mix ones. That's why I think that's such a good value. He might not, but he might also he's definitely likely to play those. I think it's a good value. Um, they got Ariangele for even this one's tricky because it's like, you know, where's our he gonna because it gonna be gonna be the golden nugget or is he gonna be the ten case stud in thep I have

no idea. Danny Wong for a dollar interesting because I don't know to Danny Wong to put in a tone of volume in recent years. So that's an interesting pick to me. But maybe they know something that we don't. Um this one maybe okay, but this one is also super Maybe they know something that we don't. James opsed for seven A is he back? I thought he was retired. I thought he's in a tennis pronoun So I have no idea about James Ops. But Odb's out there tweeting like, welcome to the

team, welcome back to the WISP. So if James Ops is back, I mean that's an absolute steal at seven dollars um. But I feel like this team, you got the you got the m J. Gonzales thing, got the questions about the Bakes, obviously, questions about Angle Wong and opsed. Now that I'm saying all this, I'm sure that team is just gonna absolutely blow doors. But not that it's not doesn't have a high reward, But I think that team has high risk as well. All right, Team

AJ, that is Aj Kelsall's team. He's got, He's got the whole Florida squad on his team. You've all broun seen fifty one. I think that's a little bit lower than he probably should have gone for John Raisner forty one great player, but he did sa on social media. Think that he's gonna be like kind of coming out here but then going back for some stints to see the family. So whatever. But listen, I think A j and John Raisner are very very good friends, so he probably knows what Raceners

are gonna do, so that's fine. He also got himself on the team. He got Jerry Wong, he got Andrew Brown for twenty, Jesse Lonis for three, Rammy Boukai for a dollar, and Aaron Zobian for a dollar. I think this is a really good squad if you get the volume that we are known to get out of Raisner. I really like this, have a good idea what Andrew Brown's gonna play. Jesse Loanus is like the Noelan mcgiy gonna play all that stuff. I think Rammy Boukai is probably my only

question, like what's he gonna do? You know? Several years ago he basically took the WSP by storm, was playing massive stakes on full till Poker, all this sort of stuff, but then he kind of kind of went away. Um, but he has been coming back a little bit I just kind of wonder what he's gonna do. But maybe AJ has some insight there. Team Dirty Stack that is Craig Chates team. I'm always coming with the

creative names here. He's got Adam Hendricks for forty seven, Dylan Lindy for forty nine, Julia Martini twenty two, Jeff Madson twenty eight, John Manette forty, Noah Braunstein seven, Ryan Hughes a dollar and James Chen for six. I kind of I hate this team, wow, I don't. I just I just hate the price. The twenty five to forty'all are like that, like building your team of those players. I just I don't like

that. I don't mind John Manette is John Mane for forty is if I think Mike Gordonsky for forty two is scary, I think John Mane for forty is absolutely freaking petrifying. Just really, the only thing I'm thinking is just the cash games. They always always in the cash games. I feel like he's he's a little bit in the Brian Rass category of of glory and bracelets. Rebuttal there was that. Brian rest has said it. He's on record

many times saying like now I made all my money in poker. What I care about his Poker Hall of Fame winning bracelets and you know, getting that recognition, you know, going down in history is one of the best, So I know he's about the glory. I don't know about John Maine, that's my thing, So I don't know. I feel like John Maine could get pulled into some cash games. But Jehman is obviously a world class player, so maybe you only need you know, four or five tournaments. Who

that knows Team Jewish that is Dan Zach and Philip Sternheimer. Dan Zach drafted himself one hundred and nine dollars, so he's right up there with the Nigron News and Deeps. He also got Scott Severer for forty, Philippe Rahmas for twenty eight. Really like that pick. Poa Puntry for four a dollars. He's kind of their their high roller guy, Nick Petrangelo for two dollars. Also a high roller guy, Andrew Liechtenberger, Archer, Matt Rosian, and

Chris Unken. I don't love the last t picks, but their first six I loved. I absolutely love the six. I my only I like this team and I think they took a route that I tend to go with the strategy of how I'm picking. My only kind of question here is is it too big bet heavy? Yes, that's who not Petrangelo, Lichtenberger, Marta, Rosian, Huniken, they play any mixed games like no, that's Nolm

and Polo. Now you're gonna get You're gonna get Nolm and Polo up to I mean, I don't know for sure as well, but I think you're ceiling in terms of what they're gonna play. Is Nolan and Polo five K to two hundred and fifty K, Like you're gonna get the whole spectrum in that regard, you're gonna get like you might get zero volume from Autam, but unless Philip Stenheiman knows something, Connie Chin's always wild, we might get four events out of him. I like people Hunichan, You're you're for sure

getting like you're gonna get the fifty Kuno like that might be it. Well, I know, I know, but like so I like Puna, I like Petrangela, you know, and Lucky Chiwi, and I love their value for Ramasse, But like those two lost players for one dollar each like, I feel like they could have got so many more players that you're going to touch on coming up in some other teams that I think will play such a huge schedule compared to those two guys. Exactly. Yeah, I mean,

so that's that's interesting the way that they went about that. I just would have I would have taken the punts free petrzel Liechtenberger, Marta Rosie and Hunigan that group, and like, I feel like they're all kind of the same player, So I would have I would have differentiated a bit there. Dan Fleischman, Surprisingly, Dan Fleischman was here pretty much till the end of the draft. Normally he's here for about an hour, drafts his team super fast

and then gets the hell out of here. Um. He drafted Phil Hellmuth for seventy one dollars, Chance Corneth for sixty nine. I really like Chance Corneth this year. Dan Smith for twenty three. We talked about him a little bit early. He put out his schedule. It's about fifteen events, twelve fifteen events, something like that. Rob MISSOCKI for eleven. Pretty good, Pretty good pick there. Yeah, Ryan Reese for twenty two. You wouldn't think it, but Ryan Rees has been crushing lately in terms of like

getting field bonus is baking final tables. A huge point getter there, Um Joe Katta. You know he's got what four bracelets now three or four? I'vean whatever, he's big field Noelman holding specialist crushes there. Michael Missrocki. I mean, I think I've seen Michael Missocki three times in the last three years, so I have no idea what he's gonna do at the World Series of Poker. I have absolutely no He might win the fifty k a game,

but I have no idea. Espen Georgetad was on my list. Interesting pick obviously has the bank roll after winning the main event last year, so we'll see how big he's firing, but very good Noelman hold him player that I'm sure we'll see in the mix plenty, so I don't hate that pick as well. For a dollar, don't mind this team overall. I just

have questions about Michael Missrocki. In his volume, Team Nori went with Daniel mcgrani for one hundred and eleven dollars, then Mike Nori, who's hit the owner twelve dollars, Alex Wilkinson. I don't know who that is, I believe he's the other Arnold. Okay, so he went for a dollar who I believe I looked up on hind him mob. At least he has like three cashes for five thousand dollars total, so he's gonna be obviously blasting.

I'm guessing Marco Johnson for seventy two. Marco Johnson was drafted like super super late, but super good pick there. Hal Rotholz playing a pretty good schedule. Found his schedule online. Matt Vangren, Scott Esknazi, and Crazy Mike aka Mike Thorpe. I love Crazy Mike, but I hate him as a pick because if I like games and the fact he really limits he schedule, I like three of these picks. I like Nigran You, I like Marco, I like Hal Rotholz, I don't like anything else. I prefer Nori

over how Rotha. Really, yeah, I mean nor I feel like you can just get pulled away to other stuff. I don't know about his volume. I mean yeah, I think vangrun for a dollar can be pretty good value too. Yeah. It's also he plays some mix, but he plays p He did tweet that, like, you know, if I sell for some of the bigger stuff I could get in there. So Hello Friscos. So that is Josh Kay's team. He was seated actually right next to us. So one of the players that was on our list that we loved he

got early on and that's a Yuki Zoo aka rich Zoo. But you know, he scores super well every single year. He's out there tweeting to Kevin Matt about the POI rule, is playing a full schedule, like Yuki Zoo's ready to go, hands up, going for thirty four dollars. So because it was so early in the draft, we want that flexibility later on, so we were like, you know, we'll pay ten to fifteen for rich Zoo. But he ended up getting up there and people were really in on

him, so we just decided to pass. Ben You for seventy six. That's a good pick as well. We put a couple of bids in there, but ultimately he went higher than we were willing to go based on our team structure. Ellie Lezer for thirty six, good pick. Joey Cowden twenty nine dollars. But I want to say, somebody said he's missing like fifteen days or something, and somebody said that afterwards, Maria Hope for ten sounds like given her schedule, she's going to be a pretty good player for ten

dollars. Brad Ruben for thirteen. Brad Rubin was in the YouTube chat and said after he got drafted. Oh, but he also said in the YouTube chat like, wow, I got drafted, like in the chat. Really yeah, So it was a fake Brad Ruben in the chat. It could have been. But I like how they finished. I like how they finished that team here with Brad Cherish andrews Ye Dollar playing a lot of stuff. She's got ahold, She's got like fucking like nine thousand listings. That's also

sake. Let's also remind the people that for the first time this year, the ladies event casino employees and the scene is count This is true for this and that's why I think some of these, you know, ladies that got taken out of a little bit more value than they normally would. And then John Hennigan aka Johnny World rounds out the team for a best best dollar pick of the whole draft. Well, according to some people, he's playing this year, but I've heard that in the past and he's played one of like

he showed up for just the tencase his favorite in that event too. Well, yeah, but it's one event. Stuff can happen. Maria's Homies. You can guess whose team that is the best team name of the Hall fell It's for sure the best team name. By the way, I just want to point it out that I tried to bring back team media and then my my, it got he got denominate my teammates and no, no, no, I don't want to be a media I don't want to be a media

whatever man. Maria's Holmies has Yuri's Evelevski, Uri Martin Zeris, Evleski, whatever you want to call him. Ninety nine dollars. Great pick there, he's already here. He's ready to go. Crusher Shannon George twenty one, Ben Diebold nineteen, Joseph Chong two, Brian June eighteen, Ranan Brushki. I have no clue. Who's a Brazilian guy one dollar? Dmitry Rubanovich didn't even know he was still around seven dollars in Daniel Strailet's four dollars. I

love everyone on this team other than Brushki and Urbanovich. Brushki, I just don't know, so I can't say that I love him if I have absolutely no clue who that person is. And then Urbanovich, I'm just I feel like he several years ago made a splash, did the whole thing where like I'm gonna win three bracelets, and then he disappeared off the face of the year. So I don't know what's going on there. Um everyone else I absolutely love. I was super high on Shannon Shore coming in um my partner

and I didn't agree on that one. That said, I think that Shannon Shore is going to have a great year. I think he. I think he's he's just do He puts in such a good volume and he plays a lot of stuff, and like he got close last year when he made the foun table, but this falls in the He's just he's doing man. Yeah, he fills in the hall. Will he play a lot of the win? Will he play a lot of them him? I think I think he'll play at a half dbspy schedule as he always does. Um Ben Dibald.

After that happened, I was talking with David Baker and I was like, seems a little bit surprising that he only went for nineteen And you know, David really wasn't in on him so um, and I know he was like basically the talk of the town during the BGT mix game series, like everyone wanted to kind of interact with Ben Diebald. So I thought maybe coming into this he would go for a lot more money that I was like, you know, he's gonna be one of those players that's gonna be like a surprising

forty to fifty dollars player. Yeah. That said, I think there's just a worry there from a lot of these players that he's just gonna play mixed games. So I don't know. If he puts in the volume and he plays every single day and he plays all the tournaments, then that's gonna be one we look back on my team specifically and say, like we should have

gotten in I'm been diable for nineteen dollars or around there. Unfortunately we didn't because like a lot of other people, I'm assuming we have concerns about the Cash Games team. Zamani Martin Zamani, his first time here, I believe, Yeah, I'm pretty sure he didn't know who like half the players were that he was drafted. He was looking at the shades. He printed off the shades from the twenty five K fantasy website, so he had like no idea and he got to his lost Well, i'll let you go through the

team, but like he was lost. So he drafts Alex Hoxon for seventy seven, which is a great pick. Chino roam for twenty eight. I think Chino's a new dad. Maybe he plays less, he think, Yeah, I have no idea. There was a photo on his Instagram with him holding the baby and like the caption or something said daddy loves you. So

I'm assuming that means you're a new dad. So I'm just wondering how much is he gonna play because he like didn't he like play a couple of one of our series and then just like left feel like USPO or like like PLO, like one of those mixed games he played like the first like two events and then left. So I don't know. Maybe he's not gonna put in a huge volume. I will. I'm a Chino truther in terms of like you put that guy in the big buying tournaments. Ten k plus is like

he will perform. It just comes down to volume with him. Max Coleman fifty four dollars. Max Coleman. We tried to get him last year on our team, he was we were outbid for him. This year. He went from fifty four dollars, certainly out of our price range for what we had at the time. But I think that's a very good pick. Mac Lance for five dollars. Probably not the biggest volume, but I don't think

you can argue with five dollars for mac Lance. I think that's a pretty good steal m If he puts in twenty tournaments, I'm in dan Colepoys eleven new guy being drafted. I'm not sure about that, just I would have to know his volume right. And Joe McKeon eight dollars. I know my teammate Matt Clark knows Joe McKeon. Joe McKeon told him not to draft him, so that I think you can tell where we are there. Martin's Money took himself for a dollar, and then he took George Woods. I think

it's actually a decent, decent pick. We even said we started having the conversation when we saw him here, like, you know, should we think about Martin's of money and then George Wolf for sixteen dollars. I don't know about this team overall. I mean, there's a lot of questions, like the Max Coleman pick. Yeah, I just don't we like the China. Well, I don't know. It's not that I don't like the Chino pick. I don't know, I don't. I have questions like, if it

maybe for twenty eight, it's probably not maybe not worth it. Yeah, it's not worth the risk. Team Nagrani. We kind of hit him in a little bit earlier, but we'll go fully into it here. So he takes Nick Scholan for seventy seven, Josh Ria for forty six. He took Shulman like pretty early for seventy seven. Then he was chilling for a while. Then he took Ria for forty six. Then he was chilling for a long ass time. Basically it was him and us who had two players and

no one else. Yeah. Um, Then he gets David Peters. We were in on that. He ends up getting him for nineteen dollars. He gets Eric Wassson. I have no idea if Eric Washington's gonna play zero one or twenty more. Yeah, I have no idea. Matthew Watman the other Bucky. He's in there for two dollars. Probably not the worst pick. Brian is pretty Brian Kim was on my list. Really wanted to get him as a sleeper too much. He's playing all the ten kays to but he's

like the he would have fit like our Sam soul Rule guy. Yeah, like so we would have filled with Brian Ben Lamb. Ben Lamb's an interesting one nine dollars. I just questioned volume. My teammate and I, Matt were, you know, going back and forth on Ben, like he's a good pick if he puts in any sort of handful of volume. I just have no idea if he's gonna be on the golf course or he's gonna be

here, if he's gonna probably playing high stakes pelo cash. But I guess he has a bet, a bracelet bet against Sean deeb SO and Sean So. Then Sean Dee was trying to bid on Ben Lamb as like a hedge for his brace of the been right, because Sean said like he after Daniel, Daniel got him because whatever I don't think Sean had Sean didn't have enough money or what, I don't know what happened. He gets him, but Daniel gets him. Shawan turns to us and Sean said he he's not putting

in nearly the volume I am, which no one is. Um, So I kind of just took it as a hedge that I was gonna bid on him a little bit. Maybe I get him, Maybe I don't so anyway, but he ends up with the Grants team, and then Joey Wiseman for at All. I don't hit hit that. I don't hate that. That's kind of like our Stephen song pick. You know, it's gonna play a

lot of the no limit stuff. Yeah, there's some risk that he's playing around town at the winner of the Venetian or whatever, but um, Joey Wiseman's probably gonna play all the no limits stuff up to twenty five, maybe fifty. He played the big stuff in the USPO because he was in the runners the point, but what if he's in the running for what if he's won a lot of money early on? What if he's in the running for

PO? I like, you know, all that sort of stuff. And then lastly, our good friends Brent Hanks and Jeff Platt, to be honest, I kind of had no idea what their draft strategy was the whole time. They would like, take a couple jabs here and there, but then they wouldn't do anything. Then they would take a jab, then he could. Brent kept yelling level nine, which made no sense to me whatsoever, and I was really confused. I know you were confused as well, trying

to figure out the auction stuff. They draft Jeremy Osmin's for eighty six dollars, that's their first big pick. Don't hate that one. He was certainly in that tier for me. Ryan Lang for fifty two. I think that's a little bit pricey for what I would have paid, But I mean, he looks like he's gonna put in the volume and all that sort of stuff. We obviously know what he did a couple of years ago in the fifty k when he ended up getting heads up losing to Dan Kate, so we

had a good run in that. Kristen Foxon for seventeen, interesting pick addition to the ladies that I might help there. But she's gonna play a high or sorry, a big schedule of the no limit stuff. She was talking about it on social media, so don't hate that one. Brian Hastings is interesting. Brian Hastings is always on my list. Always seems to be like guaranteed one hundred two, one hundred and twenty five points every single year.

But this year he tweeted that he's going to be playing less high buying mixed game stuff. So I'm kind of like, hmmm, I don't know what that means, so I think I have to downgrade you a little bit. So anyway, he goes for thirty one dollars, is Mal Bojang four dollars, Alancastler two dollars, and the Alan Casler pick is the worst pick in the draft. Really, I mean, why wouldn't it be Phil Ivy for nineteen. It might be the worst pick in the draft. Um, James

Ops for seven. Well, but James Ops is back, I mean, but phil Ivy could be back too, and then nineteen is a steel right yeah, but just like not knowing anything, I feel like they both pretty bad. No gam in the Future rounds it out with Michael Truvev for three dollars. Don't don't hate it, you know, as long as he gets the volume in. Um no, he's a new dad as well, so that you know, I know how that is Nike and that can take aways

some time. And then justin Young, Who's I believe a co owner of the team in there for two dollars, So you know, Justin's going to need to leave the Blasio Cash games and come on over. But that would be my only con for just Young is that But if he's invested in the team, you know, maybe that uh, maybe they felt obliged. I mean, what do you think? Well? What what what sticks out to you kind of the most? What do you think of our team? Give

me an honest I want to honest review. I don't love Goro and sever. I mean, at those you and I we might as well be sharing the same thoughts. Those are my same price forty two dollars. You know, I would probably rather Brian Hastings at thirty one, you know, Chris Brewer forty four, something like that. Chris Bruw is going to play all the same mixed games that Goro is going to do, but also Chris plays

all the no Limit all the PA. Well, my my, if I were to just kind of do a swap, I would I would for sure rather have Brian rast for forty three than it'd and we really really wanted Rast, but like the opportunity with with Goro just felt like it was too good to pass up. So I'm also down Sean Dave this year, but I don't, I don't. I'm not gonna, you know, say that's a bad pick either. I just personally I'm down John Dave. I love Damn

Jan Big Big Damn Jan, radanough fan David. You know it's the your last three picks, David Buck for Dolla, John Reorder for four, Ian Steinmon for Odalla. They're gonna be interesting. Like I'm really wondering how much David Buck's gonna play. Is John John reorda gonna play that? I mean, I will. I will tell you what David Buck told us. I will always read to you the message. I will be playing every day, mostly mixed some Nolan and hold him mixed in. He's not playing any high

rollers, which yeah, which we knew going in. But he's playing fifty k PPC and twenty five k Horse usually works out twenty five events. Okay, so yeah, I mean for one dollar, we got the guns Linger. Let's go. Yeah, I'm in. He's gonna be stacking. He's gonna be stacking his chips and ship seas and the ship that I can't count. I'm gonna be so tilty. He's gonna have a family table and all this other stuff that he brings with him, but he's gonna be gun slinging

to victory. Baby. I was actually very I was also very surprised. I thought chance first time drafted, drafted very well. Um, but it's yeah, it's it's it's very different with twenty teams. I really didn't believe that we were going to get this many. There's gonna be some like because there's so many players drafted, right, So they're fifteen teams last year, twenty teams this year, so five more. So there's an extra forty players

in the field. I mean, there's gonna be some scores that you just like scratch your head at, like somebody's gonna hit some freaking field bonus and some stupid turn, like he's just gonna be I remember years ago there was one not that this guy isn't a good player, because he's obviously world class, that's Johnny World, Henagan, but he like hit the field bonus in the Colossus, and it's like, why the f is Johnny World playing the

Colossus or whatever turn he was playing some ridiculous tournament hit the field box and I was like, you gotta be f and kidding me, like how is this even real? But you're gonna see like crazy stuff like that just because there's there's so many players. There's so many players, and there's a lot more like kind of cheaper players that are probably gonna strike out a lot in terms of getting points, but also could hit a home run. And we

have some of those players on our team. I mean we got Ian Steinman, we got Stevens Song, we got John Rearden. You know they could be like that. Nolan would hold them like a one K field, make it to the final twenty seven, get us a huge field bonus, you know whatever. There's gonna be a lot of those people in the mix. So I think it's super interesting. I think more than ever, you're really

gonna have to pay attention to everything. Like I feel like it's kind of always been known that you pay attention to all the ten K championship events, right, and for quite a long time, like no one cared about like the smaller buying no limits stuff, probably other than our team whenever we were in it, like we were the ones kind of drafting those guys to try and hit the home run. But then last year was obviously that shift where it was like, oh, we need to start caring about these high rollers.

So then last year it was like care about ten K championships and the really big buying high roller events. Right. Yeah, Now this year, because there's so many teams and teams are forced to find these diamonds in the rough everywhere, you're really gonna get kind of everything everywhere. So it's like there's gonna be NonStop sweats going on all over the place. So I'm really looking forward to it. Overall, I'm not sure I've fully decided who I

think has the best team. I mean, I'm only on chip leader coaching. I mean, I can't look past the Sean Buchan in one Like, listen, if they get Sean Buchanan playing some tournaments, fine, but I just can't look past the fact that I think he's just gonna not play tournament. Just I'm just I mean, you and me both a big on Bryan Rass, I'm big on Bryce Yalky. You know who knows. I think

I really like I think I really like Jewish dan Zach's team. I think I'm just worried that you might get three events out of the hit their final two picks, and that's that's a little scary regardless of how good dan Zak is. I mean, we obviously have questions about our team. I mean you pointed out the ones that were obviously concerned about the girl pick for forty two dollars, Sam's over World for twenty dollars. I get every there's no perfect team. Yeah, every team I look at and I'm like, I

got a question there. I don't know about that. Is this guy gonna show up? Like what's the volume there? So and a lot of these teams, if you just switched like one or two players for someone of the same price on a different team, they could be just banging teams like like the like for example, for your one, just switching Goro with Rass just like a huge, like a huge upgrade. Or you take the Jewish team and take out take out, Honey Chin and take out because look, they

also had fourteen dollars left to spend. Take out Honey Chin, take out Arta. You could have got Hennigan and Cherish Andrews. You know, you could have got Mans and Annie and Joey Weissman. There's a lot of like one dollar roy you know, you could even got one fourteen dollar players such as I don't know, like an Eric Seidel. I'm that team would be just scary. I think probably the team that I like the most is Benny

Glazer's team. But I'm as soon as I as soon as I say that, I'm like Sernheimer is always out here playing cash games like he doesn't put Andrew Ya fifteen dollars is very and Brandon shack Hair as Brandon shack Hares did. He put on social media like, I'm gonna be playing kind of my normal schedule. I think I'm playing my best poker I've ever played, but I'm also going to prioritize my mental health. He flat outside all of that.

So is he going to be taking long stretches of days off. I mean, we know that the WSB is freaking grueling, like and I can only imagine we think it's grueling working. I can only imagine what it is to try and show up every single day and play day in, day out, ten hours if you start running bad, getting your teeth kicked in all this sort of stuff, like you know, his brand check here is just

going to kind of chill for sometimes. Who knows so then like you have questions there, so maybe he just placed the ten k's only and doesn't doesn't like every second Day Register. I mean, there's definitely not a perfect team, as you said. Um, I think my closest thing to it is the Team Jewish because and I know there is some question marks of what you

get from Artre Montrosian and Chris Unkin. But if if we get those guys in all the twenty five k's fifty ks hunter K two hundred fifty K, I can't hate that for a dollar each, right, So it's going to be an interesting sweat, that's for sure. And if they are the only team that could have literally the entire final table, that team which is like insane, right, which kind of happened last year when you had like Sammartino, Peters karay In whatever that opening event was, like the whole thing was

crazy. So you know, we'll probably get some of that. Um. I think there's some fascinating scenarios that you could put together if you're playing the ODB Fantasy League, which I think I'm probably gonna get sucked into firing a twenty five Yeah, I might be at Can I read my team to you

who I think I'm drafting here? You go ahead, all right, Chris Borough forty four dollars, Brian Rass forty three dollars, Bryce Yuki thirty four, Yuki Zoo thirty four, je Jason Mouse seven, aj Kelsel twenty four, and I got two little like if he wants, I'm either going Robert Msraki and David bakes Baker for eleven and three dollars respectively, or I'm going

Anson Sang for ten dollars in John re Ordum for four. Okay, and my bonus player, I'm basically trying to pick this team where I have like the least ownership possible, and I'm going but also that has a chance to know the bonus players. There's a whole list of bonus players who are who are the bum this year? Let me pull it up. But my bonus player I'm leaning towards right now is Nathan Gamble. Okay, I mean he's scored well over the years. Yeah, a good time. So so some

of the bonus players you know, Nathan Gamble, Jeremy Becker. Jeremy Becker gets how many bonus players are on this list? Jesus clats A bonus player. Good God, Ben Mintz is a bonus player. I also thought about Dominique sal Remember he won the I think it was the Triple Jow Mix last year. Sorry Sally, Yeah, we could see him in some of the ten k's. You never know. Um, I think I think he wants

some meltz recently, like a, there's some good names here. It's just like I'm wondering if a lot of people just go to names they know. You know, Andrew Marinos on the Yeah, I thought he's like only hold him only, So I don't want that. I want some little bit of a rise. Greg Merson coming out, I don't know I had originally I had. I basically had. Um. I mean I might be playing a bigger volume than Greg Merson. I mean, why aren't I on this list? Let me come on? Wants to be at it? I thought I

thought Valentine Vannico could be a good one. But I feel like he's ownership percentage might be hiving gambles. I don't know, I'm not really sure that's That's what I'm tossing up right now. Toby lewis same thing, but could he be golfing every day? Possibly? Yeah, I don't know how I feel about this bonus player thing. What I mean by that is, I think it's good to have it. I just I mean, right now, there's fifty three. I mean that seems like crazy high. I don't like,

shouldn't just to have some variety in the scores. If you're gonna Vodibi really thinks he has five hundred teams, it's better to have some, you know, more variant. I understand. Yeah, I think it's maybe it's he could have written in a player instead. Yeah, I don't. I don't know if I would just like cap it at like ten and some somehow, I don't. I don't know. I don't even know how I would

determine that. It's tricky, but it's gonna be fun for sure. I mean, if you're playing the ODB fantasy, might suggestion would be to, you know, try and differentiate your team from what you think the chalk is going to be, because you gotta be different to win that thing. I'm doing the complete thing that you hate, a bunch of middle scores, a bunch of middle scores that you still think are um not as chalky. Then then it's not the thing. I think Brewer Rass and Yuki and Yuki Zoo

for his good value at those numbers. I mean, I already know what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna try and find two players that are super expensive, like a hundred and then like an eighty kind of thing. Yeah, and then a bunch of cheap guys. Yeah, there's some very good cheap guys to be honest, and so we'll see how that goes. We'll see if I even get in that thing. But that said, we're gonna wrap this one up because it's one am now, uh twenty five K fantasy dot
