Hello, everyone, Welcome back to a new episode of the poker Go Podcast. My name is Donney Peters. His name is Tim Duckworth. July ninth, just wrapped up Day forty three at the twenty twenty four World Series of Poker. Day three of the WSP main event is in the books. The field is twenty to twenty five players off the money bubble could be a little less than that. We don't have the official numbers yet, but right around there. So tomorrow is a big, big day. It is money Bubble
Day in the biggest and greatest tournament in the world. Fifteen and seventeen players at least, that's the planned number of places that will reach a cash fifteen thousand dollars min cash, everyone remaining still alive for the ten million dollar first place prize. Tim and I are going to talk about that, of course, and then there were a couple other things that we do need to hit on. We'll leave those to the end of the show, but main events
front and center. Baby, Just like we like it, as always, please like and subscribe to the podcast, leave a review, send that review into podcasts at PokerGO dot com via a screenshot, a photo, whatever you got to do. Get you entered into the giveaway? Can you draw two winners? Sir? Yeah, go no, no, no, pick what we're giving away first before we draw. I don't know because I could cheat it. I could be like, ah, this is I don't know. I don't know. What did we do? We gave the two cards and
then we did the two Yeah, I don't know. I never I never know what we're giving away. We need the shop and I don't think I actually sent that out, So I do. Mike Chaffetz, you're twenty to five dollars, give cod and my fight twenty five doll Why don't we annule it back up, back up to the annuel we got, and we're not going back up to an annual with this kid. Let's do what's something weird? Something weird? Don't we have a bracelet? Don bracelet? Podcast bracelet,
leather bracelet like a leather like? No, let's do I don't know why I keep thinking of Jeff Platt. So let's do two of the dim the Lights shirts that we have in the shop. Sure, I have no idea what those are, but let's I'm pretty sure they're in the shop. Let me, let me look right now. Okay, why shop folker girl dot com. Yeah, dim the lights here, so to do a lot of T shirts. We'll have to figure out how to actually execute that.
But what do you mean we're just going to tell the shop people decended to get the address, to get the address. He's a game, pick the winners. What are the numbers out to do? Let's go from three to randomizer here, let's go three to Shure ninety eight four God Fox, he Low, Dave Wait, Eugene Poland from Kangaroo Crew. Wow, I send it to Australia. That's fine, he wins. We'll figure that out. We'll figure it out. Wait, wait, let me just make a nose.
I don't mess this up. Five, five, four or five alex Anders hopefully not Kangaroo Crew. Remember Alexanders, Eugene Poland, dimler lights T shirt come in your way. I'm gonna email you tomorrow because email them and get their address, get their their address, get your size and we'll send that out to the other two guys. Yeah, I are your gift cart that's coming tomorrow. Two. I've been pretty bad today. I'd be pretty lazy. I've been doing other stuff, just not today. Just you know
what it was. I knew we weren't making the money today and I completely lost interest. Why because we weren't making the money. So I I knew we weren't making the money, Yes, but I didn't care. It's the doubest premion event. It doesn't matter. This is the best event in the world. The best part about today. The best part about today is you got million chip stacks. That was the best part. You know how, I was so goddamn close to catching that hand. I was over at Ardenchow's
table and Donovan Dean had eight hundred and seventy thousand. He's playing three bet partt against fucking Sergio Castelluccio. The most we thought Anton Morgansern was so cogressive. Nuts. Sergio's nuts. He doesn't look like the way already yet, he doesn't look like he'd be nuts, but he's nuts. Three bet part he's three bet the big blind. Sergio called fop Bett called the turn bet
and it didn't go his way. There and Antonio was filming it. We could have filmed the first play to a million chips, because isn't it like there's only two benchmarks. I think a million and one hundred million. That's ten million, a million, ten million. No, I don't care about it. What okay, hold on, hold hold, hold on, Okay. You are out here being like it's gonna be the two hundred and seven million first place prize dollar. So and you're now you're gonna you're gonna talk
to me about benchmarks. No, get yourself f Seriously, this is the two hundred and seven million, five hundred thousand dollars you know for first place prize money in w ZIP history. No no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. One million, ten million, fifty million, no, one hundred million. I mean I don't even ten you have to add more? Think you I don't think you know, I don't think because at the point of the tournament you get to one hundred million,
Like, I don't think it necessarily. When does somebody get to a hundred million when there's two tables left, three tables on the table is the final table? I mean you could go on like you could have a sick chip lead, you know. Yeah, either way, we nearly caught her on video though. That would be a pretty coolviol moment for Twitter and the pot and then Gunnovan Dane jump down a six fifty ish and but you're saying you thought we could have caught on a video, so we didn't catch it
on video. No, we had it, but he didn't win the pot. He lost the pot. Oh oh yeah, I gotta got it. So but anyway, yeah, I'll send the winner is out tomorrow. Cool. All right, so Day three of the WSOP main event, a little bit over thirty six hundred. I need to interrupt this. What I'm sending the emails to our winners of the T shirts. And we know Eugene close friend of mine. I didn't know it was a close friend of yours. Yeah, he won the T shirt. We're gonna send you a show. I
pull up, Alexanders. I'm going to read you the email just submitted this Spotify five star revi. You guys love your show. From a Kangaroo crew member in Melbourne, Australia. I send every morning here about two pm, Vegas time. Catching up on yesterday's play. Donny, good luck in the main event? Run Tim, wake up to t shirt? How do you pick the two guys that live the furthest possible place? Away scored the list by like country? No, no, I promise it's in a certain order.
I cannot reveal the order, but it's definitely not country. I mean, what it's my day, but whatever it's it's fine. How did you do? That's like freaky though? All right, Day three of the WSP main event. Before Tim rudely cut me off. Apologies. Just over thirty six hundred players began. There is approximately fifteen hundred and forty remaining. That's what the clock says, but that could be off by a few here or there. We will get the official number overnight. We'll even see if the
official number comes in at some point while we are on the show. Right now, it's one twenty am in the morning on Wednesday, July tenth. The fifteen forty is extra important because the large majority of them are going to find their way into the money as fifteen hundred and seventeen places cash min cash fifteen thousand dollars. So if that fifteen forty is correct, then twenty three players are going to go home empty handed tomorrow. But as all, what
chop it chop it up? What's the chop value right now? Can you do the chop value right now? I was the mist lossy if I feel wait, oh my god, and what's the child value? What's the price? That should be your thing you should jokingly tweet out like every day like hey WSB main event players just want to let you guys know, if you chop right now, you get X. I mean it's ninety four million in the price school sixty one K, yeah, sixty one K. Let's go
everyone go home, everyone go home. Chip later if you'll flipping flipping gun dip and go for it for sure, I'm tweet this right now. Yeah, I'll say it tomorrow morning. I forget who somebody somebody on Twitter and I follow them and I should know who it is. But they always tweet the ICM values like every single day. The I forget that no, no, no, of like just like basically of like how many chips you have, So they'll be like, okay, if you a five hundred K,
your value is this, you know, it's like approximate value. I forget who it is and I'm sorry, I'm forgetting you, and I follow you anyways. That man, So twenty three players, as long as that fifteen forty remaining is right, are gonna go home empty handed. But as we know, the bubble boy always gets a seat to next year's management bushit. So in a way, the bubble Boy, at least if it's the same as past years, won't be fifteen. The bubble Boy won't be fifteen eighteen.
It'll be fifteen nineteen. That's like the true bubble boy. So we'll see how it goes. Scoring for the laugh. Francisco Perez Moreno leading the way with two million, one hundred and eighty seven thousand. That is a crap ton of chips, like second in chips. Justin Datloff one million, eight hundred and nineteen thousand for him, Maselo Tadou Aziz Junior one million, six hundred ninety seven thousand, Samuel Dusgan one million, six hundred eight thousand,
Matt Stout one million, six hundred and seventy thousand. I was in chips in the bag for at our friend Ben Ludlow today he did yeah back race, Oh yeah, yeah. I actually caught up with Stout after play. We had a lengthy conversation. Hopefully we can sort out the audio issues that we were having because the tournament staff was constantly announcing about the bags, which I get at the end of the nights. But yeah, talk to Matt Stout about his day, how he's feeling, how he kind of keeps
himself focused and all that stuff. So let's just throw that interview in right now and then we'll get back to it all right. Matt Stout one point sixty seven is that what's in the bag there? That's in the bag you have to huh, I'll take it. I'll take you. I started this last level with four hundred and sixty three or something, so it was for the people out there that was three K six K Okay, yeah, I started. I would not that I was feeling shitty yet. I'm sorry.
No, we can say whatever you want. It's the podcast. It's fine, oh okay, not that I was feeling terrible about four hundred and sixty three D or whatever I had. But I went on a pretty ridiculous At the end of the day, I got one bluff through. I was bluffing in another huge pot in River to Strait. I got aces against kings, I got three vet peeled and made the mutflush with the East Queen suited and
got paid off in a huge pot. It was just kind of a dream level close to the money here at the end of day three, you know, twenty five twenty three or so off. What's your comfort level now going into day four with a big stack, one of the biggest stacks I think we've seen. I mean, I'm very comfortable. I've been around top three hundred issh in the main event three times I took one seventeenth the first time I won it, or the first time I played it, and then I
mean, I think I've casted five or six times. Obviously, I've made several big final tables, none playing for ten million. But I'm very good about focusing, meditating, blocking things out. I think about the money when I'm away from the table, and like get like excited and juice of about it. At the table, it's just it's poker, it's big lines, it's chips, it's the game I've known, I've studied for a couple of
decades. So I put all that aside, trying not to think about, you know, how much I can do for myself, my family, the world with all this money, trying to put that aside. I think about it now at the end of the day and it's kind of crazy. But at the table, you know, it's just business as usual. We're finally down to a manageable field of fifteen hundred Dish players. I'm not too concerned
about the bubble. It's a great opportunity for me to chip up. I don't really expect to have any risk of bosting, and just trying to take advantage of it while I can. Because everyone plays the bubble of the main event crazy crazy tight relative to other tournaments, it's the best bubble in poker. So today was kind of the dream day. So definitely just kind of cruising into the bubble, planning on playing my best and really focusing on final
tabling this thing. I'm not really I wasn't too concerned about cashing from the beginning, worried about pay John, so I'm just eye on the project. How special is this event to you still? Obviously you've played it many years, You've got a few deep runs, you know, is it still like do you still feel it in a way? I know, I know you said you like to block it out while you play, But does it still feel like this is the main event? This is the event? Absolutely?
I mean even when I I mean, I've been moving closer and closer to doing CSOP full time, and it's probably gonna happen in the next year or two. But no matter what, I'm always going to be off for two weeks for the main I don't care what job I take. They're gonna know that, like July I'm gone, you know, Like so I uh, I definitely. I feel it in this one. I haven't even posted about it. I was trying to really put everything into the name focus, try
to rest up where I can. Last question question I like to ask everyone in this event specifically, are you having fun? Absolutely? Definitely, trying to keep the focus level where it needs to be. But we've had some fun tables. It's been sociable. It's good. I mean a lot of times people get too serious about the money and it can't relax and have a good time where we're laughing, breaking balls and then trying to take each other's money. You gotta do what you gotta do. What when did you interview?
After play? When when I came out of commentary? Oh, I stepped out, went into the future, interviewed him, and then went back into the past. That's what I did. That's created Unlike some people, I get worked onne. Okay, are directing that comment towards me? I'm just I'm just throwing It's just a comment. You see the T shirt wearing today, right, Yeah, it spoke to me and I went into some
good. Francis Anderson bracelet winner in the eight hundred All Our Independence Day Celebration one million, six hundred and sixty thousand dollars six dollars Chips, Diego Coelo one million, six hundred and thirty one thousand, and mister Nogamble no future himself, Ren Lynn one million, five hundred and seventy thousand. In the bag. Got plenty of notables still in contention out there, Natcho Barbaro, Terrence Reed, Danny Tang, Poker Girl podcast pro, Arthur Morris still wearing
the hat. I did see it, Adrian matteos Mo Nowara, friend of ours, ex colleague of ours, Tom Dwan, Eric Barstool Nate Nathan. It's funny that I don't think anyway, how many people you think know that Barstool Nate's name is Eric Nathan or just Eric, like even people that follow him. I actually, yeah, I had a bit of a nearly had a tongue slip when I spoke to him, and I just reverted to Bostel Knight. Yeah, I mean just call him Barcelona, of course. So
after play was done, I'll get to some of these other names. But after play was done, Jeff Platt caught up with Tom Dwan for a quick chat, and who knew who knew? Tom Dwan had the gift of gab. But yes, but here's that conversation right now, end of day three with Tom Dwan. What's it like for you to be back here at the World Series of Poker making a run at the Main. Yeah, so I think the Main is just like a super pool tournament, right, the fact
you have so many people. I had said this on another interview, like that ten thousand's like a big number to a lot of people, but it's still somewhat accessible. It's not like a trikeing with a million dollar one hundred k. If you and k by and where you know, people that are more regular people can take a shot at the Maine, right. And I've definitely had a moment or two. I was grumpy with the series sometimes for
something else, but the main, I have no complaints. I think it's awesome and it feels lucky anytime you get chips in it, it's a really cool feeling. Yeah. I mean I wasn't taking it that serious. I bought in day two, right, but then when you get a sack like you're trying to take it serious. Since I've been trying to play good, you want to ask me another question? Or should I tell you my tilt hand. Oh, please go to the tilt hand. Please go to any
tilt that you have experienced. Play good and I but I still I'm going to play a few hands and stuff when I think I can get away with it. There's gonna be times I play tighter than people expect. There's definitely gonna be times I play looser than people expect. And I raised jack ten offsuit under the gun. I made it fifteen K at three six two people called. I had just found out. The girl they called is I think the wife of a buddy of mine that's a good player. Yeah, And
she seemed like she was playing pretty good. I played with her a little yesterday and stuff. And then this guy squeezed out of the small blind to seventy five K. And I don't know that I want to say exactly why. But for a few reasons, I had like quite a read that he was light, and he had been active all day. There were a few times I thought he was a little light, but I wasn't that sure.
I wasn't in any great spot. And this one, you know, I have a cheeseburger, right, jackson offsuit for I have four hundred k if I'm playing the hand, I'm shoving probably, and I had basically convinced myself to shove, and I talked myself out of it, and I'm so I'm still so drumpy about it. I'm like, so. One of the reasons, one of the things I feel comfortable saying is is sometimes people do more spooky stuff on TV, and I think that kind of fit with this whole
story. I just really didn't think he had it. One of the reasons I talk myself out of it is people hero me sometimes on TV. So I was like, this kind of guy gonna look me up with you know, Ten's or Ace Queen or something. And I still don't think he would have right, But it's Jack. I think he would have snapped folded right. So I'm still super tilt about it. Sounds pretty excited overall about being
in the main event. I mean, I know he talked about being on tilt after that hand when he wanted to rip it in with Jack Ten, and it likely would have worked, but uh, he's still alive. Going forward, Jeff did say that he was going to try and talk to Tom Dawn. He had a few more questions for him, but they were gonna wrap it up, and then they'll probably talk tomorrow on the bubble, because there could be a lot of time between hands on the bubble, as we
know. And then you spoke with barstool Nate afterwards, who bagged eight hundred and sixty seven thousand, did have up over a million, but still listen to eight hundred and sixty seven thousand. There's plenty of chips in the bag. So here's that interview with barstool Nate. I'm sending him with bostl Knate eight sixty seven in the bag? Yes, how's that failed? Put that many ships in the bag? Tell you what? I was over a mill and I really wanted to be like I bagged a mill, and then I
lost. I'm not gonna get a bag beat. Sorry. I got eight sixty seven, and it's sick, it's awesome. I love it. So I thought today, how did it all guard for you? From the side to the finish? Honestly, it could not have gone better. I came in with one eight. I improved a ton of every level. I mean, just like every single level, good stuff happened until the last level. I went from whatever like peak down eight sixty seven which is you can't even bitch about it. It's just so good. Yeah, I just had a
really good day. Fun table, we all got along, it was fun. I had a great time, made hands, you know, ransom bluffs. It was just it's everything you want. In the main event, I had a blast today. I mean told you on a little bit of a cold streak in the main event. Has you heard that? I've heard that, but I believe maybe even talking to Jeff Platt as well. So I'm gonna show how this is gonna work. No, yeah, I need to look it up. I'm either like oh for Saturday and oh for eight something
like that. In the main I've gotten stacks and I've punted them. It's all documented, maybe a little too well, but yeah, we're like, what twenty off the money? I know I can do crazy stuff. I don't think I can punt this stack. I think I can, you know, squeak into the min cash. But no promises. Are you saying right now live with me that you're gonna try and follow you away into the money? Get that get that cash. No, I'm not gonna promise that.
I mean, I just think it's gonna be really hard not to but I've done I've done worse, So we'll see. Obviously, you know there's ten million dollars on top, there's a fifteen km in cash, yep. But for you personally, if you have this world of stoolies behind you, you have you know, guys back in the office tweeting, cheering you on, yep. Is that extra weight on your shoulders or is that like more lifting you up to like power you through these days? No, it's definitely lifting
me up. It's just really cool to get all like the internet support. It's it's wild, like just you know, everybody rooting for me, like all the all the stoolies, all the coworkers, all my friend's family, everybody, and you know we're not even like at the money yet, and it's just been like so supportive and so awesome to see. Yeah, it's just been great. It's been very enjoyable. Final question for me, when
are we gonna see Dave in one of these bracelevents? Man? Dave wanted to play the two point fifty k. I actually do believe that he wanted to play. And then it was the Celtics Finals parade in Boston's who he went to that I can't speak for Dave. I think he's and then he sees this and he sees how excited people get and all that, and I think it makes him want to play more, hopefully next year, you know, like maybe maybe they'll bring back a million dollar one drop next year and
he'll jump into that. I don't know. I think he wants to play Yea for real. I don't know what it'll take to get him actually out here. All right, eighty sixty seven in the bag, Go get some sleep. We need you to get to maybe two million tomorrow. What we need is Brent Hanks to finally let me on the feature table. It's been a lifelong dream of mine to be on the TV table and Brent Hanks refuses to allow me on it for the last eight years, but he puts Minci
on it every second he can. I mean, you're actually talking to the guy that's been choosing on the feature table, so you should be blaming me. No, it's all edit that part out, Okay, Okay, we're gonna try. We'll see hopefully you get someone else. So it's an easy decision. I'll put you up there on in the bront Lives and you can spin it up for everyone to watch it. Hunt. Yeah, I think
I only want it for like an hour though too much pressure. I just want to I just want to live in the spotlight for an hour and then get back to my corner. And so the question is barstool Nates said it on he did on the coverage and interview with Jeff Platt, and he said to Jeff basically, there's no way I can torch this before the money, right, no chance. So is he going to torch it? There's always a chance. What was the blindes in the last level, Well they're going
to be four eight, so he has one hundred bigs. Yeah, you can torch that, for sure. You can't. But this guy that's on a you don't cash seven times in a round and you have a hundred bigs, he might just purposely say, oh I showed up. I got to get him my coffee. I showed up late just to make it. Yeah, I would do, of course. I mean I was on a zoo seventh straight. You never he could also get aces and somebody could have kings and you could not that that's a torch. I think I think he might
follow that, not that that's a torch. But you know, you could just get a bad beat and you know whatever. He's followed. A lot of this really comes down to table draw of course. Some other notables remaining Brian Kim, Noah bocan or Am Zobi and Phil Ivy on just under six hundred thousand, Landon Tice kry Aldemir, David od B Baker and then two of the shorter stacks returning four day four, Eric Sidell. I think he's
on seventy eight thousand, Daniel Mgrondey's on seventy four thousand. So they're going to have their work cut out for them at sub but ten big blinds. But we'll see if they can spin it up. Of court Casha's do you think DINIANL Mgrono has in the Las Vegas main event? I don't notice that. I'm just trying to six. Well, I was thinking five. I was between five or six. Why do you have an actual number here? Yeah, I'm getting it right now he has. I wish it was automatic
that we could get these reports. This can't be real. Eleven, I mean what, yeah, that can of course be right. Oh you know what, it includes all main events domestic like online, includes that one well, then you're you're just not the status in fifteen includes Europe as well at an ipak for still eleven whatever, that's sill pretty good, hopefullet twelve tomorrow today. Okay, I did not get a chip count on Mark Wolpert, but I saw him out there today, gave him some podcast hats. He
was still in the event. I'm hoping Mark is still in. I'm hoping that I'm not talking about him and then he's not still in and it's like it feels bad. I really am hoping that he's still in. We obviously have Arthur Morris, who's out there still podcast pro That is our official title from now. Sorry, who else? Anyone else? I got one here? Okay, Michael Pantanello have talked about him. He back six hundred and fifteen thousand. Nice, But I want to go into a little bit deeper
levels. He emailed me twice already, like eleven to thirteen event no like to bag levels eleven to thirteen. That's the first couple levels of the day, no podcast hat. He went from three hundred k all the way down to one sixty. So what does he do at dinner break? He puts the podcasts hot on he runs out one sixty up to six hundred and fifteen thousand. You got Atamaris crushing podcasts. Hat, you got Mista Pentanella crushing podcast Hat? What does that say? Guys, kay podcasts? Hat come
by? It really does? It is the hat to win the main event in it really really does. I see Vivian Saliba six hundred and seventy five, K I say Remain Lewis six fifty six. I see Ethan Yao aka Rampage five oh four. I see Brian Hasteins three eighty six, Cody Daniels still in, Still Going three fifty six for him, Dylan Lindy three sixty
one. Nick Marchington made the Depest Mini Final table a few years ago, three fifty four for him, Robbie je lou Is in the Mix three twenty one, Alan Cunningham the o G one hundred and thirty eight thousand for him, Jimmy d Jimmy de Ambrosio two hundred and seventeen thousand for him. So plenty of notables left. I really want to see the seat draws, like I really am like coming, buddy. I'm just trying to delay it, trying to talk about it, talking waffling on like always what kind of happened
today? Like what what did you see out there? I mean my thing was like the mill getting people to the million chip stacks. That was like my big thing, you know. And you start seeing that, you obviously have you know a bunch of people over a million now, but that was like the big to me. I was just you know, obviously I was running around a lot and looking for tables and trying to figure out, Okay, how long do we have until this table breaks? Can we move this
table here here? So I didn't really get to pay much attention to it. But when I actually kind of had a moment to relax and I was I was standing in Paris, I was literally had to stop watch timing how long it took to break tables because we wanted to move Tom Dwan after the
feature. These tables were busting every ninety second, like once we got all in this room, which is the tables, because it's crazy, today's the day when we've seen it a million times now, I mean we see it every single year when everyone's like, oh, the money's gonna brek, the money's gonna break, or the money bubble was gona bak, it's gonna break, it's gonna break, you know, or first first they question, I should say, first, you know, is it gonna break today? Is
it gonna break today? We're gonna get in the money. And people are like, eh, I don't know, maybe who knows whatever. Then they start playing, you know, they come back from dinner. They came back from dinner today with I think a little bit over two thousand players and they announced it, they said, you know, players, the clock is right. There are two thousand and whatever players left. So at the time they were right right around five hundred players away. So then I think the field
started to feel like, oh, we're cruising. We might get there. We of course know that it always cruises, and then it comes to a screeching halt. Yeah, always right, So of course it comes to pretty much a screeching halt. At the end of the night, they're still you know, twenty or so whatever away. So yeah, I meant, that's
not huh. We could have got there tonight. What do you mean they ended play They didn't get more else would I'm saying you're oh, you're saying play on, but we didn't get there we didn't get there under the schedule.
But listen, I also think it's better to come back. I know that is painful for some people, but you know, rather than having play extend what two three hours or something into the night, have a super late night, have to adjust the schedule tomorrow, possibly the justice schedule going forward for every single day, like just maybe stop them early if you have to, you know. If not, you know, obviously play it out like
you did today, and then come back tomorrow, finish it out. The bubble's gonna burst in the first what two hours, three hours something like that, So three hours, what fifty seven minutes? Fifty seven minutes, which is within the first three hours. So I was right, well, sure it's kind of breaking the next three days. Yeah, pretty exactly. Yeah, I am confident. I mean, you never know how these things, you know how these things are. They can go for hours. No,
yeah, it's not getting when do we get to the bubble? Like that's the first question. Well, you're gonna lose the first ten like immediately, yeah, like within like ten minutes, right, just you and then and then people are going to see the clock and then they're going to start to
slow down. You know, yeah, and then and then we'll see I mean then it then it comes down to part of the length will will be decided if they have to go hand for hand earlier than on the on the exact bubble, like if if it's going, if people are stalling and whatever, and they're like three off the money and they're like, okay, we're
going hand for hand, then it can take a little bit longer. If they get right to fifteen eighteen and everything has gone smoothly and efficiently, and then that that's when they go hand for hand, then yeah, I can go a little bit quicker. But then, of course, you know you have the giant show that is the ws be an event money bubble where you're across two rooms. You've got Jack aufl running around like a crazy person, you know, rightfully, so is it always being in event money bubble.
He's trying to call out all the action. He's running from table to table where all the all ins are. Sometimes you know, you got one on the back corner of this horseshoe room. You got to go to the other back corner of the other horseshoe room. You call the action. You got forty five media members running in tow. You got twenty production cameras and people running with him as well, like it's a whole thing. He's announcing the
action, like calling the cards. You know, players are they're supposed to stay at their table, but they're not. They're hobbing out the swarming. You know, it's a it's a whole thing. It really is a site to behold. So hopefully we can help capture it as best as we can on the broadcast tomorrow. It's the greatest, most important, most notable bubble in all of poker. Every single year. It's amazing the anticipation, you know, the tension in the room, especially for the short stacks that are
trying to hold on. And also it's almost like never a short stack that bus. It's like somebody who has like thirty bigs like and he just get they just get it in like and that's just how it versus ices are like two pair versus yeah. Yeah, yeah, I mean that's like that's like how it is usually because because the guys that have like, you know, four big blinds, they're just they're clinging on for dear life. I mean they're never putting their money in so so yeah, so that's always fun.
You know, they're sweating the guy with like the two big blinds, the two and a half big blinds, and he's coming up to the big blind or he makes the money with one chip two chips, like that's always the fun point. Yeah, I mean, and oftentimes at that point you know that's right just to kind of fold your way into the money as you often play. Every tournament should have done that in two thousand and seven, exactly, you should have folded its cash. I made it to day three once.
I made it today three last year, I've never made it to this point. I'm I really want to be able to feel whatever it feels like bagging chips and then going into the bubble day like that, Like when do these players go to sleep? Like obviously, I think the experience professionals that have been doing this for a while and have experienced it before, and they know like they can probably go home unwined fairly easily and get to bed.
But for people who have never cashed in it, people who are playing it for the first time, satellite winners, all that sort of stuff, I mean, you must be buzzing with excitement, especially if you have like a
good stack. If you have like forty to fifty bigs and you're like you, you pretty much know you're gonna cash unless an absolute catastrophe happens, like you have aces, somebody has kings, they crack you whatever, like, but you're gonna cash, okay, and you know you're gonna cash and you've never cashed before, maybe it's your first of its to be main event,
Like what does that feel like on this night? I was just trying to a couple of people today, but one quession in particular when we're talking about the main event and how it's more unevent about achievements. So what I mean by that, it's like, oh, I made dinner break, you know, I made day three, I made day three, I made the money. Like it's about these little mini achievements. Now, if we go to the four hundred colossus, we're not calling our wives back home and saying,
hey, honey, I made dinner break Like that's whatever. But this event making day two, although you're so far away from the money, is so massive. Making day three so far away from the money so massive. And then now it's it's not as it's not I finish one thousand and sixty seventh place. No one says that. They say, oh, yeah, I cashed the main event or I'd made day five, like it's a day.
It's like a day and moment achievement more than it is place. And you play the Colassus, you're going to say, oh, I cash for eight hundreds, Just like it's just viewed differently, And like obviously, this field's made up of so many satellite winners and recreational places, people that kind of like, you know, put everything into this one event that they're cashing for the first time. Maybe they only play one or two big tournaments a year. This is one of them to say, Hey, I cash, I
pocketed profited five K. I'm coming back next year. Yeah. I mean, listen, I hope one day I can experience a run to the money in the mean event, like fifteen hundred and seventy players are going to do this year. Just I'm just amped up, man. I mean, I'm not even in the tournament and I'm amped up for tomorrow, Like I can't wait. Of course we're gonna be doing our bubble episode. I can't wait for that. You better bring, are you? In commentary? What do
you mean? No? I told not showing up. I got the bubble, the bubble pod first and foremost over a one hour preview. No bubble pod remco can handle the preview. He's got gotta make sure work out in the morning. Got to make you can do that. Just be back here. But I was gonna skip the ft out. Don't do that if you think it's gonna bust in fifty seven minutes. Be back here, phone charged. Have an additional power bank with you. I didn't have one of us.
Well we have, Yeah, there's one there. I have another one in my bag, so we're covered there. You got to be ready to go. Man, talk to as many people as you can. You know how we do? All right? Cool? So the record setting WSP main event is on today for On to the Money Bubble. You guys can watch it on poker go dot com. We will be streaming from the beginning. I truly do believe the subscription is worth all right, moving on to some other topics. So if you only came here for the main event stuff, then uh yeah, stay see you no stay around? Stay around? I mean, okay, what do we got? Why don't you just h
out? Fifteen eight game came back seven players. Josh denied He's seventh bracelet by goth Hadick top the four hundred ninety four entrant field to win one hundred and thirty one thousand dollars and his first wra bracelet. Josh away five to one chip lead heads up, blew that good luck, good work, Team lucky third place Miami John Snudo fourth place, John Racner, fifth place, Max Coleman sixth place. Marco Johnson absolutely stacked fifteen hundred eight game final table.
But congrats to Garth Jerik on his first bracelet. Flipp and Go mentioned that Seawan d gone in fourteenth place. I told hi, who's going to finish thirteenth? So he he purposely busted fourteenth to not fulfill my prophecy.
Mike leea third place, Chance Corneth on top fourth WSP bracelet. He topped one thousand and eighty eight entrant Field to win one hundred and fifty five K in the Flipp and Go presented by GG Poker, Chance Colins, WSP Bracists twenty twenty one ten K short deck for one hundred ninety four K twenty eighteen thirty two hundred dollars online, No Limen holding my roll off three hundred and forty one K. Good good coin there twenty ten He's first five K PLO
for five hundred and eight K. Now he is a four time bracelet winner and spoke with him for a little bit. Maybe we should just as you did. Yeah, we got an interview. We'll win this interview. Why not? All right, let's let's kick at the chance. Let's go. Chat's corner full time WSOP, Bryce Whinning. You're holding it in your hand right there? What is going through your mind right now? Honestly, it just feels good. You know, I'm super stoked to finally take one down.
I've had a ton of deep runs lately, a bunch of seconds, third, sports, seventh, ninth, you know, and it feels pretty incredible to actually get first place. Comparing to your three previous braces. We have a short deck, we have a PLO, we have an online does any does this stand out more than the others or do you think some of those ones you know is so number one in your ranking the first one. I think we'll always stand out the most unless I win, like a really
big one, the five KPLO in twenty ten. You know, kind of solidified my career is making a good decision to drop out of college and play Bok her and so I. To this day, I think that one was probably the coolest win. Husband, father, owner of coaching. Side to you, now, you know you play the World Series pretty heavily outside,
but outside of that you're pretty relaxed. Is that something you know you may commitment to your family to be like, I'm only for the World Series, but outside of that, I'm a dad, I'm a husband, et cetera. Yeah, my wife and I picked up and moved our family to Nashville about twenty months ago, and the goal was to focus more on child leader coaching and being a husband and father, not in that order. And my wife has an incredible understanding and is the most supportive human that I've ever met,
and she steps up when it's World Series of poker. Timon knows that it's time for me to play poker, and all right, you couldn't ask her a little better. So we have those three things, husband and father, shipley to coach, and poker player. How do you wait? The balance of doing all that, you know, balance for someone with the nine to five is they wake up, they see their kids maybe before work, They spend time with their family, and they have weekends. Balance as a
poker player is very different than right now. I oh my family, my wife and kid a lot of time and you know some of the ship layer coaching students as well, And I'll focus on that when it's not the World Series of Poker. Like I always describe it to people about being a poker player, They're like, wow, you go and work like eighty hours a week every week for seven weeks. I'm like, yeah, Like, imagine a situation where your hourly is three or four x what it might be normally,
Like it's time to go to work. Yeah for you, as you know, removing the family stuff with talking just poker, just talking Chip late a coaching. Uh, if we look forwarding side ten years time, what's more one to you? He is a Bryceletalia. Do you care about getting to five, six, seven, eight, whatever the number is winning millions and millions of dollars or is it, you know, more deep down growing chip Leader Coaching to something that you think is you know, the pinnacle of
the of the training kind of sphere. I would say definitely the latter. I have made a commitment to myself and to make chip Leader Coaching the best. I already think our content's the best, you know, Fox and and I make every piece of content for chip Leader Coaching, and of the tournament players that make no limit tournament content, I do genuinely believe he and I are the best. And the other competitors have bigger marketing wheels, if you
will, And so you know we're small and growing. We don't really We have like maybe five hundred guys and we had two people final table to Millie Maker, two people final table the ten K win event, another online bracelet, another guy won the ten K Seniors, one another like one k Turbleo.
Like our students are like absolutely out their fresh and I think it's just a testament to helvate the content is obviously when we talk about our company, both to Go and we talk about streaming and this hustle and try it and a lot of competitors that are free and this. You know, obviously we're our product. When it comes to training sides. You know, we have jack at Coaching, we have OCTOPI, we have run it once, we
have all these sites. Is competition good in your mind? In some ways, it's you know, it'd be great if I didn't have any competition, and everyone if they wanted to look for turn a bit coaching, they just came to us. But I think that it really forces you to create as good a content, as good a product as you can. If, like you know, if your shit's not good, people are going to go somewhere else. And I think that accountability by having competitors is a big positive for
you. You know you mentioned Alex. You know you and Alex both bracele winners. Do you think you value winning bracelets more for the business than personal Obviously there's money and the stuff. Yeah, yes, absolutely, It's just uh, you know, my poker career, I've had a lot of success. But I think for the average you know, John Smith that is getting into poker, that racial count does mean a lot to them, Like for me, it's it's cool, you know, maybe get into Poker Hall of
Fame one day, if it has any relevance to that. But for me, it's just about money for my family and setting them up for the future. You touched on poker Hall of Fame, and obviously I think everyone's galling poker is hall of Fame. Whether you like the Hall of Fame or whether you think it's never good, never even crossed my mind until the last year. I want to know if we if we you're sixty five years old, you've got grandkids on your lap, and you're telling them that you all live
story. What does what do you want your legacy to be as a poker player? What is what's chance Corna's legacy? And I think that now that I have a kid, maybe that's why it's going to cross my mind recently, But never in the past, Like it was literally never on my radar until year ago. And then I got a student who wanted to make it in the Hall of Fame and that was their motivation for getting coaching for me, and I was like, huh, never even crossed my night. I
gotta want that too. Final question for me, obviously, Unfortunately, you're out of the main event. But we have bracelet in your hands, so that's a good thing excluding the main event. What is the one bracelet? You want to wait? Not for the money, but like this is like this is D one. I wanted my trophy case, the five or K six max. Yeah, all right, that was Chance Corners with Tim Duckworth.
Look, we got some other stuff on, but you you said the top of the show, you've been hammering this side this main event time. We're not going to talk about this six hundred dollars deep stack. I don't even listen. I'm not going to talk about the fives, the final table there, there was a final table today until I walked in here and I was like, what's going on over there? What else is on? There's a there's a one k PLO mystery bounding. That's kind of cool. That's
a new event. We'll touch on that more tomorrow. Maybe we'll see how it goes. What's going on in this in this ultra stack? Do we have any fans? Forty fifty players left, but do we have any fantasy I mean, I didn't even look that far because it's a six hundred dollar ultra stuck. I just want to know if there's fantasy sweats, that's all you care about. Yeah, that's really all I care about for these other events right now. I mean it's the main event. I do not see
a single fantasy sweat in the top fifty seven sixty five. These chip counts are pretty rough. Ninety five players on a single twenty five K fantasy you're good? What a five k? Though? Five K is going to cause you some trouble because they're in the money and there's a lot of twenty five K fantasy sweats in that. Do we have any not in every way in the in the must fade way that makes sense. Sergio Ado is in the chip counts. I have no idea if that counts for anything. So is
everyone else. I'm just saying that's just covery. But yeah, they are just in the money now. Raman Hajif chip leader along with your Dozewski and Fahi and Mustafov, well three of them have I quite a lot of chips. Yeah, I mean, listen, it's the main event. Baby, we are cooking. Let's have a look in the Bailly the croc can go recruise in the chips in the mystery plo mister Bownie. Of course he does.
He's the freaking croc all right, Well that's gonna be it. You guys can find the end of day reports on WSOP dot com under the updates section. Then if you click on under the minimu you click on reports, you can find it there. You can see the table draw on all that good stuff. I'm sure Tim and I will be pouring over that, maybe some tonight, maybe some in the morning, trying to offer our suggestions for feature tables. I'm gonna go and throw it out there that barstool Nate should
be on the future table for sure. I mean, who would you pick out of the chip leaders, out of the people with let's say the top fifty stacks. Well, I need to see the fire these stacks. Yeah, we'll look at it. I keep seeing this person named Damian Elias, and I keep thinking, well, no, I keep thinking it's Damian Saalace, and then I keep thinking it's Darren Olias. Like I'm thinking them off the top fifty that's on w s P dot com. Yeah, I mean
barstool Nate's in there, so I would be there. Yeah, I would put him up there. He just needs he just give me, give me someone else at this table, give me some how about barstool Nate and Reren Lynn at the same table and podcast par Altha Mars Sure, why not, right? I mean, why not? That would be fun? Or barstool Nate and Tom Dwan. Oh I love it that. Yeah, I don't want to talk. Yeah, Tom Dwan and Bostil Knight. Yeah like that. That would be fun. So yeah, that'd be cool. All right.
Well, anyway, that's gonna do it for us a little bit on the shorter side today, but it is what it is. Tomorrow Tomorrow's episode should be a long one as long as the bubble goes. You know, what, what are you doing? What are you doing? Why'd you do that? What? What happened? It's me upset of being long. Yeah, but it's gonna be long. It's not gonna be long because of what we record post event. It's gonna be long because of what we get on
the bubble. Sure. So it's not like after everything wraps up, we're not gonna be here till five am. We better not be. I mean we're not. It's just that's not how it works. You know. Producer Rich Ryan's gonna have a lot of work to get everything together, but we're not gonna have a lot of work here, so anyway that's going to do it for us. Francisco Perez Moreno leads the World Series of Poker main event into Day four, into the Bubble Day. There are about fifteen hundred and
forty players remaining. They're all eyeing the top fifteen seventeen and a fifteen thousand dollars min cash of course up top ten million dollars. Thank you everyone for listening. My name is Donny Peters, his name is Tim Duckworth, and we will talk to you guys on the next episode. Jenny Express
