Hello everyone, Welcome back to a brand new episode of the Poker Girl Podcast. My name is Donny Peters. I'm joined by my guy from Duckworth. How you doing, Sarah? Good? Thank you? It's great. It was a quick, nice intro. Now you spoiled it by a whiffling? What what? What spoiled what? Just continue? I don't understand, No what, I don't understand. I don't worry about it. Move on. I'm I'm seriously confused here. I'm like, I don't know, I understand
what's going on? Um anyway, getting into the show because Tim is just confusing me. UM. Today's show fun one probably short Jason Mercier. One is six wsp goal bracelet, getting right back on the bike. We have the fifteen hundred dollar a half and half. That is the no limit hold them and pot limit. Omaha, that's gonna be flexed to the Poker Go live stream. Four Friday, June thirtieth, Robert Scholtz won the three thousand dollars no limit, hold them freeze out. That was the craziness that you
might have heard in the background of Last Nights or yesterday's episode. Super Seniors is approaching the final two tables. They're playing down over there. It looks like a little bit of a more subdued tournament than the seniors was. These guys have more more experience of being got it. This is a question that you posed revenge for Mike Madisow in the stud Highlow Championship maybe maybe six hundred dollar deep Stacked Championship is down to one hundred players. There is a stacked
field in the five KSE six Max, which is very understandable. You would expect nothing less in that tournament. You got the ploa playing down to a final table or attempting to. Today, there are three events underway today. Timput crazy mess. We'll talk about what's coming up. We had a family pot. According to Tim, he's got a family thought. We also have a hat update. Yes, hat gate, hat gate. We might be solved. As always, please like and subscribe to the podcast wherever you listen

First things first, we have the fifteen hundred dollars no limit deuced to seven single draw, a big field for this event. Five hundred forty eight entries more than one hundred and fifty one
thousand dollars up top for the winner. And that winner is somebody who has been in the WSP winner circle several times before, none other than Jason Mercier winning his sixth WSP goal bracelet again first place prize one hundred and fifty one thousand, two hundred and seventy eight dollars. Mercier got his start winning WSP
gold back in two thousand and nine. He won a fifteen hundred dollars pot limit Omaha event for two hundred and thirty seven thousand, two eleven, he won a five K pot limit Omaha event six handed version for six hundred nineteen thousand. Then in two thousand and fifteen he won the five thousand dollars no limit hold Them six handed for six hundred and thirty three thousand. Then in
two thousand and sixteen and he won two bracelets. He won the ten k no lim Induces seven single job for two hundred and seventy three k, and he won the ten k horse for four hundred and twenty two thousand. I believe right after that he came in second in another event. Yea. That was that the year that he was trying to win three goal bracelets in a year. He had a bet with the n SS helps and he almost pulled
it off. It was incredible. Um so he's won now the he's won six goal bracelets, but two of them are he won the fifteen hundred dollars Nolduces fifty hundred dollars nolam Aduce seven single draw and the ten k noleman hold him induced seven single draw. In the modern era, I don't believe anyone has done that because the modern era no just for the deuce event, just for the deuce event. I mean Chad eve Sledge did it earlier this summers Benny Glasses Yeah, yeah, no, no, for I'm just talking about
the Duce. And which kind of a coincidental is that when he won in twenty and sixteen, when he won the ten thousand dollars Nolam Aduces seven single draw, he beat Mike Watson, Yeah, who he beat this year? Same variant, yep, different buying deja vu, yeah, deja vu. Afterwards I spoke with Jason mercer Or about the win, you know, getting back on that horse. So we'll play that interview for you now. All right, Jason Mercier, it's been seven years since you've been back in the
Devisity winner circle. Does it feel like riding a bike getting right back on
and landing yourself another bracelet? It does, to be honest, you know, especially the fact that I was playing no Limit Deuce, which is like one of my favorite games, and heads up against Watson sidell at the final table John Turner, you know, I mean, it was just it's very like an eerie experience playing this tournament and going deep and you know, getting heads up against Watson, who I beat in the ten Kduce seven years ago, so it's pretty cool. Happy to get the win and happy to get
my six bracelet. Yeah. Speaking of Mike Watson, there, he's been close many times. You mentioned that heads up in twenty sixteen. You guys have also been three handed a whole bunch of times. I mean, the guys gets there but can't get it done. You know, what kind of what do you have to say about Mike Watson. He's an excellent player and he can get it done. I mean he's he's gotten first in a bunch of tournaments before exactly. Um, so I think it's there's so much variants
in these tournaments. The fact that I have six bracelets and he has zero is kind of insane. Uh. You know, we're very equal in skill. Uh, maybe not exactly equal, but you know what I'm saying, he's he's a good player, so uh but yeah, I mean him and John Turner are probably two of the best to have never won one, and they were both at the final table. So I had to had to stop him both, you know, and get it done myself. What is it about douce that allows you to have so much success in this game? Uh?
You know, it's just one of the purest forms of poker, especially for a tournament. So, uh, you know, I've been playing the no limit deuce tournaments since two thousand and eight, kind of fell in love with the game shortly after I had any success in no limit, and I've been working on my game. I feel like I have a very good grasp of how to navigate the nole emit deuced tournaments, and I'm looking forward to going and hopping in the ten k. How does one work on a no
limitduced game if there's not that much available around the world whole year. I mean, you can definitely try to talk to somebody that One of the best things to do when you're trying to get better is find somebody that's already better than you and talk to them about hands. So, I mean, I definitely tried to pick Nick Schulman's brain whenever I had the chance about deuce and yo, hey, by the way, let me ask you a question about
this hand whatever. And he's one of the best there is, so I mean, not that I've done too much of that with him, but you know, that's always helpful to, like, you know, pick somebody's brain that's a genius at whatever variant you're trying to get better at, you're going to keep chasing bracelets these next couple of years. I mean, how important are they to you? How high do you want to go all that sort of stuff. To be honest, they're not that important to me. It's
more about, you know, having success or winning money or whatever. So I don't really have some sort of crazy itch to like win a bunch of bracelets. You know, I'm just gonna play whatever cash game or WSP event is available when I have time. How do you want to be remembered in poker as the greatest there ever was? Bro? All right? That was Jason Mercier. So now going back to what we talked about yesterday and and rich Ryan's he tweeted it out. Yeah, I mean, is Jason gonna
be the guy who catches Phil Helmet first? So now he wins his sixth. He caught up with Jeremy Osmas, who won his sixth earlier this summer. He caught up with Sean Deep, who won his six earlier this summer. Now he's flying back to Florida. He's gonna sit on the beach with his kids. No bet that's going to hop in the ten k probably, but he's still only gonna play for seven events a year. I'm very hard
for him to catch. Yeah, I mean if he if he wants to, if he's gonna go wanting seven every year, then sure, I'll give it to Jason. But that's you know, hotter than we think. Yeah, yeah, no, it's a well, I mean, we'll see. I mean, he certainly has the talent to do so yeah, we'll probably come down to a volume thing for him. But then again, I mean, how big of a volume do you have to get if you are that good and you are playing the events where your chances are good in terms of
field size. You know, he's gonna play the stuff that isn't five thousand player fields other than the main event. You know, I don't think he's out there grinding the millionaire makers at this point in his career. You know, he's gonna play a lot of the ten K championship events, you know, the big buying PLO events, all that sort of stuff. So we'll see how it goes. We had we had that conversation yesterday about who's gonna be who could be the person who catches Phil you first? So if you
miss that. I would encourage you to go back and listen to yesterday, yesterday's episode if you check that out. If we go, let's pretend it's twenty thirty, two thirty years and Phil Halma still has sixteen, Jason has six. All these guys have six and five, And when you have this conversation again, I would probably been on Jason because these kids will be, you know, all about to go to like university or whatever, graduate and he might be playing full schedules. But right now, for the next who
knows, five to eight years, he's gonna play a limited schedule. Yeah, I mean, we'll see how it goes. I mean, it's gonna be super interesting to see what sort of volume he puts in going forward. You know, even if we get ten to fifteen events from him, just a player of that caliber every single year. I think that that's gonna be fun. That's going to certainly heat up that bracelet race fifteen hundred dollars half and half also known as the fifteen hundred dollar Noelman hold Them Slash, Potlam
and Almaha. They're down to nine players from a field of two thousand and seventy six entries, more than four hundred and ten thousand dollars four first place. Ran Carmi has thirty percent of the chips in play. That is bananas. Wow, he just dropped a little. He just dumbled someone out, but still he still has still very healthy Upeshka Da Silva still in the mix.

The three thousand dollars no limit holding freeze out nearly sixteen hundred entries, fifteen hundred ninety eight. Robert Schultz wins it all six hundred and seventy five
thousand, two hundred and seventy five dollars for mister Schultz. That was, of course the event guests today that we heard within twenty thirty feet of us. That was quiet, quite loud, but Robert Schultz is the one who comes out on top. There. We got the one thousand dollars Super Seniors about twenty three? Is that what that's left over there? Maybe a little less now, okay, three thousand, one hundred twenty one entries in this
one over three hundred and seventy one thousand dollars from first place. They returned from the dinner break with Farhad Davoud Zadeh Had I had to I as soon as I saw it there, I was like, he put this one into a challenge. Yeah, I think I at it. I mean it was a good effort. Yeah, I mean you couldn't do any better. So it doesn't matter. UM ten thousand dollars Stud High Low Championship, the one thousand dollars Super Seniors that's going to finish tomorrow as the plan ten thousand dollar
Stud Highlow Championship on hundred and forty one entries. UM last night they got into the money. I believe it was Alex Livingston bubbling the tournament. He was both the end the ground his lug when he bubbled. Oh yeah, and if you watched it today, I did not watch it today. Background. Wow, I had a had an appointment this morning. He had to get some garage storage set up. Oh little racks. The racks like my recommendation. Finally, what do you mean you're I mean you said maybe.
I said. We had episodes. We were talking about this and I was like, he's like, you'll like I need to get those. I'm like, yeah, yeah, to go to rack Musses. Now, I did get You're gonna get the falls. Huh the falls. No, I'm not getting I'm not that rich. I'm trying to play more poker this summer and then and then we'll figure out the floor um later on. So the events down to twelve, the ten thousand dollars stud Highlow Championship more than three hundred
forty four thousand dollars to first place. Chino Reem, David China, Chino, not David Reem, is leading the way, even though if you look on WSP dot com and poking news dot com, for whatever reason, they have him listed as Chino or sorry, David Ream and only David Ream, which is just not true because ever since we've been in we've been in poker, he's been Chino Rem, like just forever. I mean he's he's literally Chino Rem ONWSAP dot com. He won the PCA as Chinorem. I don't
think he's anything other than anyway I digress Um. He's leading the way. Who else is in? Well, we know Mike mass I was in. Is he still in Bruno for Tusi's got some chips, we got bring Kenny on the short side, Calvin Anderson, Eddie Bloomenthal, Nicholas, Eddie Bloomenthal is good, Andres korn, Ja Viira, Ryan Miller, and great chaits grinding that short stack on that feature table over there, So there you go.
I mean, it'd be really funny to see not funny, but good to see Mike mass out, you know, try and go for another bracelet. And it's also just it's funny that it would be happening in stud Hilo, is what I meant to say. I'm only on team chain of for this one. Yeah, I mean, Gino's an absolute crusher, you know. He when he's when his head is on straight and he's performing extremely well,
He's one of the best in the game for sure. They were supposed to finish it today the schedule, and don't think there's any chance that that's happening, especially with it being ninety minute levels, limit structure and split pots. Um. Where did Daniel mcgranne finished his first out seventeenth place? Um? Other players eliminated today, John Showman, Front of the Podcast, Dan Colpoys, Dies Michiobas and Crazy Mike Thorale. Okay, okay, it's been
a quiet summer for Daniel overall. Daniel and Phil Well I would say the three biggest Daniel, Phil and Phil, Daniel mcgranni, Phil Ivy and Philhameth do they have one hundred thousand dollars in cashes between them like combined? Yeah, Ivy has it by himself. What is that? But like, oh, d something one hundred and forty. I don't know why I thought he'd bubbled he bubbled the final, bubbled, he bubbled the other tournament. He bubbled the hundred k Oh, that's what it was. That's what it was.
I got my mind messed up. Yes, that is no, that is correct. Yeah. So but but you know, for their standards, and I think for what people expect of them, quiet summer so far. That said, there is a ton of stuff still to go. Um kind of like on the immediate horizon, we got the fifty thousand dollars Plo high Roller, which both the Grand New and Helmy once got second and third in
behind Jeremy Austen a couple of years ago. So, and I also want to say that I have been over the last couple of years extremely impressed with Daniel the Grand New and pot Limit Omaha. I don't know why. I just never thought of him as like a pot limit Omaha guy. For sure. I had always thought of him, you know, years ago as limit hold them right, because that was the game he came up playing. Then he's always done well in No Limit Hold Him. You know, there's obviously
the most tournaments in the world and No Limit Hold him. And then I've always just kind of thought of him as like any of the ten K mixed events he's gonna do well in. You know, we talked about it yesterday with the stud high Low. He said that's his favorite game, but he's done extremely well in PLO. He had that run earlier this summer in the fiftylo Um. I just referenced the fifty KPLO high Roller. You know, for whatever the PLO, the PGTPLO series. First of an he gets second
in like stuff like that. I'm just like I didn't. I wouldn't think of danon m'coni as a PLO player like on the front of my mind, you know, I wouldn't say, like like Josh r, I'm like PLO, you know, Ben Lamp PLO player. But Daniel seems to crush PLO, which is kind of crazy in a weird way. I'd say, if he when the next time he wins a bracelet, um, it's gonna be PLO. That's what I'm gonna call right now. Speaking of PLO, just jumped to that one, fifteen hundred dollar PLO high low. There's about fifty
one entries left. That field was eleven twenty five two hundred and fifty nine thousand, five hundred forty nine dollars for first place. We had a couple guys for our twenty five kay fantasy team. We're in there. They min cash, so we'll take it. Oh, good enough. Nick Wa genty is over there doing well. He's trucking along. I see Romie Bukai over there trucking along. So we'll see how that one goes. As that one progresses, I think the plan today and that one is played out to the
final table. Come back tomorrow, final table, or as close as possible. Yeah, come back tomorrow and finish it out. Six hundred dollars Deep Stack Championship, forty three hundred and three entries. There is two hundred and seventy one thousand dollars for first place. About one hundred and eight players left
on the dinner break. Who are some of the stacks in that one in which one the six hundred dollar Deep Stack Championship, Not a lot of I went and looked at it not a lot of people that we would recognize. Steven Stolzenfeld is the chip later up? Um? Joey Banks, Joseph hey Bear? Is that hey Bear? Hey Bear? Who to be online? Twenty twenty? I know, but I can't. I'm trying to think what they called him. Manzamani's still in a few, a few names here and
there. I'm not sure how accurate these chip counts are. I mean close enough, Yeah, close enough? You know? Um, we have the five thousand dollars, no them and hold him six handed? Almost two thousand entries in this freaking thing? Is that? Is that right? One thousand nine? That's right, That's what I says. No, do you want to bet on it? There's no way that's to what it says. What do you want me? Where does it say that I'm the prize pool?
No? I can't. I can't imagine that's right. I'm gonna look up on my broom Bravo right now because I thought the clock said something different. Unless I was looking clock does say something different. And I saw a tweet from WSAP from keV Matthew himself saying how many players it at final numb in the event sixty five. So wait one one nine nine. Wait what is the Rundown Hunt one thousand, nine nine. Yeah, it's one one nine nine. See, I mean it's just one extra digit. Bro. You
basically doubled the field with that digity. Okay, I mean what are you doing here? But that event last year I believe was sub one thousand. I think it was around eight hundred or so. Um, if you want to look that up for me, can you please do that because I just want to reference how big of a turnout it was for this year. Um, Day two read this year, for this event, they got things started off about thirty to forty minutes late because they had more than one hundred day
two late one hundred and seven late registrants. Yeah, they had nine twenty lass yea yeah, so I mean just crushing, yeah, you know, just out of control. And also this event drew extremely well with a thirty five hundred four million dollars guarantee that kicked off yesterday and has multiple starting fights over at the win yep. You know. So this number is amazing to me just about you know, um, but yeah, I mean that's just
absolutely wild. First place is almost a million, nine hundred and thirty eight thousand dollars. There's about one hundred and sixty six players. You don't give or take a handful left as they try and get closer to the money. I don't think they're in the money yet, right close, all right, hundred Oh, they're on the money on unde paid. So if they're down two hundred and eighty six, then they are in the money as long as
that number is correct. Look at this, no hand for hand was necessary because as they were asking the dealers to hold up with the current hand that they were playing, a hand that took place ended up getting it all in, sending someone home. And that is that so right into the miscount maybe right into them, I mean, yeah, you never know. Looks like William Sandford is the chip leader currently. You get Bruno Bernardino is up there, V tours of Levski, Fabrice Bijoux. I played with him in the
three kum Good Player became third place at EPT Paris earlier this year. Our guy mister Haddukin. No Zoomu Shimizu is up there, justin Liberto, who's had a pretty good summer is up there. Tyler Cornell in there, Matt Burkey, Ryan Lang Nick Memon, phil Ivy looks like phil Ivey's trending upwards. Like just as I said, it hasn't been the best summers for Ivy, Helmuth and the Grand New Here we have mister Ivy trending up there we
go, what about Ivy? David bakes Baker, I see you out there in the field, Anatony Philiptop haven't seen him all summer, but it looks like he's out there in the field as well. So yeah, this one is always like one of my favorite events to watch play down because it's just
full of the killers, you know. So we'll see how that one goes as it plays on Ford to that nine hundred and thirty thousand dollars first place prize underway today we have the one thousand dollars Ladies Championship fing crossed about the whole men playing the Ladies thing. We haven't heard anything all day. So we haven't heard anything. I feel like we're because I feel like every year it becomes this massive thing. Yeah, you know, every year it's the
same thing. You get a handful of these guys that try and play it or whatever. There was one problem with this event today. Haven't heard that, Okay, go ahead, they were split up? What do you mean there was there was some players in Paris, there were some players in Horseshoe. That was the big negative complaints all over social media today that what does that matter? That happens for a lot of tournaments, you know, But the ladies event is, like, you know, it's a very special event
for them. They love it, love to come together a lot of like you know, you know, the you know, the atmosphere that comes with it. They will want to be in the same room. They all want to be together playing And that was the only thing that kind of upset a lot of ladies on social media. But today's a big day. You know, we're going to touch on some of the other events going on today. It's a little hard. What's the what's the capacity of that other room?
Is the Grand Ball? I mean, I don't have the flaw plan on me, but I could probably find it. But yeah, but could they fit them all in that room or is it yes, yeah, one hundred percent? Okay, Well then yeah, they should have put the five k somewhere else maybe, Yeah, that's fine. I mean there was a lot of stuff going on. Yes, whatever you have the one K super Turbo Bounty. You wrote craziness with registration you played in this? Oh my god,
what was the craziness? What's going on? I got to hear thirty minutes earlier. I thought that was enough time. I bought my ticket on Bravo poke a live swiped at the Kiosk thirty minutes out and I had late registration. I'm like, this has got to be a joke, right, Maybe it's just like they miscounted the seats or whatever. Any I walk over to Paris and I'm waiting in line behind maybe thirty people. If you want to go check Twitter. I think Kevin Math twitter a picture of me looking
on sad. But we were waiting. I was waiting in line. There's only thirty people, so it wasn't going to be that bad. I thought they were just going to open them up more tables. Twelve o'clock comes, cards are not in the air, twelve fifteen cards and not in the air. Then they make an announcement players gone, you know, come back at twelve thirty. Now what was happening was the ladies was going on break and they had to do a bracelet ceremony for the guy that won the online bracelet
Ryan and Riki's or whatever's in that too. So they came back to I did way better with the name earlier than you just do with Eric. Give me some Australian names like Jim smith Um and so we come back. We do the Bracest ceremony. I'm still waiting in line, ladies, event cards are in the air. Bracest Ceremonies over. Still no cards in the air for the super Turber Bounty. Maybe ten minutes goes past. Finally, about forty five minutes later we start playing. Our line is ain't moving people.
We're all on the rail watching hands like I think secretly, everyone's waiting and hoping people bust. So then get in right, someone bust And then the whole rails like Seed open, Seed open, come and get the sticket. And eventually we already knew that Purple was going to open soon, and you see dealers sitting in Purple, and finally the line just starts going crazy. I sit down in Well, now if anyone is you know, being here
and understands what I'm talking about. Purple is normally where they do the high rollers, and it's a smaller table with big chairs and they made us play ten hand as I was really squashed. But if you look out the doors, you know the doors to leave Paris, right there, that's where the line was. To the line, if you can imagine, went from the bracest ceremony desk out to the registration round the corner all the way back up
to Paris, and as we sat people were still there. And then in about thirty minutes it just started going, just started moving, started seating everyone. But just to start off with the lack of dealers, the delays, it was just I mean, I understand, and I think overall, like I haven't seen that many lines really all summer long up until the last two
days. Saw line obviously for the six Hundrellar Deep Stack Championship, and we heard about how that one was, you know, two hours or so to wait in that line and get through, and then you know, you reference this line today. I wasn't here this early, so I didn't see it, but I did hear some people talking about it. But other than that, I feel like all the lines have been pretty quick, even for like
the gladiators. Yeah, you know, like I mean, I was expecting gladiators like I've talked about it before on this podcast, Like you know, when is the best time to register? I would always do like the night before usually if you're going to register. This year, I am using the Bravo Poker Live and the TBIC and you know, all that sort of stuff to make things easier. But like the times I've had to go through registration where there's to put more money on my account or whatever, it's been really
quick. I mean even today we just went in there. You came with me, Yeah, ten minutes and we were through a line of like twenty twenty five people, not that, not that. Just to wrap up the Supertoba Bounty. We were over there maybe what thirty minutes ago. Yeah, walking the field, saw some friends of the podcasts and they actually paused the
tournament mid level to take their dinner break early. And it seems like looking at the updates on WSP dot com, you know they're saying that um early dinner break just to basically double check the open seats, make sure they're not too close of the money. Uh but yeah, so fun, fun event today for some of these people that are still in you know, what they
need to do in poker tournaments. Is you know when you drive into a parking garage and they have those lights green and red lights that if someone's in there in there, but even those are messed up. I'm going to turn into one and you see a little any convertible and you're like, get the you know, that's what we need for poker. We need like there need to be ready, seat open and the floor walks and gets the seat. That's how we do it. Yeah, no, of course, Oh oh
ready, you're ready for this poker Atlas. I mean it's all done on the tables. They're all connected. I understand, but listen, it is what it is. Ten thousand dollars NOLM to do seven single draw over sixty and two is already you and I walk the field over there quickly, um as you would expect, small but very elite field. You know, I'm assuming we're going to get people. I didn't see Daniel in the garny over
there yet. Um I didn't not either, and he is currently not in the chip counts, but he he kind of ran deep today in the in the tent case duds are probably gonna This one is one you could definitely come tomorrow. This one normally gets a lot of late entrance. Well, you got people like Phil Ivy. I would expect that he's still in the five six match, so um so yeah, I mean we'll see how that one goes. You got some deuced to seven legends in there, Billy Backs.
I didn't see Jason Mercier and there friend, so he was in there, as far as albon Yadi was over there. Sean Dieb was over there, Alex Livingston was over there, carry Katz was over there. So you know that one will be a fun one. The ship away. Yeah, Sean Schikan was in there as well. Tomorrow we have day one A of the Colossus. I will be in there trying to talk, trying to talk Tim and to go into play, but he's just over the awful. He's over
the summer. I'm don I'm retiring before we go on. Why don't you tell us what happened in the Super Turbo firsthand? I basically I want to say one thing quickly about the Super Turbo Bounty. I think that they should go away from using the name Super Turbo because I think it's I think it makes people think that it's just an absolute shit show, which I guess for a dubisop event, it might be that said it's twenty minute levels, you get how many chips did you start with? Yeah, I mean it's it's
like any like daily tournament. Yeah yeah, but it's probably a better structure than the South Point Nightly. I understand it's a super turbo for the DUP, but I wonder if some people look at it and say, like, yes, I agree, I'm just gonna be all in every hand, Like, no, you don't, You're not all in every hand. I mean I thought, how it is I agree with you that? So I mean is there like is there? Because I do think they're generally pretty good.
Um, the officials with coming up with kind of these like gimmicky names, so like could you just find some sort of gimmicky name, could just be one day the one day bounty or something like yeah, you know, so continue on anyway, fast hand had sixes flop, the set got some chips, and so you're running hot out of the gate straight away. I was like, oh, here it is. I'm finally it's finally turning around. And I didn't play a hand for like an hour and a half, which
felt like forever. I probably had a chance at a bounty with seven deuce if I called that raise out of the big blind. But whatever, um, I mean, I don't, I don't. I told you, I don't call that. Well, I'll tell I'll tell people the hand. Some guy Agro Spanish kid makes a four bigs from mental positions. Small blinds all in for three bigs, and I have seven duces off in the big blind, so I had to call nine hundred more, but I have thirty k
So it's like a weirds forward. It doesn't really affect how much chips. I mean, especially with your descriptor of the original razor. I put little chance that he's checking it down with you. Yeah, so like what are you gonna do exactly? And I mean you're gonna check. He's just gonna bet like Queen Hie, you're gonna have to fold your pair of sevens. Yeah on like the jack seven four. I mean, I'm probably not fine, okay, oh yeah, but you're a little different too, And for
me, it's about time. Let's go Middle Paris, small all the way to the river. Small mine had six nine officer. The raiser had ten seven officer. That came Jack nine douce four deuce, so I would have made trips, but the ten seven with a you know, you know, some backdoors straight jaws and wouldever probably would have tried to bet me out and maybe I do fold on the turn, but that was my one chance at about it. And then otherwise I got in twenty four bigs with Ace Queen
against nines and he held up, what are you gonna do? Yeah, gotta wine. Now I'm retiring. There you gone, there you go. My wife will be happy. Okay, speaking of what's coming up, I talked about day one eight of the classes on Friday. I'm gonna try and get out there in battle. I think I'm gonna go get my ticket tonight
so I can avoid any lines. The only problem with the getting your ticket tonight thing, and this is a very minor, like I think I know what you're gonna say is that you have to make sure that you're here on times. That's why I didn't register last night. Yeah, I wasn't sure I was gonna bean. I've been here on time ever every time, so it's not it's not that big of a deal. But I'm just saying, and like it, it does make it so you do have to be punctual
with it. You have the fifty thousand dollars pot limit Omaha high Roller. They're running a five kse satellite in the other room. We saw Dylan Wiseman out there playing that five case satellite. I'm sure a bunch of the crushers are trying to get in on the cheap and then will ultimately play it anyway. That one's going to be a ton of fun to watch play out. And I'm assuming with the way that these big polo tournaments have been going again.
The ten k PLO Championship had seven hundred and seventy one entries, which was a record setter. The twenty five PLO high Roller had four hundred and forty nine entries, which was way more than the two hundred and sixty four that it had a year prior. And then this one. I expect it to be bananas. You and I have. I have the over of one hundred and sixty one. Are you sure we set that number? We did? We could play the tape. It's gonna be a big how many entries?
One sixty one? All right, I'll take the over. Let's get nine. I don't care. I got the over. Let's go Bebe. On Saturday, we're gonna have Day one B of the classes. Hopefully I'm not playing that because I just backup Bazilion Chips tomorrow. And then you have also on Saturday, the twenty five Big Bet and Mix. I feel like that is a tournament you would love. You should get out there. Um Family pot So let's play a little jingle here, Tim has a family poppet.
I gotta tell a little bit of a story. It's kind of a blend of community cards slash family pot Um. So you know, I mean, we'll just do what we can. So I'm standing on I get in today. I got I got in a little late. As I said, I was doing the whole racks thing on the garage, you know whatever.
I'm standing on the rail um like kind of browsing on my phone, just kind of seeing what's going on around the room, and a gentleman comes kind of close to me, and I'm in my head's in my phone, so I'm not like paying attention to him directly, but I can tell that he's like facing me, ready to talk to me. Yeah, okay, fine whatever. So I look at him. He goes, excuse me, are you a like media member or whatever he said, and he like kind of pointed to my badge and I said, yeah, kind of, what's up?
He said, Well, he launched into a story that I immediately thought was about to be a bad beat story. So he goes, so, I'm playing the six hundred all our deep stack. My table is five handed. I'm the only our table is the only table that's five handed, you know, within like my immediate area. I'm like, okay, And I immediately in my head, I'm like, you're ready. It's gonna be like the worst bad beat ever. How do I get out of this, you know whatever. He goes, I'm in the big blind. I go,
it's gonna get him better. He goes, the player under the gun limps. I'm like, oh my god, you know, and then he's like, the next player limped, the next player limb, small blind limped, and I check. So it was a family pot. He sticks his hand out to shake my hand, introduces himself. His name was John Harris. Shout out John, was it was incredible? He did ask? He said, was it the best family pot like password that that's been given? I said, I said to him, I said, listen for me. Yes,
but somebody did sing the jingle to tim. I wasn't there, so I can't confirm how good or bad it was. That said this one was very good. Yea, I love it. I thought you were about to tell me a bad beat story and I was about to try and get the hell out of here, like fake answer my phone or something, but shout out John. Absolutely love it, Thank you very much. Um. He gave us a rating on Spot up Eye while I was right there, beautiful. I watched him do it. I think I actually clicked the button for
him. So yeah, of course I just had to check, you know, I just you know, all right, So what's your story? Remember when you were a kid growing? I remember a lot of stuff. I was a kid. What's up? And you were like, I'm sick of the way my bedroom looks. I want to move the bed over to this corner, you know. I want to put this poster here. I want to put this poster there. I want to move my desk over here. So a couple of days ago, I wake up. It's it's we had
a late night. I think it got up at like ten am, and my wife says, Jade needs your help. I'm like, oh, my god, what fall? She goes, She just she just needs your help. So she comes downstairs and she's like best friend, best friend. I'm like, oh my god, what the hell do you want. She's like, I need you to help me fix my posters. I'm like what. I walk upstairs. She's like, come on, come on, please help
me. I walk upstairs. She's completely reorganized her bedroom beds from one side to the other, desk is everything is in a different spot, and she's like, can you you know, like she's got a big Taylor Swift thing the frame that's that's mounted. She's like, can you move that to this side? And can you move this to this side? So I'm like, go get the hammer, Go get the what's it called when your patch holes? Go get that stuff. So I'm moving stuff around and then I have
to patch the holes. And she's like, oh, by the way, I have like twelve things coming, posters and stuff you need to frame for me. I'm like, where's it gonna go? She's like, on this war I want to put some stuff here. I'm trying to redecorate. I'm like, you're really killing me. And now I have to paint the where the holes are where I patched him. So obviously different color to the white that is in the paint. So now I have to paint as well, and how far with that? She's of all the time to do it?
World Series is probably not the best time she could have, you know, maybe waited three more weeks until the World Series was over, could have knocked out in one day. So she's driving me crazy. I need school back. I mean it's it's only like the beginning of summer, so you know it feels like you're for school to be back. I mean it's gonna be a while. Yeah, So that was my start of the week, patching holes, hanging picture frames everywhere. Now she ordered a bunch of stuff that
I have to hang and frame and probably print for her as well. So this is you know, about ten years you get. This is what you get for being such a good framer of different items. I mean, you constantly are doing it for the company. You're constantly doing it for the podcast gifts, all that sort of stuff, frame and felt that you know our fans more than the Duckworth frame shop. No, I'm definitely not what you should do, no chance. Okay, Um, all right, well that's
gonna do it for us. We ain't got no much more to talk about, so we're gonna get out of here. Make it nice and easy. Um again. Um, I'm gonna be playing the Colossus tomorrow. Hopefully Tim changes his tune gets out there. Come on, I'll take ten percent. Get out there. We'll have a blast. It'll be a lot of fun. Such a baby, ask me tomorrow exactly. Let's go. All right, that's gonna do it for us. My name is Donny Peters, his name is Tim Duckworth, and we'll talk to you guys later. Baa explad
