Hello, everyone, Welcome back to a brand new episode of the Poker Go Podcast. My name is Donny Peters. His name is Tim Duckworth. There you go, and it is July first, twenty twenty four, coming to you early in the night, at least by our standards, it is. It is before nine pm, if you can believe that, day thirty five of the twenty twenty four World Series of Poker. We are now in July. We are getting ever, ever, ever so close to the WSOP main

event. Feels like that really snuck up on us. But we got a good show today. I'm going to talk about a bunch of events that have been happening today. We got one winner to discuss. We've got a couple of losers to discuss as well. Tim and I me twice. First up on the show, hit on the Ladies Championship because we have a winner, Shina Okamoto out of Japan. She took it down. The twenty five thousand dollars PLO Championship is down to I think, well, sorry, they're playing

down to six. They're down to nine right now, they're on dinner. They're going to be playing down to six? Is the plan? Ten thousand dollars. Stud High Low Championship is moving towards the money. They're not in the money yet, but they're getting closed. So we'll touch on that.

Probably won't be in the money by time we get up to it, but you know, we'll hit on it and then we'll you know, bring it back later or bring it back tomorrow, I should say, Colossus Massive Field in the Colossus nineteen three hundred and fourteen more than five hundred thousand dollars to the winner. The ten thousand dollars Mystery Bounty kicks off. Can you see the updating numbers on that? That's your goal for this? Okay? The

twenty five hundred dollars Big Bet Mix also kicked off. The Tag Team kicked off, and that's what Tim and I played. That's what Tim and I gave out fifty different one percent and shares, and we'll hit on that. We'll talk about the hands that we played. We'll give you an update on our status, which if we're recording pre nine pm, then you guys know the status, but you know we'll hit on it. So we're gonna be doing daily giveaways during the WSP main event. What are you shaking your head

for I already talked about this. I know, I just you put thrown a lot on my plate a little worried. Two winners per day, you know, we U It starts on Wednesday, July third, so we got a couple of days to sort this out. How you enter into our giveaway is you leave a review for the podcast. Then you submit that review via a screenshot via a photo just stick get in an email, send it on

into podcasts at PokerGO dot com. If for forever reason that's not working for you, you can DM Tim and I do whatever you gotta do, Okay, just just get it to us, okay, and we'll get you in there, and then we'll draw two winners every day for some stuff. Tim's got one thing in autographed. Daniel ground you something from the fifty k win. That'll probably be the grand prize, but we might do some other fun stuff. We have those big ass cards over there we could get autographed.

Yeah, those could be fun for sure. You think we can get Ivy to sign one night chance? Okay. Before we get into today's episode, and because the WSP main event is coming up in just a couple of days, I need to tell you about the new giveaway that poker go is running right now because it could ultimately result in you, yes, you, playing in the twenty twenty five WSP Main Event. Poker Goro is giving away not one, not two, but three seats to next year's main event. You

Be sure to use the promo code w SOP twenty four win because that'll

It does not apply to the VIP level subscription. Okay, and all you have to do is you have to be an annual subscriber on the drawing dates. So we're gonna We're giving away three seats, We're gonna draw two winners on July fifteenth. I think it's July fifteenth. That's the day off,

right talking to you. So on the day off when they make the final table, the WSP manamat, they have a day off, then they come back and play it on that day off, we'll draw two winners, and then a little bit later in the year before Poker Masters or during Poker Masters

something like that, we'll draw the third winner. So if you pick up an annual subscription right now, or if you are an annual subscriber and you are an annual subscriber on the drawing dates and you're automatically entered, voidware prohibited, NOE purchase necessary. Visit poker good dot com slash rules for official terms for this giveaway. All right, Ladies Championship. One woman stands above them all and it is Japan's Shina Okamoto. She wins the event one hundred and

seventy one thousand dollars for her. I mentioned yesterday that I didn't know much about Okamoto, and I'm an idiot because I kept thinking that she looked familiar like when she was in the photos and the updates. When I saw her out there in the field, and I just thought, you know, I just saw her around whatever. She came second last year. Okay, that's my dumb fault for lapsing on that, so apologies. So an incredible two year run for Okamoto. Second last year to Tammy Abraham. I believe it

was in a field of twelve hundred and ninety five entries. Okamoto took second for one hundred and eighteen k last year, and then this year she wins it. She tops Jamie Kurst at her in heads up play. She takes home one hundred and seventy one thousand dollars, so just about two hundred and ninety thousand dollars for her, or sorry, three hundred thousand dollars for her for the two year total second and then a first, and just ultimately like

a really cool story about how you get there. You know, you get to heads up play in a championship event, you know, as big and notable as the Ladies Championship. You don't close the deal right. It's got to sting a little bit being that close and then ultimately not winning the bracelet. But Okamoto gets right back up, dusts herself off, and now she's

in the Winter Circle a year later. From everything that I could tell, played extremely well at the final table, crushed heads up against Jamie Kurstetter. These two players, Curseetter and Okamoto were first and second respectively and chips coming into the final day, so you know, kind of fitting that they ended up then making it to heads up play. Curse Tter took second for one

hundred and fourteen thousand dollars for her great rail. On both sides, really you had you had a USA on one side, you know, Jamie Kurseedter is a super popular player commentator, she's an ambassador for WPT et cetera. And then on the other side you had a large Japanese rail for Okamoto. You know, probably about equal size to be honest, I would say thirty people or so for each. The USA side of things was a bit more rowdy, you know, cheering, constantly chanting for Jamie, singing who let

the dogs out? Because Jamie's a dog lover, like you say, you know, the Japanese rail was certainly rooting for Okamoto, just a little less boisterous than the USA rail was, but it made for a good atmosphere overall, which is kind of fitting because you know, we had that great rail a couple of days ago for Daniel Legron, who's fifty k win. We have this good rail here and we are heading into the main event, so you know, the rails picking up at the right time is welcomed. That

was kind of pretty awesome to see kept getting bigger too. You know. It was one of those where I think, obviously there's a lot of people out here for Jamie and it's just built and built and built. You know, ultimately she wasn't able to get the job done. I don't have internet over here, and I'm losing my f in mind. Can you look up Jamie curse atter her hand him ob or whatever. Didn't she final table the tag team No No at the wind in December the Ladies event? Oh I

think she did. Yeah, let me check. I'm pretty sure she did. It's not on the hell yeah that I'm an idiot, so whatever, I mean, it probably wasn't her. Maybe it was he before, Yeah, maybe it was. I don't know. If I had internet, I would be able to effort what she finished. Sixth in twenty twenty two. Yeah, that's something, is Yeah, how many entries did that one? Have the twenty twenty two one. Yeah that's the win, right, yeah, five seventy eight Yeah, good showing for her there, good showing for

her here, of course. But Jamie falls short. She fell shorts. Of course. You mentioned that tag team event they got second there, right, Yeah, Spin and Spin and Pads aka Patrick Leonard. So yeah, Jamie's been close a couple of times now. It still searching for the bracelets, but not for Okamoto, who grabs her first and quite the story. Quite the run in back to back years again, second place last year for Okamodo, first place this year. The twenty five thousand dollars PLO is down.

I always want to say twenty five thousand dollars PLO Championship, but it's a high roll up is down to six, so down to nine, down to nine. Sorry, they're playing down to six is what I meant to say, more than two point two million dollars up top. It will be streaming on Poker Go on Tuesday, so the day you guys are listening to this episode, likely then you will be able to stream the final table of

this event. We were originally planning on doing the Colossus, but it doesn't look like the Coloss is going to get to a final table, so we had to make a switch. And this is a perfect event because there's a massive, massive prize PLoP for grabs. How many entries did it get because I still don't have internet over here and I'm losing my nine seventy six and

last year had three eight eighteen. I think four forty nine. Yeah, I'm thinking three eighteen was the twenty twenty five K that Nick Shulman won, so which was this year? So again we've said it many times, We're gonna say it again. PLO is on fire, scorching hot. The twenty five K PLO beat the twenty five K Nolan and hold him. PLO is

where it's at man, Yeah, it's absolutely where it's at. It beat last year's number, which falls in line with something that we've been saying and tracking all summer long, is that any big bet ten K and higher is just smashing what it had before. Yang Wang leads on dinner, you got David Eldridge's second Brian Rest. He's the biggest name that is still in. He is chasing bracelet number seven. The Poker Hall of Famer is out there battling. He had a big chip lead for you know, when they were

at two tables for quite some time. Has often we slipped back into the middle of the pack, but he's still in there. He's still doing well. Prizes are two point twenty four to six million up top, and then second and third are also seven figures. What are they? I see you looking at it? One point four nine seven for second. Third place is a million thirty eighth nine seven. Yeah, I mean just crazy freaking numbers in this event. Thirteen hundred poy points up top for us Jesus all right

again, this will be streaming on poker Go on Tuesday time tbd. Depends when they finish today, if they got to come back with more players than the final table tomorrow, all that sort of stuff. So stay tuned to PokerGO dot com slash schedule because we'll update that as soon as we know. Also, all the poker Goro channels on social media will keep you updated for what is happening for the streaming of the twenty five k PLO high Roller.

We got the ten k stud High Low Championship. Another increased field size here, one hundred and sixty seven injuries this year one hundred and forty one last year. Stud High Low is hot. It's hot, man, It's freaking hot. Game in the future, Yeah, a game so far in the past that we're now in the future. That's exactly what's happening with Stud Higlo. Three hundred and seventy six thousand dollars up top. Andre Ziglov looks like

he has a big lead, but you got some big names. Richie Skullar, Eric Wasserson, Michael Rocco, Jake Schwartz, Brandon Schack, Harris all looked to be in still. I think I saw Chris Avich out there. Dario Alioto is out there. I saw Todd Brunson out there. Good field in this ten thousand dollars Stud High Low Championship. Dario Alioto is on our twenty five K fantasy team, so can we have a late surge please,

Dario. Dario has been a great pick for us, absolutely great pick, battling his ass off, performing extremely well, and hopefully he can make a big run to the final table and close this one out. I think there's around like thirty two left, thirty six left, something like that. It's the top twenty six pay twenty thousand dollars mid cash, so not quite in the money yet, but getting there. Probably hit the money in this one.

I'll say eleven o'clock. I'll take of us all over. You said twenties in the money twenty six oh, and they're at like thirty, so that's a pretty good line, alright, check because most of these are hitting the money at like ten thirty. But I'm figuring it's high low, so it take a little bit longer. So I'll say eleven day three. The final day is on Tuesday. I'll put final day in quotations because this event

has stretched to four days before. So we'll see how that one plays out, and then of course we will check back in on it on the next episode. Moving on to one of the most popular WSOP events every single year since its installment into the schedule, which I think was twenty fifteen, The Colossus. What was the first year? Look that up, statman, you're not doing anything over there. I'm doing it, you said, like big swords, So like I'm doing the PGT points. I actually stop doing that.

We're on the PO podcast. Do that stuff later. I don't even know how to find this. Would I would go to twenty fifteen Benogo cost this event twenty fifteen. Bang see I knew it. Nineteen thousand, three hundred and fourteen entries this year. That's an insane number. I think last year was fifteen thousand and eight hundred and something like fifteen eight sixty four or

something like that. So big, big, big increase this year. Five hundred and one thousand dollars to the winner four and a dollar buy in, So someone's going to turn a four hundre dollars entry into more than half a million dollars. Day one A drew four thousand, six hundred and twenty entries, Day one B drew six thousand, one hundred and five entries, and Day one C eight thousand, five hundred and eighty nine entries. Just absolutely

wild. It becomes the seventh largest live tournament of all time, which Tim and I mentioned on the previous episode. That's really good company over be able to get onto that list and be that large of a field. I did mention the five hundred one thousand dollars up top. It looks like bracelet winner

Bernando Neves is he's either Chip leader or one of the Chip leaders. The blinds are freaking massive in this thing, and the chips are swinging like crazy, So you know, I'm gonna kind of say some names that I saw on the chip counts, but you know, take that with the grain of salt, because who the heck knows what's gonna happen in the next couple hours or so. Nevez was a bracelet winner at WSP Paradise. He won the closer event. Matt Lance I think is still in Greg Raymer. Aaron Johnson

out of Minnesota. Aaron Johnson took second in the Monster Stack and then made the final table of the Super Turbo Bounty. So he's having a decent summer, especially if he can continue this run here in the Colossus. And then I saw Craig Chait's name out there in the chip counts as well. Not sure what happened to Ben Mintz Barstool Mincy. I know he was up over a million, then I know he was down to five hundred k going into one hundred k Big Blind, and he was like, I need to send

I need some heat or whatever. So he might be out, he might not be. Hopefully he's spinning it up with love Minci. I was in there today for day two. I cashed seventeen hundred and sixteenth place, which seems decent. I have no idea to check. It was a page jump, so I'm pretty sure I got eight hundred and forty dollars. A second time, I got a little gripe with this. Okay, I here a

small g gripe. I got two. Actually I got two g two small g gripes with this event one is just quickly going back to the entries. We got to put the full entries on the clock. I know it's an issue with the Bravo system. Another knock to the great Bravo system. I'd like, I mean, when are people just going to move to poker atless?

Look, let let's go already. But the number on the clock for today in the Colossus said forty three, which I think that's the number they always put on these big fields, Like that's like the cap for some reason or something. It's it's weird anyway, they had ninety three hundred and fourteen. Now this matters for two reasons. One I think is more important than

the other. The lesser of the two reasons is that you literally just have everyone out there asking the question, yeah, like, oh I thought it had this. I thought it had that Hokaman only says ten thousand, Like the people are calling the floor to the table, like someone called the floor to our table to start day two, Like Howkamanoly says this, you know,

like this whole thing. So there's that. The other issue is that you know this event, this isn't everyman tournament, you know, just like the gladiators, Like you have so many people going up to the clock taking photos being like you know this is like I'm still in there's this many people. There's this many people left, like or right after they bust, they take photos like so that the big number that you drew, you should want that out there, like you should want the fact that you got almost twenty

thousand, you got more than nineteen thousand. It's a great number, you know, highlight it. But you put a lesser number on there just makes things a little weird. So gotta fix that's that's I think that's on Bravo, per what we've been told. So they got to fix that. Then my other small g gripe is so everyone cashed at the end of day one, like you got into the money right, and I think all the payouts

were the same. If I if I looked correctly at the payout sheets on the payout reports on wsp dot com, everyone who cashed on day one just got the same amount eight hundred and one dollars. That was the min cash today to start the day. There was no pay jump, it was just eight oh one. Again, what if you make day two in bag? I feel like you should be rewarded, right, you should, like, I mean, it doesn't have to be much. The next pay jump is

where I fell in eight forty. That would be fine. You know, you just know that you lock up a little bit more money by getting to a bag. Like to me, that seems completely normal like to do. So I was just kind of surprised that they didn't do that. You know, I did expect you know, I thought making it to the bag last night. I just assumed that I came into today and I'm be like, oh, I'm probably cashing for like eight thirty or something. Yeah, like

not a lot more. But you're out of that first tier. No you weren't. You had you had to fight on quickly on my stats second cash this summer, I've played four events, you know, fifty percent in the money rate. It's pretty damn good. It's my second Colossus cash two hundred and thirty fifth in twenty twenty two, and my eighth WSP cash, which is important because I tie this guy next to me, Tim duckway the time I tied you. I'm there, I'm there. I'm gonna start pulling away.

Of course you're gonna pull We're gonna start pulling away. Buddy. Who has more winnings? You? For sure? I don't know. I haven't broken one hundred k yet. No, no, no, in WSP. Probably you, I mean, for sure it has to be you. Why. I mean, my biggest cash at the WSP is ten k? Do you mind? Have me? I doubled up or I doubled up to start the day. I came into the day with I think fourteen bigs. I three bet jammed on Alan Jeffrey Shulman shout out Rala, Bob, And how

much did you cash for today? Eighth and forty dollars? Oh my god, this is I have twenty four thousand, four hundred and two WSP innings. Yeah you have? How much do you guys? Show eight forty? Yeah, you have twenty three thousand, nine hundred and twenty fives. That's amazing. Oh good, that's amazing. But mincash when I win the main event this year, if I'll blow you out of the water. I three bed jams on Alan Jeffrey Shulman. Shout out hurral A Bob once again.

It's just it's an old poker news podcast joke. We had haralabab on Rich and I on like a break of a tournament. He was just he went on this rant about Alan Jeffrey Shulman because he was playing with her and this is his whole thing got so yeah, the OG podcast listeners will probably know what I'm talking about, so sorry if that's a little too inside baseball. Anyway, I had Ace Jack. I was on the button. She was like plus two or something, I don't know. She called it off at

the ace king, but we smashed Jack. She was not happy, so we doubled up there then and then my table broke moved into the other room after I watched Terry Grimes almost fight a security guard, which was hilarious to

watch. I mean it was the security guard was saying you're in my house, yeah wow, which was only provoking Grimes, which is the whole thing was just was just wild, like it got to the point where there was multiple people had their phones out and were videoing it because they thought it was going to like actually escalate to a fight. Like I thought there was gonna be punch's thrown and then and then eventually like the security guard walked away or

something I don't know first hand. At the new table, guy opens under the gun for two and a half X. I looked down at King Queen of Diamonds in middle position. I jam two hundred and fifty K. He folds, so I get that through. Then I raised and took it down. Then I raised under the gun to King Jack of Hearts. Guy in the on the button clicks it, like essentially clicks it. The blinds were eighty sixteen thousand. I make it thirty two. He makes it fifty two.

So I'm like, okay, well I'm not folding into this guy. I call it comes ten high, like ten seven deuce, two spades, check check turns the four spades. I just lead for sixty five K. He folds. Huh, it's eazy. I mean if these people would bet their hands, then I mean let's go. I actually thought I was like this guy might call me with like ace queen with the aces spades, and then I'm gonna have to stuff the river like I already knew. I'm like,

non spade river, I'm fucking ripping in this guy's face. And then the same guy who who opened on the first hand to two and a half X, he had like a he had like a million chips, like one million, fifty thousand or something, easily the table chip leader. He didn't seem too experienced, so anyway, he he opens like plus two with or to two and a half X. Again, I look down, I see two eight's. I got twenty three bigs. Now, in a lot of

tournaments, I would probably play this differently. I would have an argument for maybe like a small three bet, but it's kind of awkward because he came in for two and a half X, where at the state of a tournament most people are just two xing possibly two point one. I could also just flat and play post, but I was like, you know, I'm always going to lean aggressive in these big field tournaments because I knew that the pay

jumps were like nothing, that it didn't matter. I knew the first pay jump was up to eight forty, and then I just thought that the you know, like between pay jumps was like thousands of people. So I was like, well, what's the point of like any sort of like ICM considerations here like whatever. I also thought, like, you know, this guy raised folded to me before. You know, there's a chance he can just when he folded before, he said he had a King Queen. Okay,

so we had the same hand. But whatever. So I'm like, Okay, if he's opening King Queen under the gun, like he can be opening King Queen again, he can probably be opening King Jack you know, ah Jack stuff like that, he might fold those to me, so I don't have to take a flip. Even if I do have a flip, I'll take a flip for fifty big blinds in the Colossus, because then if I can get fifty big blinds, it's just like, you know, it's game

on. Like at that point. Then we're making some noise and you know, I mean there's gonna be some times when he might have sevens maybe six's. You know, I'm not sure what this particular player does with fives, but I think sevens and six is he can for sure put those into into raising and then you know, yeah, I'm gonna get cooled off sometimes where he has bigger pairs folds back to him. I get the how much is it? I say, I say what it is? Whatever? It was

three something or something. He has the dealer break it down and then thanks for twenty seconds and then calls me with jacks and I'm out. So nothing like a good knit roll on the way out the door. I was nitrolled three times in this tournament, twice by the same player on day one and then by this guy here. So yeah, it's always fun when they knit roally. But whatever it is, what it is, that's my Colossus experience. Happy to get a cash, did it on one bullet, had planned

to fire six bullets if I needed to. So feeling good going into the main events. The ten thousand dollars mystery bounty kicked off last year. I think was five hundred and eighty six entries when Chris Chris Klaude Nikki won it for a little bit over eight hundred thousand this year. Last I looked when they were on dinner, they were up over seven hundred eight to fifty three was the last count when I checked to the side of the podcasts. Ten k bit plus Big bet is just bananas. I mean, what in the

world people are just blasting in this thing. It was, if I remember correctly, a little bit earlier in the summer. I think it was like Event thirty or something last year. Last year was called the Secret Pay five. Yeah, and this year it's like event number like eighty or something, or like seventy five or so. Yeah, good, good boost there. I think registration closed at nine to fifteen. It's nine eighteen, so sob might have actually gone up from Yeah, so they're probably just getting to these

last people in there. You were allowed two re entries. I believe Philip Ivey just sat down. Of course he did. I mean, listen, here's the deal with phil Ivy because we kind of talked about this a little bit in our in our twenty five k sweatshet. I mean, he's just an auto draft now, like he's back. I mean every single year it's like the question. I mean, you're just you have to bet on him,

you have to Where did he go for this year? I still don't have internet sixteen dollars, yeah, I mean eleven point nine to four points

per dolla. I mean, looking back on it, we probably should have just tried to get him and probably paid up to thirty dollars because if we could head Negron you for the one thirty two, you know, but then we had Chidwick for like twenty, and if we could get Ivy for round twenty, I mean, that's an insane top three and we should never be able to get two of those players probably, So I mean, I if Ivy's back, which I think he's back, and I was telling the guy

is like, I think there's always those questions coming in and even Daniel says it, like in his vlogs on social media whatever, like I have no idea how much he's playing. I've never haven't talked with him, blah blah blah. Like during the drafts his name came up. I think someone said something and Guard said or not and then he like I think he texted him while he's like was getting bit on the bit. Yeah, I didn't get

a feeler. I mean, Ivy's good for minimum twenty five events from now on, like I will, I will like basically guarantee that just because there's so there's enough you know, ten k's twenty five, k's fifty k, hunter k's two fifty k's that he's going to be in there, like, there's enough of those. He's gonna play those. He's not gonna mess around on the other stuff anymore. You know, I don't think he's doing the whole bracelet chasing anymore. So he's not going to be doing any of that.

That's always the upside, right, what happens if he does through the brace I mean, that's the upside. I don't ever see him doing that. Like I could see him hopping in like a five K, but other than that, I really don't see him hopping in any of the other stuff. So, you know, I think he's pretty fully back. So yeah, I'm kind of back in on Ivy. Maybe we need to bring back Ivy in the Misfits. Maybe that needs to hap him can do that if you draft, that's what I mean. Who else is in the tournament?

Everyone is seven? I wonder I was doing well. I don't have Internet man Sean Dave Chip later unfortunately Santo Savanna's third, and Chips Chris Cerni Chen was Chip lead. He's ninety k now. Frank Fernaro, Dan Sepio, Isaac Hackson, Sergio Aido esfiinnosaid that's the sum of the names. In the top twenty. So are we going to tell people that it's not you at the final table this? Do you know what? I walked the mystery Brownie. I'm getting text NonStop, good, okay, non stop, I'm walking.

I walked the mister Brownie. Sam las Quitz, is that congrats? Blah blah blah. I get Dan Sepio saying congrats. Kyle Burns said, congrats. The best part about it is that, at least for me, is that what was the buying for the event? Five k exactly. It's like it's it's really more believable if it was like the five hundred. Yeah, of course, Like they just think you just fired into the five kl mine event with all the fucking wizards, Like, no, that's not happening.

But that's what That's what Kao said. He goes to like, I did don't believe it. Then I was like, you could have want to satellite I think you tweeted that you want to satellitze. I was like, yeah, it must be right. The funny thing is Dan Sepuell saw something and then said congrats, and then Maria Harry was at the same table. It was like, yeah, I was gonna say you something I wasn't sure and look to I look, I panned to the riot and fucking Shawn Dabe

is like in the seventh Saint loughing his fucking hand out. And then when we started talking about it and stuff and yea for those wondering out there. I got an email today, by the way, an email from someone I don't know. I won't say their last name, but Alli, you email me just the subject is Duckworth at Final Table. Send it to my email and my personal right now, which I don't know how they found my personal body in the email. No, it's a picture of like the the leaderboard.

But my internet doesn't work, so you know whatever. But yeah, it's getting around, man, it's getting around. Everyone's all about it. Well, the thing is that listen to everyone, it's Sean Deep as a troll because Tim and Sean have this thing going on. Seawan Deep made his new w sip dot com name as Tim Duckworth, and then he went and made the five k online brace oft event Final Table, which is going to

be played live. I will I will set the number on ten and a half, sorry, nine and a half, nine and a half people that show up to that live final table thinking it's you and then okay, mean that's at the final table that like come to watch. Oh that's like there's people out there that like probably think it's you. Yeah, like people in

the media like whatever. Like there's obviously a lot of them because a lot of them have asked me, they've asked you whatever, So there might be some that like they don't get that, they don't get the word that it's not you. And which also because more media come out for the main event as well usually so people might like they might be like come to the rail or like be waiting for it to start and like waiting for you to show up and then they don't see you. Yeah. Look, I love the

media have reached out. If they reach out to me in person, I tell them that it's not me and the Chun date, but a lot of the ones online I'm just whatever seeing that for now, because it gets kind of funny how John Caldwell called me today and you know, he said cod grads and then I said it's not me, Shohn Dave, and then he called me and tell me funny. Sorry, but yeah, it's it's amusing. Look, it's probably annoying some people. Sean fucking loves it. I

think it's a little bit funny. I gotta prepare, he said to me. He goes, I don't look, are you gonna come and like anty sweat me on this? Or like I already know you're sending your kangaro he goes. He goes, I already know you're sending you people after me because Kyle Burns crushed me in the twenty five k He goes, what are you gonna get? Then he goes, is the Kangaroo Kangaroo crew going to be at the final table? Anti sweating? I'm like, buddy, I got

bigger plans than that. The twenty big bet mix kicked off. Can you give us an update on that? I still don't have Internet registration is still open. So there's a pretty pretty tough number that we have just s basically three hundred players feels n Last year we had three seventy seven. Uh Joikio won that for one hundred and ninety K. So probably trend I think you get a rebuyd this so probably trend up close to what we got last year. But we'll see some of these ones, you know, five percent up

or down. So we're about about in that ballpark right now. We didn't even know the chipway this stay one. Yeah, ODB had a lot of chips when I walked past him. But then he was in the tag team event. I think sitting with Daniel Lineman. Let's get a little quick refresh. Let's see we'll go there. All right, let's just move on to the tag team. Okay, you and I played. Yeah, we gave out fifty one percent pieces, so fifty people won one percent of our action.

That action is now worth zero dollars because we are out. We apologize. I busted us. It was one of those spots where we're gonna talk about some hands, but it was one of those spots where I just don't know how we busted by the way to them, A lot of my hands. Any hands really? Yeah? Any major ones? Well one one, I'm either fucking sick call Kenny. I'm sick fold Kenny Tran, or I'm

the biggest idiot in the universe, like one or the other. And I've asked a lot of people, and I think so far, seventy five percent is that I'm sickfold Kenny Tran. Twenty five percent is that I'm not that I'm an idiot, but I should have called. But yeah, you started. I started, I played an orbit and then subbed you in because you had to get you. I went off to the classes, and you had to go off the class. There was actually there was another person at the

table who was also in the colossus. Yeah, the guy in the full set. Yeah yeah, yeah, I start. He was also stuck for like twenty minutes. Yeah, he was also in the Colossus. So I play whatever. I tried to bluff early against a guy from I believe Japan who is going to play a big role on the hand. Later on you lost to him. Yeah, it was that guy. Oh my god, what do you think about that player? I thought he was good, a little good. I thought he was like a total I bet you no,

I mean, like, I think he knows what he was doing. He was a little bit aggressive. Bro. He kept he kept, he kept raising to like at when the blinds are two hundred, four hundred to one thousand, he would put a one K chip out there. He wouldn't say anything, and then it would get to somebody and somebody would say, like the two Japanese got two seats, And then somebody would be like the guy who was wearing like the Birdberry shirt in the two seat and somebody would be

like, is that a razor call? And he'd be like, he'd be like he kept saying ten. He'd be like ten, which is his thing for a thousand, and we're like, well, you didn't say anything. So he was total with us. He would be like, look, raise and put it in and place, maybe because he got yelled bass about because so I was thinking he had to be like a total recreational or not like

a total recreational, but he seemed recreational. So yeah, I tried to bluff him at one point, but whatever, and he raised me on the river. But whatever, he just had it. I'm assuming because there was a four line or two straight out there. He did that check raise river play a couple more times actually then, but he didn't check raise. I let, he didn't, I let heat and he raised. Then you sent me a hand that almost sent me on rage tilt. I mean this hand.

I'm reading the fucking hand you sent me. I mean this set. After I gave you the speech yesterday about the power jam and the John Jaffee, You're gonna bust the tournament. Just do what you think is right. You send me this f and hand history, and I could I can't believe what I read. So the blinds are hundred under the gun raises to one thousand, so he five xes it. Now which guy was under the gun? Was it the older one? The one, the younger one, the

younger one? Okay, you know he was like when I got there at fucking ten am, he had a beer. I never say I never saw any drinking beers. This guy has no idea. He never raises to one K to me, this isis okay, or jacks or tens because that's what people do with jacks or tens. So he raises to one K, so he five x is it? Two other people call see three calls in like middle position seat sick calls on the button. You have what in the small blind pocket? Queens? And what do you do? I call? What?

What are you? What are you thinking? This is how I play. I'm very passive, very nitty. You have and he also made a five x. So you have fourteen K fourteen point three k, yes, yeah, so you have Listen, I know you have palajam fifty bigs, I mean bigs The thing is is that it's it's seventy bigs and way too many bigs. Pala jam no, because there's so much money out there. Do you like three four? Do you like three bait voting? No? Never in a million years do you just jam? There's a raise to one

k and two calls. Just fucking stick your money in? Who cares? Like, what are these people gonna do? If they have it? They have it. I'm not gonna hate you for busting with the third best handed poker. What do I care? Okay? By calling your thought process is this, you're now basically set mining with queens, which is fucking egregious. Okay, So you can't do that because then what proceeds to happen makes it

even worse. When you like, when you take the queens and then you basically make them like pocket sixes and you're like, okay, I'm gonna set mine here. Okay. What happens next is why it's bad. Because the flop comes eight six deuce rainbow and you just check fold to the action. Okay, it's not just check fault. The action is check big blind lead

two ki bline has eight five for sure, like some stupid age. She was tie as he yeah, she has top hair, and he raises and then he raises it again because he's probably got two jacks in his hand or two tens, and he's like, I gotta protect my jacks. I hate jacks. I'm gonna five exit under the gun because I hate jacks. I'm surprised he probably in six exit and then you know, yeah, this was my From now on, I have to just I've played. I played a

lot better after this. I mean, this is just a horrific hand. It's just horrific. It's just so bad. I can't even like, you send me the hand history. I almost went on until in the Colossus I was like, I was about to tell you, like, just don't send me any more hand histories. I can't read them while I'm trying to play this tournament over, Like what I mean, what is this hand? This is? I mean, you've now had two of the all time worst folds

in the history of mankind on this podcast. The fucking straight or whatever. You had the south Point, and now this nonsense. It was three four in the small plane or something. Yeah, I don't know, but you can't. You can't be doing this stuff. Can't be doing this stuff. It looks like Donny's touching for a new Pontics. No, we're just gonna we have to. We have to. I tried to give you the pep talk yesterday, but I hit you with the pads the fucking I talked about

my power jam, how you just gotta believe in. I played more aggressive. I said, you gotta play aggressive. I said, you got like John Jaffee, you're gonna bust the tournament or just do do whatever, it doesn't matter. And then you go and hit me with this hand history. I mean, I did three big kings after this end. Thank god. I thought about flatting. Oh yeah, yeah, all right, so let me tell you about my hand away. Let's let's just continue to Sorry,

I'm down a third en k or something. I have kings that win little pot. Then I have a hand. I have jack tenn of hats on Nina spades, eight of hats, four hats. I sized up on the flop, I sized up on the turn. I thought a diamonds was a good chance. The action I don't even I raised got called. Basically it just heads up. But where was the positions under the gun vests? Big one I'm under the gun, under the gun jack tenna hats open under the gun, big wine defense. They're like, guy that a three stop.

Just size, I only need a size of the flop. Just go like, no, no, I think, just go small. Because you have so much equity, you can do whatever you want against the check. Raise you want. You kind of wanted to come along because you did anyway, turn I bet twenty. I remember I had twenty five hundred h and then river comes. It came the five of spades, So now six seven beats me only I only beat ten to seven, and he just leads all in and I fold, So that put me down to sixty eight hundred, and

then I get down to thirteen bigs. Pair Anda Fushow loses. And then that's when I tag you in. We've got ten ten, No ten bigs on the button. I doubled, then I doubled again to the Japanese guy twelve k and then you get it up to twenty three. I mean I got it up to more than that. No, no, but this is now where this hand you send me? Here? Which one's that song? What's that hand? Middle position opens eight hundred at the four hundred big blind

cold Barton, but you call them the big line. So you call button with five called five hearts. Yeah, I never played that hand. I played the ninety seven hearts out of small blind. Come on because you have money in there. Flop queen, ten deuce all spades, check around turn as the hearts, check around River five for ninemands. So you make five

is up, you bet twenty two hundred and you get one call. You win, You get up twenty eight K. Then that guy was not happy when I think, then you get down at twelve and a half K and you send me a text message I could be a max idiot lull and I don't. Yeah, so what happened? The Asian guy, who I think is a recreational raises to one thousand and four hundred big blind. I'm in the big mount King five off. I call. I have like twenty seven

K to start the hand. It comes eight five deuce rainbow, I check, he bets one K. I call turn is another five pairs of the board. I make trips two hearts. Now eight of hearts and the five hearts are out there. I lead twenty two hundred. He calls River is the queen. Queen of spades, I lead ninety four hundred into nine K, I have thirteen k behind. He jams I fold, Well, you bets so big because I just want max value and it makes it. I think it makes it easier if like I get jammed on like it makes it.

I mean, like I don't these players in a five hundred dollars per person tag team event thousand dollars mind, like they're not jamming like full pot sized bets on the river or like slight over bets. They're not jamming on them. I don't think with like bluffs. I mean, so, I mean, if I have ACE five, I probably call because I block him having ACE five. I had not seen this guy. If I had saw this guy once open like six or five suited, I would have fucking called.

But I never saw him open any of those hands. So like it was like, I don't think I can give him those hands. His obvious value hands are queens that he makes, you know, full house on the river, eights, maybe deuces, and then ACE five. I think those are like all his value hands. Ye. My general thought is that no

one ever bluffs in these tournaments. Ever. They always have it. Like even though like I think like I should call here because like I do beat some value like if this guy's just the other thing is that I have a king, So I'm blocking kings if he would decides to spas out with kings, like I'm blocking King Queen if he somehow like has King Queen, which I don't. I don't really think this guy would have King Queen at all,

so I just kind of ruled that out. So yeah, I just folded, and so as i'm I fold, yeah, and he's like about to pick his hand up, and I say, I bet you have two queens. And he looked like a deer in headlights when I said that, and then he put his hand back down and didn't like and he was like frozen. Mean, okay, I'll tell you what I thought it meant. So he puts it out. Let me tell you how he acted. He puts his hand back down. He like was like frozen. He like didn't

know what to do. And I said, do you have queens? And he like just kind of shrugged and like pushed his hand forward and then he like went to grab it and like possibly turn it over again, and I was like, turn it over. It's good for the game. And then and then he was like no, and like it gave me the sense that he was about to turn his hand over and I called it and he like got freaked out that I called it correctly, so he like looked like total

surprise. That's the sense I got the way that he ran. I like said, he was like so surprised see what he was doing that I like said what I said, what I said. Yeah, then I rushed off of it because you are max cidiot. And I was ready to tag in and play a couple more hands before my buss get it in with kings. Two hands later, I get it in with kings because my image was great. We had a great we had a great yin and yang going. You

went, I don't know what you were doing. I was literally in every fucking hand like never folding, like these people are looking at me, like these people were probably look at me like I was crazy. But I had like actually had halfway decent hands, like I had like nine eight suited ten eight touit like I had like decent hands to open and the whole time we were like seven handed, six handed, so we were short, so you just have to play more hands. But I was for sure in a lot

of hands. So then I found the kings after losing that pot. So I was like, oh, this is a perfect spot for me to just jam, and went raised call I jammed, They both called I tripled up there, and then the two A lady open nines got called three nine three nine opened to one k where I thought was I thought it was a good player, but I also thought I was gonna try too hard against me. He opens to one k at four hundred, I make it thirty one hundred.

I sized it a little bit larger because of where his stack was. I just wanted him to like think that he could four bet jam correctly. And then I was never folding. Was it the small blind or the button tanked for like a minute the European guy. We had two euros at our table, two euro teams that were tanking forever, and I wanted to lose my f and mind like, guys, come on, like what are we

doing here? So this guy tanks for Revan folds. The opener calls it comes seven to seven seven, Check, I go three k. He calls turn as a three, puts a second diamond out there. Check I checked back. I actually thought he might have aces a decent amount of time, and I said, well, you can obviously have high cards, you know, the Ace Kings of the War or sorry, Ace Queen of the World.

I didn't really think Ace King because I think we just get that in pre but I was like, he can have Ace Queen possibly maybe as Jack. Maybe he has like two sixes maybe, but I don't know two sixes, two five, something like that. For sure, thought fours or a fold if he has like threes. The three doesn't matter on the turn because there's seven seven seven out there, so it doesn't matter. So anyway,

then the rivers an eight off suit eight. He checks I put him in at that point, I know, like when he checks me on the reverie, I know he doesn't have me beat, so I just check and I'm trying at this point, I'm like, my image the way I've been playing this is gonna look probably bluffy and he might call me with Ace Queen high. Yeah, And I think he did, like I think, or I think he thought about like he said. He mumbled something under his breath and

was I think it was something about like the best handers something. I don't know the hell what he was saying, So then you kind of leave me with about thirty six thousand. At that point, I tag in and I basically fluff a flush. I had a small mine with seven nine of has multi way checked jam the turn she folds. Then I called a triple barrel

bluff with king high. That was good, completely small mine with king nine of spades, bot big ye. The checks jack seven off his ten to eight deuce one spade, I checked, call one k turns the FOURT space and I have a fust show. Check call eighteen hundred rivers the four of diamonds. I check, and he bets sixteen hundred, so really small. I feel like he was raising any ace and or pears, even a king. So I kind of beat all the other jaws. I don't think he

bets like the deuce on the river. I call beat jack high, and then I lose a few hands, get us, I get us up to fifty K, and then I think I left you with forty ish forty one. Yeah, a couple raisin raising sea bets didn't really go my way, and then I take over, So you take over. I get an update account of twenty one nine, and then an update of hours, So what happened, because I don't know what happened. One nine was just stupid.

I mean, like it's just a dumb spot. Maybe I'm an idiot, but whatever, under the gun raises to sixteen hundred at eight hundred, so min Rais folds to the cutoff new guy at the table. He seemed like a new like super old, like European guy, like he fucking lives on the French Riviera or some shit. He's like squeezing his cards like super hard,

Like oh, you know, he just looks ridiculous. So he says, he says raise, and he puts out two k. He didn't see the under the gun raised kind of so then so I'm like, well, you have to raise twenty four hundred. So now he makes it and he's like he's pissed, and I'm like, what the hell is this? So he's like mad that this happened. So he makes it twenty four hundred.

The button calls I'm in a small Man with Queen nine of hearts. So I'm like, okay, the way that the under the under the gun was acting like, it didn't seem like he was like he was just gonna call it seemed like he was just gonna call, Like it didn't seem like he was Like if he would have just like been sitting there like super solid, like get getting waiting for the action to get back to him, I would have been like, Okay, this guy's gonna fucking re raise. But he

was just like kind of laughing with everything that was going on. So I was like, well, he's just for sure falling. So I'd call with the Queen. I hearts and like if I hit something good, maybe I can win a massive pot because of this thing that just happened. Like I have no idea what this guy has because like he he just wanted to raise normal, so like he could have like ace queen like he you know he could or he I mean he could obviously have aces, Like who knows.

So I call the big Blind calls under the Gun calls. So there's there's five of us in the hand. The pot is massive. It comes nine high with one heart, comes nine to five to four with one heart. Check to that guy who just puts his chips in like picks him up and slams them in for like tend like he's just pissed. And now I'm like well I have top pair, yeah, but one heart out there, so

I have bet my hearts. So I'm like, is he just mad because he'd messed up pre flop and now this happened, Like so does he just like have ace king And he's like so tilted at himself that like he messed up. So I call everyone else full he's got kings and I lose. So it's like whatever, it's just kind of a dumb spot. I mean,

another think that's hard. I guess like a fold pre but like I didn't know the way that he was acting when he messed up wasn't Like it just seemed weird, Like I don't know, I didn't I didn't get I thought he could have been very strong, yes, but I also thought he could have like had like an ace queen was like just trying to raise a normal amount being from the cutoff, and like he just messed up and now he's annoyed that he can only min raise it. So like it just seemed

like a very weird thing overall. Anyway, So I lose that hand. So that's when I was down to whatever then plus one at same big blind eight hundred, I look down, I see two queens. I raised the seventeen hundred. The button calls, and the big blind calls Big Blind. The same guy calls, the same guy that just had the kings. It comes nine to seven deuce Rainbow checks, Big Blind checks. I bet twenty

two hundred button folds. This guy calls, turn is the aid of clubs nine seven deuce eight with two clubs now nine in the aid of clubs. I don't have a Queen of clubs. I have Queen of spades, Queen

of hearts. He checks, I have eighteen k I'm just like in my head, I'm like this fucking board like he like this guy feel like just has like like he has like nine seven, he has like nine eight like, but I'm also like, I can't I have to bet my hand, Like there's I have to deny equity here, Like I can't not, you

know, even if he has two pair, like I can't. I guess I have outs, you know, Like It's just it was just an annoying spot and because I was like, okay, if I if I checked behind and then he just like bombs the river, I'm in fucking no man's land and I have to call it off right on good rivers. It's not a bad rivers too. Well, yeah, I know there's a lot of bad

rivers. But that's also why, like I need to done e equity because if he just has like if he has like jack nine, yeah, I can't just like give him a free card or if he has like I don't know, seven with two clubs, like, I can't just give him a freak. So anyway, so I bet six k, he puts me in and I call it off. He has nine to eight like I knew he

had, and I brick out. But it's like it's like one of those dumb spots where like I know that once this guy check raises me, like I know, I have to call it off, but I also know that like these people don't check raise here, Like I just know that, like he has two pair, like I know he has it, but I can't not, I can't fold. It's just annoying. So that's always I don't fucking know five or some shit before I don't fucking I mean five potentially get

away from well, yeah I could, but I'm not. It doesn't matter. We'll get him next to you, oh yeah yeah, but yeah, but it's fun. I'm curious about my king five foot. I mean I think in hindsight, I think in hindsight it was the right fold. I mean, these people just never fucking bluff. I mean, what are the bluffs that this this guy has, like the only sorry, the only sorry? What are the what's the value? I don't think he ever bluffs first of all, So I just roll value hands. What value hands do I

be? I mean aces, jack five suited? Never he never raises jack five suited this guy, this guy, Yeah, these guys don't. These guys don't raise these guys seven. Like he doesn't even have Like he doesn't have queen five jack five ten five he has he might have Ace five, Yes, Like that's the hand he gets five? Is it right? Five six suited? Is that it? Well? Five six shooter or four or five student? Yeah? But like I hadn't seen him raise those hands.

I honestly think this guy would probably just put four or five suited in the muck because that's what these players do, Like, they don't raise those hands. Is he just gonna yolo with fucking queen? Okay? Ace Queen is is weird because so he calls the turn when I lead with Ace queen unless he has Ace Queen of Hearts, and then and then but but if you have Ace, Queen of Hearts, like why why are you jamming the river?

There's no point jamiing the river. Maybe he's like trying of value jam Maybe he thinks he has the best hand and you have like ace king these people like I feel like when they just don't like also, I feel like with aces, like like he'd probably just raise the turn. I mean, it just nothing made sense to me in this hand, like when when he jams the river, like I just you know, I think he just has all the value that beats me and it just sucks because but yeah, I

mean, maybe I'm a stone cold idiot. I mean a lot of people said, like a lot of people responded. I sent the message to probably twenty five people, and a lot of people were like, he just has it. You know a lot of people said he just has it. But I call, I'm like, well, that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. If he fucking has it, then he has it. Fold did you put the queens to your loss? You bust that hand in like Gto was in, Yeah, it's fine, perfect, perfect. I mean the King

five hand. I think is good to put my queen's hand in. JT was in No, I'm gonna put that hand g was Plus I don't think I can do it with like a five x race. So it just messes everything up. I did like how we ran it roped from three k back up to fifty the Yeah, gave it a shot, gave it a shot. Yeah, they just they screwed us, man, It's just how it is rigged. They gave the guy who's playing every hand trips and then they decided to have old boy probably have a full house. Just frustrating. So

yeah, we'll get him next time. I guess what's on tomorrow. Yeah. I still don't have the internet, so that's fine. We've got two massive events. First one fifty K pop limit Oh maha, Hi, roll up? What did it get last year? Uh? Two hundred? Because I said it before. That was the one one by Jesse Lonas for two point three million dollars two hundred. I don't know why. I thought he won three million in sports but and then this is the potentially your event.

Sorry wait, how many did he get last year? Two? Three? No entry, it'll get to forty. It's a big number. What did the fifty k nole git losie no this year? Because the twenty five k poll beat the twenty five k NOL limit by a pile, by like one hundred and sixty entries, So I'm curious. I'm seventy seven. It's going to smash that. And the other good is it's yeah, the same as high lovel one came Many main event tomorrow. Yeah, I'm not playing that.

You're not playing that one? Okay, Well, I'm gonna do a commentary on the PLO event alongside Remco and Jane Nandes is going to be in the booth from PLO Mastermind, so that'll be good. He's super super sharp. I'm going to be playing the main event on the third Friday. When's one CE Friday? I think Friday? It starts on yeah, it starts on Wednesday, so Friday. Yeah. I got my random player of the day to day. Tell me if this is random in the mister Bownie Okay,

okay, I haven't seen him all summer. That's my clue. Punts chips in High ICM main events, Spots punts chips in High ICM main events. Spot This is good. This is fun for bank. Yeah, game over. I mean that was a little random him twice. Yes, if you said if you had said I don't know, I was going to say he did it twice. That was my next one. Yeah, I saw him in the in the ten K mister Bownie, and that was a little surprising. I haven't seen him all summer. Okay, Yeah, that was

it. I mean the mini main events will probably draw a ridiculously good number just based on fifty two hundred and fifty seven players last ye five hundred and fifty k for first look up my hending, I think I cashed in that at the last are right was definitely. I think I cashed it last year and I cashed it at the Rio. So I missed the year twenty twenty two seven hundred and thirty six place for sixteen hundred bucks and then twenty twenty

one one hundred and fifteen thirty four hundred year. I didn't cash this year two in a row though twenty one twenty two. It's for Yeah, I like that event. It's a good event. Freeze out one K, you're get into the money. It's a difference. It's thirty minute levels instead of two hours, right, is that what it is? I don't even know. And that's that's a great event. I love it. It's three days. You're in the money on day one. It's a decent structure, you

know, give it given the price points. I like the freeze out aspect to it's you know, I do like you know, the Glad years, the colsses, et cetera, where you're allowed a couple of re entries.

You know, I think that that's fine. I also think it's fine that you have the mini main event like this, So you know, I like it, But got got work and then just getting ready for the main event because so Remco and I, alongside Jane Ends are going to do a commentary on the PLO tomorrow and then Remco and I are going to be in the booth for Day one A of the main event and Day one B of the

main event. Also day one D. I'm taking off on Day one C. A lot of stuff coming up. We are getting close to the main events. I can't wait. I can't wait to get the buzz in here. I can't wait to see how big that number is going to get. I was talking to some of the tournament directors the other yesterday and they said that their new projection is ten thy two hundred. Sounded like they were given

that from like the WSP, like this is the new project projection. So I don't know what to exactly make of that, other than that it's the tournament'st aff. Now, if the tournament staff comes to me and they say the new projection is eleven thousand, five hundred, I'll just say that you're fucking crazy, and I'll just walk away, like word, you get that number for me, you just pull it off in air. But ten two hundred, you know, is you know, it's just light up took over

last year ten thousand and forty three. So I don't think it's too crazy. I did talk to some other people who think, you know, it's probably gonna get a little bit less than it got last year. But I can you know, I've said this already on this podcast a couple episodes ago. I can see it going either way. I think one of the really

good signs is this mystery bounty. Definitely, I mean people are blasting in ten If people are willing to just blast in ten K right before the main event, I mean, let's go, let's go there's a lot of people out here for Colossus, so maybe there's some carry over there, you know, one there, there could be carryover where people come out for the Colossus.

Maybe they play a couple of satellites then they get in that way, or maybe they run deep, they hit a ten K score or something, you know, win a few thousand bucks, spurge a little bit more fire into the main event. You know, you got two twenty five seat scrambles on WSP dot com. So yeah, overall, like, I think it'll be a good number. I think it can rival last year. The potential is there, so I'm sticking with my number of like right around I think

I said ninety five hundred. That's kind of like my number. And then yeah, we'll see. I think one A will tell us a lot. I also think I get the sense that more people might be playing one A than in past years, Like now at the rather point of the summer, when people are like, oh, you know, what day are you playing? What day are you playing? I've heard a lot of one A, a lot of one A. So I don't know if that's just because people

are itching to play and they want to get in there. I don't know if it's because people really love the whole days off that you get with that, because you play one A, you get three days off before you got to play your Day two, and then you get a day off and then you come back. I mean that's also kind of why I pick one C. You know, I can play one C. If I advance, I get a day off, then I can play day two. If I advance, I get a day off, and then you play day three. So

I like breaking it up like that. I don't I personally don't play Day one A because if I were to bust on Day one, god forbid I do. I don't think I could bust Day one A and then like watch the next three days. It would it would just like, you know, just kind of eat you alive the year out of it. But if I bust one C, yeah, then I'm like, well, I only gotta

watch one more day whatever. Plus when you when you bust one C, you already know a bunch of people who busted one A and one B, so you don't feel as bad, like if you have some friends, you're like, well, at least I'm not the first. If I play I'll play max Light Registers on day two. Day well, you get like sixty bigs. If you do that, you get sixty bigs. Kim Kilo stuff. I'll take sixty bigs. I'll take on this. Okay for a coffee, I already boy, you one today. Yeah, but there was no

bet. I just asked you and you got it. You could have said no and then would then I would have said, Okay, sit down and play this tournament. I'm gonna go get a Oh. I gotta talk about the guy in the Colossus who didn't know his name. So we are so do find out how how much you get to start day two if you're enter right at the beginning of the day two and then also at the end of

registration look that up. So we're getting ready to start the Colossus. Sometimes in these really big fields you get players that they don't bring their slip, they don't know what seat they're at, like all this sort of stuff. Charlie Serrasi, the lead tournament supervisor, gets on the microphone beforehand and he's like, we we have a you know, can everyone look around for a

bag or a slip with no name on it? Because he said, because this gentleman doesn't know his name, so the player didn't know his name. He did also didn't like know his seat, he didn't know his he didn't know his chips, like I don't know, he didn't know anything, I guess, And Charlie was like kind of like poking fun of him, like you know, like I get it to struggle out there, you know, but let's help this guy out like whatever, you know, like Charlie is,

it's just funny this guy. When I'm like an hour and twenty minutes into the day, when my table broke and I moved, I saw this guy. I mean it must have been this guy because he was walking with like a tournament staff like and you tell the tournament is yeah. It got like Charlie got back on the mic after like ten minutes and was like, okay, like we're just gonna have this guy walk around and like look at stacks Like I'm like, what shouldn't they be a stack not with no one

sitting at it? Yes, but there was like there was a stack at my table where no one was sitting at it. But and so the tournament's aft were going around to all the tables finding the stacks that people hadn't shown up yet. But the thing was is that this guy claimed he didn't know his name and then he like, Hi, yeah, he for sure had I mean he had to be on something. How do you not know your name or whatever? Like he obviously didn't have ID on him or like anything.

But it's also like, I just don't understand, like that seems like a weird procedure, Like can I just walking off the street and be like, Hey, I'm in this tournament. I don't know my name or my seats or really anything, but I'm in this tournament. So it was just very interesting that it was happening. So yeah, So that to kick off the day, coupled with the fact that there was almost a fight between a player and a security guard, it was a pretty fun start to the day.

In US, saw me a coffee because it's fifty bigs. Fifty bigs, damn it, that's still a ton of It's a lot. Yeah, you get when you start the day seventy five bigs. Oh my god, it's so many chips. It's so many chips. You can if you skip one, how gonna start the whole tournament with? If you skipped day one, you basically can save ten hours of play three hundred bigs. Yeah, I mean, I'm not skipping day one ever in this tournament. I'm going to be there. Hand one starts at eleven am, right, I'm pretty

sure they changed it at twelve twelve o'clock SAT. Yeah, it was changed last year. Yeah, I got changed this year, but I thought didn't it wasn't it twelve? And then it got changed to eleven. Now it's back to twelve is a couple of years ago. I think it changed back to eleven. I like eleven. Yeah, I don't mind eleven. If you get out of here, this means we have to be herelated to record, like it's kind of annoying. But I don't mind the eleven start for

this tournament. I think eleven is probably the the ideal start time for most tournaments. Like I think ten am is tough. I mean even I think it's tough. Yeah, I mean it's it wouldn't be as tough for us. I would I could easily get up and like I'm I'm up well before ten, but like being here late and doing stuff like that, you know, me getting up dealing with the kids in the morning whatever. Ten ten is pushing it. Yeah, I mean I even came in today at ten

oh six, but they had started late, so whatever. Yeah. But oh also I got a thought on the tag team I'll get to in a second, but I think eleven's that nice middle ground because ten, you know a lot of people that are like this is way too early. Twelve it's like kind of feels too late. At least for me, it feels too late. I know poker players love it, but it still feels late. So I think eleven is a nice little middle ground feels good. Just quickly.

On the tag team event, they should like move the tables around for the tag team event space it out, put extra stanchions like all over the place that people can like really sweat. I mean you have the issue where well everyone wants to sweat. I mean this is the most fun event of the summer just in terms of, like, you know, just the the atmosphere. People are sweating, like and everyone's walking into the rain to the

tournament area and they're constantly annalancing. You have to be out, you know, it's like over and over and it's just it's just it's a madhouse. So like make it just much better where you can sweat. So yeah, it's gonna take a little bit of work the night before, having people move some tables, put some stanchions up and whatever. But I think for this

event you should just go that little extra effort. You know. It's almost like have a row of tables, then have like down the middle, or like you have two roads tables, but then down the middle it's widened mm hm, and then like that's where people can stand and then like you do that like kind of repeated. It's like basically like a w so where you can walk down the aisle, but at the bottom at least the ts can come up and down. It doesn't matter what it is, but whatever it

is, like like everyone should be able to sweat like every table. Like I think that that's well, it's fun. I think it creates a really good atmosphere. Yeah. I also think it's a little bit more fair. We were right on the rail we got lucky two years yeah, right, we've been on the road, but literally you were three feet from me, you know, so like I can just turn around and be like hey, whatever, like other people are like way in you know, like it just

kind of sucks. So just make it so that everyone like there every table is on some sort of rail and there's a bunch of stuff where people can you know, go in and out of. I think that that would be a little bit better overall for the for the tag team events specifically, And yeah, you know it take a little bit extra work, but I think it would go a long way. But anyway, that's gonna do it for us. We went a little bit long today, but you know, not

long enough in the tournament though. Oh damn, oh my god. All right, well that's gonna do it for us. Tomorrow will be or sorry today July second, when we talk, I want to do a I want to talk about some main events stuff. So okay, bring any main event stuff you have. I got it off stats. I'm gonna look through like you know best like average finish or whatever. Remember we talked about that, like you basically said Ben Lamb is not good, which whatever. Anyway,

you should specifically look up Sean Deep's average main event finished. I mean, like, how deep is Sean Deep gone in the main event? What was that year where he had that a six hand versus on the feature table? That was it? Heinzelmann? Yeah, Max Honz that was that Deep? I can't remember I actually, I don't think it was. Like I think it might have been like Day four or something like in the money, but

like not super deep. It's all it's it's so funny because you look back on this tournament like stuff like this, when you're like, was it deep? Was it not deep? And it's like it's day four or it's day five, and it's like kind of deep and you're in the money, but it's also not deep because this tournament is so long thin deep? Is is day six cash cash? You say I went deep in the WSPU main event, I would say I would say you can. You can probably get away

with Day five for sure. Day six, Day six definitely. Yeah, Day five is the Yeah. If you make day seven, I mean you're basically at the found table. I mean you're now day seven, you're talking day seven. You you start, you can say stuff like I made the top hundred. Yeah, you know, like it's it's a quantifiable like numbers like that, I made the top hundred. Okay, don't need to say you're deep, you're just top hundred. Yeah, all right, cool,

that's gonna do it for us. Mendame is Donny Peters. His name is Tim Duckworth and we'll talk to you guys later. So yep, Jenny Express
