Hello, everyone, Welcome back to a new episode of the Poker Go Podcast. My name is Donny Peters. His name is Tim Duckworth. Guess what, buddy, what buddy? We are four for four of going with daily shows. We have not failed yet. Hi five, that's right, let's go. I hope everyone heard that nice high five between the boys over here on today's show. I'm also far from farm working out, so am I Actually that's even more impressive. Let's let's be honest. We know what the

als are like here. Yeah, I mean I feel like the working out in the morning has helped me. I've just been riding the peloton every morning for twenty or thirty minutes, and it's been It's been good. It's a bitch. I mean, you gotta just like you got to force yourself to do it. I just want to crawl back in bed. But where is your peloton? I get it in my bedroom. Okay, that makes it

even hotter to not just jump off and get into bed. But my schedule is we get home at about what it depends on mid night to one. Last night, I got home at one. I wake up at six to six thirty because I have to bring the kids to school. My wife goes to work. She leaves the house at six, So sometimes I'll lay in bed for about an extra half hour until my son hits me in the face or something and wakes me up. Their school opens at seven, so I

try, and I try and get them there at seven oh one. Faster I get them there, the faster they're out of my hair, and then I can do what I want come home. You know, you might think I would then crawl back into bed, but at that point I've been up for like an hour and a half. I'm up. I'm awake. No, I think it'll throw everything off. Plus I got stuff to do for work and whatnot, So you know, it is what it is. Anyway, back to the matter at hand, that is the twenty twenty four World

Series of Poker. We're gonna talk about the conclusion to the five hundred dollars WSP kickoff event won by Daniel Willis. We have the final four set in the twenty five thousand dollars Heads Up Championship. The Dealer's choice is pushing towards a final table. Tim's favorite person, Sean Deep is in the mix still, as are some other notable players. That we'll touch on there. The Omaha High Low Tournament is. I mean, it feels like that tournament's gonna

go over seventeen days. They've been playing the final day today. They're still over at the final table right now. We are not gonna wait till that ends. We'll just talk about it tomorrow. We'll update you with where they're at by time we get to it, and then we'll move on. You wrote down huge Mystery millions day one b Field. I didn't even look at the numbers yet, so I did, so we're gonna touch on that.

You also wrote down two new WPT winners Crown. I had no idea the World Poker Tour was happening because for some reason they decided not to lie stream these two events. Very weird choice. But it is playing in a remote location with TV cameras. Yeah, I don't really understand, but yeah, and then you wrote down other tournaments, so we'll talk about other tournaments.

I guess I don't know what that means. That was actually left over from uh oh yesterday, But I was like, did we go over everything we can? Throwing the limit? Hold them both, throw on the limit, hold them. We'll touch on the five thousand dollars PLO that kicked off today as well, and then we'll, uh, we'll call it quits. Sounds like a pretty good episode if you ask me. This episode of the Poker

Girl podcast is brought to you by Octopi Poker. Octopi Poker is building your path to poker mastery with a fun, social, and affordable way to learn poker. Designed by the best poker minds. All right, first things first, Daniel Willis wins the five hundred dollars DISIP Kickoff Tournament. Three thousand, four hundred and eighty

five entries in this one, it was a freezeout tournament. Willis came into today the final day of play. He was the chip leader with eight players remaining. He battled his way to heads up play with two Timebasip Egal Bracelet winner Michael Wang. Willis ends up coming out on top. He lost the chip lead for I don't know, maybe a dozen hands, like if that you know, it really was Willis and Wang who showed out at the final table. They were the top two stacks for ninety nine percent of today's final

table. And if you guys missed the action or you want to relive it, you can find the dream on PokerGO dot com or on the poker Go YouTube channel. Pretty quick one so you know you can get through it pretty easily. Took about an hour and a half hour, forty five minutes something like that. In and out Willis had I believe it was one doubasip cash coming into this event. So this this victory a huge one for him, gets his first dibsipa gold bracelet. He also pockets one hundred and seventy five

thousand, five hundred and seventy eight dollars in prize money. As I mentioned, Michael Wang denied a third dobsipa gold bracelet. Michael Wang won a five K back in twenty fifteen for like four hundred and forty six thousand, and then he won a five K in twenty twenty two for I believe it was five hundred and forty thousand, five hundred and fifty thousand something like that.

Michael Wang been around for a long time, tournament grinder, very good plays a bit in the studio on the Poker Go Tour events, so good on him to make that run. Second place one hundred and seventeen thousand dollars score for him. This was the tournament that Daniel Legron you placed sixteenth in. Deep runs are also had by Marco Johnson finishing in forty seventh, and Ryan

Reese finished somewhere in the sixties. Deep run by Reese the Beast. The final table was, I mean it was kind of as as you would expect, like wait, yeah, I mean at that point of this type of tournament, as you see with a lot of these you know, sub one thousand dollars do resip events. I mean, you get to the final table, it's like you just got to find a hand and go with it. You know, you're just getting your money in. There's not a whole lot of post fop play, but that's just how it is, you know.

I thought Willis stayed fairly aggressive as he should with the chip lead. He did pick up kings at a nice time when Yoshi Funayama, I believe was the gentleman's name, I forget exactly, so forgive me believe he moved all in under the gun and Willis picked up two kings. Funyama had jack ate off the kings held and that was a big pot for Willis. Then heads up play he got Willis. This is Willis got unlucky on the first hand. Michael Wang hit the river with a with a king six. He hit

a six on the river. Willis had ace queen. But then it was a flush for Willis against top pair, top kicker for Michael Wang. That was a very very big pot that gave Willis a full double up and allowed him to take a very commanding chip lead. Wang was left with about seventeen big blinds, maybe a little bit more, and then it was over. Shortly thereafter Willis ended up. He flopped second pair two Wang's top pair. There was betting to the river. On the river, Wang checked and that's

when the board paired with a jack and Willis had a jack. Willis moved all in. Wang tanked for quite some time. There was a possible straight out there. I believe it was ace jack ten to seven jack, two clubs on the flop. Third club came in on the turn, so Michael Wang had ace four ace five I believe, so pretty much a pure bluff catcher. I mean it was a pure bluff catcher. There are straights out

there. There was obviously trips with the jack. There was a flush possibility as well, So after a couple of minutes in the tank, Michael Wang ended up calling it off on the river and that was all she wrote for him again, Michael Wang taking one hundred and seventeen thousand dollars for his finish in second place. But the victor in this one, Daniel Willis thirty nine year old businessman out of the UK. He's taken home his first coveted WSP

Eagle bracelet and one hundred and seventy five thousand dollars in Prizeming. All right, moving on to the twenty five thousand dollars heads Up Champion. What do you got for me here? Who's left? Sixty four started Heads Up Championship. Let's just get the name right. What did I say? Well, first of all, you said head up Championship, so I'm sorry, and then then you just said the heads up Champion. So maybe Richard producer rich might better correct me. But unless I'm going deaf, by the way,

who is the bubble he's mashing? According to our group chat mashing the stone bubble. So heads up championship. Yeah, sixty four. We're down to the final four. We had two matches today. The sad, sad story about this is that John Smith fifth place? Why is it so sad? He a big deal, which is awesome, but I just wanted him in the final four again. I wanted him to get to be honest, no offense to big John Smith. I kind of wanted him to get another second.

I wanted some like a rush of results. Do you have his results of we did it yesterday? But what I'm going to say, he's just his head's up, like get me canceled? But here we go? Oh my god, please, We're only four episodes in. Do you really want to get us canceled this early? And I'm just saying, listen, I love John Smith. I love this story. Yes, but he gets a heck of a lot of flowers for never having actually won the event. Buddy, I'm just saying. I'm just saying. I mean, right, I

mean right, come on, I mean, I know we joke. You know it's the John Smith Invitational. He obviously crushes it, yes, but he hasn't won it yet. Man twenty fourteen, eleventh place, all right, twenty sixteenth runner up, twenty seventeen runner up, twenty twenty four fifth, Find me someone with better heads up results of the World Series of Poker, John Now, now now that I said that, now that you ran through those results, I'm going to spend way too much time tomorrow putting all

the results together, all the twenty five k and her ten kas. A chance that's been a lot of them. Has that? No? I mean easy, could easily do it. Yeah, and we'll see, We'll see how you have fun with that one. Find find me someone with than John Smith's results. I'm just I'm just saying it's get out of here. It's something that you know, we obviously latch onto. You're saying he has to win for it to be called the John Smith Invitational. Is that kind of

the underlying point here? I mean, yeah, right, I mean, like second, second, fifth, damn. I love John Smith. I want him to win this damn thing so bad. In a way, I kind of feel like it's, you know, he's starting to get a pretty big monkey on his back, you know, because he he continues to perform successfully in this tournament. He gets so close, but he hasn't gotten over that hump, So like, can we just get him over that hump?

You know, it's he's clearly shown that he has the skill to compete in this event, which is a very tough, very competitive, very prestigious tournament at the World Series of Poker, high By and all that sort of stuff.

Let's just get him to that winner circle, you know, Like I wonder, and I mean, you'll will have never like be able to prove this or know this, But like I wonder if it creeps into his mind, like when he gets like, you know, when he gets there and he's like, does he think like, Okay, I gotta close it this

time? I mean that's only natural. We're all human, right, Yeah, you're like, okay, I gotta like, I gotta do it this time two matches away, like I got come on, let's you know, and then you ultimately foreshort, I don't know, I mean, John Smith doesn't strike me as someone who were who would get affected by that sort of thing. But as I said, you know, everyone, he's like, all right, I'll be back here in three hundred and sixty five days and

I'll get another cash in this. But yeah, John Smith finishing fifth. He was the final match to conclude today's play. He lost to Darius Samuel Darius, who's gonna play Arta Matrozion tomorrow in the Final four up on the main stage. This will be the first match that we will be live streaming

on Pokago. One pm Pacific time on Saturday will be for oz Jak versus Nikolai Mamout and for those that want to watch this on Saturday, we're gonna basically have the the Ferras match for three levels, particular short break We're gonna switch in the Yata versus Darius match. If you know, this tilts me If I know, but is that why you're running through exactly how we do We're gonna get tilted on how we do it. Let me finish it. Then we show both matches. Producer Rich Mutie, I'm gonna then throw it

to you and I'll tell you why you're right is wrong. But but if the matches are still going, we're gonna switch them. If they're still going in two hours, we're gonna switch them again, back and forth. We think that's the fairest way for final four players. All guaranteed one hundred and eighty k second prize three hundred K, first five hundred K, and before Donnie gets into his rant, I want to commend the WSP for these payouts

beautifully clean payoss. First thing that I saw it was like five hundred and nine and seventy eight. It is here, It's five hundred, three hundred and one eighty one. It's it's chef just beautiful Donnie flores Ya's vendor. I'm just saying that they should treat it like when you're watching the Champions League, for example, both matches going on at the same time. That's what

we're doing. No, but we're not showing both in full. We're like we're like moving one up or you know what I mean, like stream both people have the option to go. Yeah, I agree with that. Yeah, I thought you were going on it. I thought you were going to go to the previous rant that we discussed when we're behind the can Okay, different times. What I'll say is that the way we do it is not optimal and we need to talk to about it. Okay. That that's my

rant. You know, I think people want to see this, man, I think people love this event, so let's you know, show more of it. That's my that's my rant there. I will also say that you know this is this isn't on the rundown. But I'm gonna ask you, you're the tournament guru, guy, do you think they should have another heads up tournament? I think they should have a five hundred dollars buying heads up tall five hundred dollar But then I have enough pe finish on WSP dot com

that comes back with the final eight. We should have it. I was about to say we should have a thousand dollars buying same concept on WSP dot com. We should have five thousand. They have a thousand dollars buy and one at Borgotta every year. Ye was part of like some series. But

WSP can handle this now, I believe. But what you do is you set it up for this heads up week where the five hundred comes back on hypothetic days here Monday, Tuesday, the one K one comes back on you know, Wednesday, Thursday, the bigger five k buying one comes back on Friday, Saturday, and then on that Saturday or the sorry the Sunday you start the twenty five k, the live one. You know, I really like your your idea of doing a very small buy and one inaccessible price point.

But starting it online, think, especially with the launch of the new software, get it down to I maybe you want to get it down to four I did I did you crunch the numbers? Hut this whole online to live hybrid stuff, which this would be a perfect fit for you. You have to obviously give some time for travel, but ideally you're basically you know, you're gonna have a pretty cool bracelet event. I think I think a lot of people would play play these. It's also fun. I do like

heads up tournaments. Do you think so you said, what five hundred? If we really want to think about this, maybe maybe it is five hundred. Then maybe we do like a see I would say fifteen hundred, but WSP seemed to like the thousand dollars buying. Yeah, right, so maybe it's five hundred. Maybe it's you know what, maybe it's maybe it's a five hundred no limit, it's a one thousand PLO and then it's a five

K no limit. Do you think they should have a one at a bigger buying than twenty five k live hunter K the one hundred K Heads Up Championship. You know we've discussed this on the PGT a little bit. I mean, I'm just I just don't think they'll get you know, what's it gonna be. It could be a bracket of sixteen, maybe eight. It's it's a tough thing. They could get thirty two. I don't know, man, I I'd love to say, yeah, let's do it. I just

I think it'd be better going the other way. I think it'd be better to be all like, you know, do some hybrid events. I think a five K online hybrid event could be pretty pretty awesome. You know, obviously you might have to put some caps on there so there are no buys. I hate. I hate the buys. I hate the you know, how you get the rebate? Remember that year they did the rebate if you if you made it through. I don't like that. I do like a

clean bracket. So maybe the five K is you know, one twenty eight. Maybe the one k is you know in that three four, five hundred range, whatever the factor of the bracket is, and then the five hundred one. You could probably just do an uncapped and maybe give some rebates because it won't matter at the end point. But yeah, I think hopefully next year we see some improvements to heads up tournaments of the WSP. If any of our listeners agree and would like to see some more heads up tournaments,

let us know. Stop Jack in the hallway, say Jack. You guys can Tim Brilliant to hit it up. You guys can hit us up on social media. Let us know donnye underscore, Peters, Tim Underscore Underscore, Duckworth, or you can send an email into podcast at pokergro dot com let us know your thoughts. Or hey, if you hate heads up tournaments you don't want to see any of them, let let us know that too. We're all for interacting with you guys out there. Moving over to the fifteen

hundred dollars Dealer's Choice. We hit on this one quickly yesterday because it did have a big bump in field size. It went from four hundred and something to five point thirty, so big bump. There are they still on dinner break right now? I just came back. Actually, okay, Johnny World, John Hennigan is up on top. If these chip counts are right, could be questionable. We got duped yesterday that there was two James Chen's in the Omaha. It was actually only one, but he has a huge chip

stack and a huge lead over there in this event. Almost one hundred and forty thousand dollars up top in this one. Jeff Madson's in there with the big stack, Victor blom Roland, Israel Lashvili, Lawrence Brandt, Sean Deeb, Tim's favorite. Teased it off the top, but Sean Deeb is still over there doing things. Alan Lee, Alan Lee was on our list of cheap value. Yeah you said, you said during the it was either during the mix game series or the PLO series over at the studio and he walked

in. You said, how about this guy? Put him on the list. We did put him on the list. Ultimately didn't pull the trigger on him, but you know, good for Alan Lee. Phil Huiz over there battling. I see Benny Glauser is over there battling as well. Jerry Wong just busted not too long ago. So looks like there's thirty thirty two players left. So they're going to need what day is this today? Day three? No? No, today's day two? Oh yeah, they're gonna play

down to a quote as deep as they can get. I guess the final table or whatever. They'll come back tomorrow and they will finish it up. They are. They are deep into the money in that tournament. So we'll have more on that as we go. Moving over to the five thousand dollars PLO, what did we say yesterday for numbers? Because this is six ninety two. I was above you. I think, I said, I think you might be. This is a massive number. I mean, obviously this

number was gonna be great. PLO is hot. PLO is sizzling, baby, That's what it is. Take me to the f and sizzler, let's go. And you said that, No, I actually thought of a Pepin yak plate, hot flight and someone cooking me up. So we're going to Sizzler. I mean, what do you want me to say? The players are on their final break right now. This is probably the break, yeah, I mean what number they should get? What a number? I mean? Pilow is hot, man. Everyone wants to play it. They're all

out there battling. Can I tell you something I'm really mad about WSP dot com loud reporting. What's that is that when a tournament is still like registration is still open, they don't put the entries like on the website. They just put TVD and because it is TVD. Yeah, but they should just leave prize for TVD. But tell me how many entries they are, because that's the fact. So now I'm like, I'm guessing you doing the same.

Are you going to Bravo to put up the clock? I mean they they should just integrate like the Bravo stuff into that particular part of the website, right, I mean they are already working with Bravo everywhere. Yeah, they have over the place. They got Bravo on the tables for they got the Bravo is link to Bravo. That's how they update the numbers and the and stuff. But I'm saying, yeah, that's the they disabled until registration

clo. But currently, as of sixteen minutes remaining in the final break, this is the end of registration break, they have seven hundred and twenty six entrance. The Bravo cluck says, lovely, So yeah, pretty pretty pretty big tournament. Yeah, many months ago, of course. I mean the potlaman oas hot. What do you want to say, free Johndan is one of the big stacks. Philip Sternheimer Anson saying, Scott sever Anthony Zeno,

Shao Samao, Bin Wang Wing Po louse Chance Corneth. You're laughing because that's another you know, mystery names off Yang Wang. I have no I because he's no idea who no, no, that was lost never badge. I'm a WSP poker, so I can see the badges. Is is why I'm on Poker News. Brian Rast is in there. Looks like Alex Fox and Jesse Lowinis, Matthew Wantman, Steven Chidwick and Tyler Brown. You know who else got in there? You know else decided to show up finally as a

poker and only took him a week. Yep, I know who you're about to say, you Ivy. It's about time, buddy. I didn't know if you knew. But there's a poker tournament going on. It's a pretty big one, something that you've won ten of. You're finally here. Thanks for showing up. After schmoozing and shaking hands with Tiger Woods. W BT had a Tiger Wizard. Yeah, I saw more pictures and updates on on Tiger's Poker Night than I did on their two. Wptfound that they have should

have been Shoot, you should have been. Yeah, Ivy's out there somewhere. We'll see how he does. And we'll see how much he plays. But kind of came strolling in late. You sent a photo to me of him, very very creepy creep a photo that was he was looking right at the camera for sure. Was like this photo. Watch this. I know you guys had howk say this, but I'm talking to Jason, and I'm saying, Jason, just he's looking literally into your And then I quickly swapped

up and clicked Twitter, and then I turned to Jason. I said like, say like this, No, Ive, Hive is too smart for that. He's not too smart. He's way too smart for that stuff. You know who I am. I need to know who I am. Yeah, So we'll we'll update you guys a bit more on this PLO event. It is. It is tentatively on the Poker Grot streaming schedule. We're hoping to do day three and day four coverage of this one, but it doesn't I mean, we have a day we're adding one because we expected a massive field

side. I got a massive field size. Yeah, I mean it's bigger than both the numbers that we threw out there, and we thought we were going high on the numbers. So good on the PLO good on the w

SP for forgetting numbers. I think we should probably let's say Monday, maybe would you kind of recap like the tournaments and like how they compare it to like last year, like you know, give like an early week like okay, you know the tournaments are off maybe up to ten the first ten events some something like that, so so you know, look forward to that, but finite so maybe not. As far as I can tell, all the tournaments are crushing except the Omaha Hi Low was down a little bit, but

you know, everything else is crushing. I mean so in nine and eighty two or whatever the heck it was for the Omahailo is still a very good number. Not a big not a big deal. Speaking of that fifty dollars Omaha Hi Low tournament, six players left heading to dinner break or it just came back down to four. Actually that's the oh down to four Okay. I was gonna say, that's tournament that might not end, but I guess it might end. Who's who's in James us Chip late nine point two million.

He's ahead of Lewis Brandt, Savan Pen and Adam Natras. Okay Chamis Chan got about thirty percent of the chips in play, so he looking to win his first brace that he had a runner up finished last year too. I kind of want to say josh Aria, but not really sure on that. Currently guarantees sixty nine, one hundred and twenty nine dollars first price two hundred and nine thousand, three hundred and fifty dollars, so that may and

tonight. Technically they have four more levels scheduled, but who knows. They get heads up, maybe add a level or two and get it done tonight, We'll see what happens. Jamie kurse Letter finished in ninth place in that event for just under sixteen thousand dollars, right behind her Miami John Cernudo twelve thousand, five hundred dollars for him. Ben U fifteenth place for him. If you're sweating Benu in fantasy, he did hit the field bonus, so

it got an extra nine points there for him. Eric Baldwin made a deep run nineteenth place for him, and then Upeshka da Silva took twenty five twenty fifth place in that event. Mystery millions running right now on day one B. They are in the Money. Podcast producer Poker Roe podcast producer The great Rich Ryan is over there battling in the money. He ended Marsha Wagner's dreams

in this event like a total buffoon. He took the ace queen up against the pocket queens for Wagner on like the five high flop or whatever it was. He called her all in. She had him absolutely crushed. But rich made the wheel because that's just what he does. Maybe why we were standing behind him watching run like Rich Ryan baby, and he is now in the money over there. Tim mentioned at the top a very big number. I

messed up, Oh you messed up? Yeah, the last year it was what what I When I pulled the number at the time it had merged both one A and one B. I just assumed, oh yeah, five thousand, but hey it's three, doesn't matter. It's still bigger than last year's. Real number is actually thirty two hundred and seventy two players for Day one B from yesterday. The twenty two forty six were at five five one eight. Yeah, twenty nine hundred and fifty seven last year. So basically,

you know, yeah, ten percent, yeah wish growth. Day one A saw about a ten percent growth. Day one B again another ten percent growth. So if that trend does keep up and it does stick. As you know, ten percent growth. Last year got eighteen thousand total entries, a little bit over eighteen thousand, I believe it was, So let's add eighteen hundred to that, and you know we're pushing twenty k, which is absolutely enormous for this tournament. Of course, there is the top bounty prize in

this one, guaranteed at a million dollars. Last year they had enough in the prize pool to do two million dollar bounty prizes. We'll see if they do that again. Last year they also had a first place prize in the tournament of one million dollars. So last year this tournament crowned three millionaires, which is wild. This year, we'll see how it goes, but all signs point to, you know, just crazy growth. Ten percent growth year over year is the way that we are trending right now for the WSP Mystery

Millions event, and you love to see it. It is Friday, so I would expect that tomorrow, being Saturday, is absolutely gangbusters with the size of that field. I could also expect Sunday, well, I mean, tell me what it was last year, and we're gonna guess. So if they're at fifty five hundred right now, they got to get another thirteen thousand, five thousand and forty basketball on what people are gonna watch basketball over playing

the mister millions? What are you insane? Well, I'll say wait before you answer. Will Saturday be bigger than Sunday? Or with Sundays Sunday will be bigger? Okay? I mean that's always, It's always the final starting flight is the biggest. I'll say, I have my number fifty seven hundred, I'm bigger than you. I have sixty five hundred. Okay, yeah, I'm going big. I mean, listen, should we either number would

be great? I'll check last Yes, either number would be yeah, check last year because we can just you know, basically add ten percent at this point? Is that going to do it? For all the stuff at the World Series of Poker And we're switching venues? Is that what we're doing here? Well, maybe we just finished the rest and we go back to the venue. Switch let me find let me find this mystery millions real quick.

Yeah, what's the what was the mystery millions? It's loading, buddy, you got to relax a little, uh well, answer today I know your eyes are troubling you, but do these allergies that I've been dealing with steal winning this last year was fifty one forty seven entrance on one. Okay, so I think you're your favorite. Yeah, I mean I had a pretty much smack dab on, which is crazy, but who knows it could could blow doors, which is a great sign. So so yeah, I'm looking

forward to it. Let's go to you know, our favorite new segment, our favorite news. All right, so this is the what random player did you see today? Segment? Need the music? All right, Let's play the music and then we'll come back back and talk about this. It's time for another segment. Tim came up with that. Donnie will try to ignore it as much as possible. It's what random hooker player did you see today? All right? I've actually got I don't think I saw any random players,

So I mean, I don't have anything. I put one down for you. Well you put one down that somebody texted me about it, but I think that will count. We're gonna pay that. But I didn't see that person, so it doesn't count. Okay, that's fine, I saw to you. Then I'll take Turffy. I was walking through mister Millions here and the grand ballroom of the Horse Shoot. I saw Nanod Metic. I think we discussed the nod maybe six ish episodes ago, right when we're talking

about WSP stories. Didn't expect to see him blastom away and the one came mistery Millions. That was a surprise. I walked the five k p loo. This is going to be a hometown hero. I saw Jared Graham, who was the Kangaroo Crew. The Kangaroo Crew is in full force here at the WSP. Jared Graham is a brace of winner. He was one of the best Australian online and live pokele players high stakes everything for a long time and then I just he just stopped coming the World Series. Din't see him

for like four or five y is. He came up to me, He's like, hey, Tim, how are you doing. So never expect to see see him. I never expect to see in an odd medic. But they're my two random pokele players that I saw today. And maybe you're you want to mention David Baker aka ODB, who's a playing hurt right now or something ir wheeling around on one of those little scooter half things whatever that. Have you ever had one of those when you had your knee? They're they're

so hard, it's so I felt. I did. I did see him eat it today. I did hard hard. He texted me, he said, Pat Peasant sighting Pat Peasant wasn't he Wasn't he a former people for Canada? Maybe Team Online Product. I think it was Team Online Pro from Canada. I haven't seen that name or heard that name in for ever. We've also seen I mean, I know this isn't like random player of the day because I think we already mentioned him. But Victor blom has been out there

battling. Yeah, I feel like we're in the maturation of Victor Blom era. It's all about the eras on the way. I mean, I just feel like I feel like he came out into the scene super young kid was just absolutely max gamble to the fullest at all times, you know, playing as big as humanly possible, going nuts, you know, all the stuff that you saw online. I don't know. I just I don't really have anything to base this off of other than like a vibe, the vibe that

I feel when I stand kind of near him. I'm like, I feel like he's just toned it down and he's just grinding. And from a lot of people that I've talked to over the years, I think a lot of people believe that Victor Blom is just like one of the most naturally gifted poker

players. So combining that with what now might be more of a mature approach to the game, I feel like Victor Blom is gonna start making some noise at the World Series of Poker. Has no bracelets yet, you know, has had deep runs before, you know, I think probably most notably, he took fourteenth place in a twenty twelve fifty thousand dollars Poker Players Championship, So I don't know, I kind of feel like he's gonna start making some

noise. So I wouldn't call it a surprise. If you know, he makes a couple of final tables at this World Series of Poker, he rips off a bracelet, and then that sort of trend continues in the years to come. I don't know something about like kind of coming of age. You know, he went through poker. You know, the swings were all over the damn map all the time. But I don't know, I just get

the sense that he's a bit more settled down. Maybe I'm totally wrong, maybe my read is totally off here, but that's just the vibe that I get from Victor Baum. So yeah, all right, let's go on to these World Poker Tour final tables. Why don't you just talk about it because I don't want to talk about it. If they're not going to live stream it for me to watch, they don't deserve me to talk about it. Look, we need to get an answer and why they went live streaming.

But yes, there was two I really don't understand because didn't they live stream Montreal? Yes, including a little bit of a technical error, but yeah they did. I Look, we work in production. Sometimes we don't have the answers for our stuff that we do. There's probably some answer why they went streaming it. I'm assuming they were recording it for TV episodes. But we'll find out who watches TV these days. Old people, Yeah, like

really old people the clientele that maybe WT you trying to target. I didn't know, I mean maybe, But I mean, can't you do both? Because because the old people aren't gonna watch our lives show? Correct, Yeah, like they're gonna wait and watch the stuff later. Yeah, you know, but the young people aren't gonna watch the stuff later. My only thoughts and I personally like me, I would say that. I mean, I'm not young, I'm in the middle, but I would be younger than you

know, seventy seventy year old person watching it in front of TV. But like, I don't like watching like edited poker shows that much anymore. Sorry, I shouldn't say that. I should say I don't like them watching as much as I like watching like the full live streams. I prefer like the

full stuff. And I know that, like it can be boring to watch like six hours of a final table because there's a lot of stuff that you would just throw on the cutting room floor, right, I mean this goes for everything, This goes for our tournaments, it goes for you know, the trite and stuff. Would I just I like watching it all. I like watching everything play out and getting that full picture and doing that, so

you know, I'm not so interested in like one hour TV episode. Kenneth in four months kennethyre my My thought, my reasoning behind why they didn't stream this is because somebody forgot to press the button. I mean I don't know. Yeah, blame Mickey nothing. Here's my theory. Blame you, Matt Savage. Turn the cameras on Matt. Here's my theory. They delayed these final tables. I didn't like the date they chose because it meant some of

these players couldn't play some WSP events. Whatever. They chose that for a reason. Maybe it was because of Tiger Jam. I'm not going to judge. They knew that they were going up against the WSP, they knew that they were also going up against Hustle Casino Live Million Dollar Game, Million dollar Game streaming. Maybe they didn't know as schedule, they didn't look for it.

Maybe they thought we were streaming from the start. They were thinking, hmmm, does someone want to watch these WPT Final Tables or are they going to watch I could go w s P, or are they gonna watch Million Dollar Hustler scene alive. Maybe they thought might be a bad look if we're streaming and we only get you know, five hundred viewers, one thousand viewers versus five thousand, ten thousand, whatever the other channel's got, and they

made the decision to stream. This is not This can't be the reason. I'm just I'm just throwing it out there. Can't be the reason, can't be the reason. I wish they would have streamed. I would have really liked it. I was, we would have watched. I was. I was under the impression that they would be streamed because I just thought that that's what happened now and yep, but that it gets to be, you know what, twenty four hours before the event and I'm like, wait, they're

not streaming it. I was. I was really looking forward to both of these final tables. I wanted to watch Josh Reichard at his you know, see if he could finally get that first major title. And then the second one, you got Eric Lingren coming back from the dead, and you know, you got Eric Afriott. My auto lay like, I mean, they had some cool people at these at these tables, and then I would you know, I think a lot of people, you know, like me,

would have would have really enjoyed watching them and listen. I know, like, yeah, numbers maybe maybe you if that is true and you don't get as big of a numbers, but I can I can understand like people grinding WSP tournaments and they just have it on their phone or on their tablet. You know, they're just watching while they play. You know, I could certainly see a lot of people doing that. So yeah, but let's flip

the switch. Let's get back positive. Talk about what happened. Josh Reycott wins WPT Seminal Hard Rock Poker Showdown for eight hundred and thirty nine thousand topped an eighteen hundred and sixty nine entrant Field Field Seminole. All yeah, he said in uh in his interview with the WPT team. You know this is like whinning. He is like first major major you know title, so because

he only has twenty seven ys a billion other second rings. But I feel like, you know, this one is really I would say, maybe puts his name out there to the people that may not know who he was, like we know who he is. Well maybe this is probably not so much that, at least for me, more so than it is like people can say, like you know, validates got you got it done under the bright lights? Yeah, okay, like you know, before you were you were

conquering the minor leagues, but you never made it to the majors. Yeah. Now, not only did you get to the majors, you hit a grand you hit the yeah, so so he uh yeah, he took home eight hundred and thirty nine thousand. That was on the first night. Second night we had the conclusion of the WPT Chuck Taw Championship. James Mackie won his second WPT Time dot Com for mgd Com for three hundred and sixty one and six hundred dollars. He topped a six hundred and three entrant field.

You mentioned some of the names at that table, Adam Hendrix, Eric Afriett and e Dog. Was that that final table? But yeah, that wraps up the little luxow swing for WPG swing. Good lord. I was gonna say the summer swing, but like they have a couple you know, they got these alpha eights coming up at the win, a couple of two day event twenty five k's, So I mean you really say this maybe like the star out of the Summer Swing. I might guess if I had thirty five

guesses what they're doing, But that's that. I thought they would have brought back that ten k from last year, which was last year it was a special event, but the one jump make it a make it a w PT WPT event like an official main tour event. This year. I think that could have done numbers. But you know they have the Alpha quarters coming back, the twenty five k's. It's called the WPT Alpha eight trifecta because there's three of them. I mean those are though, No I say quarters because

Alpha a used to be Hunter K buying. Oh no, I like it. That was good. That was rather good. But anyway, I mean those those will do good numbers. I mean they're at the Win. Everyone loves playing at the Win. I haven't done so much checking around the kind of what's been going on around town. I should probably do that over this weekend, just to just to get a feel for aris what's happening. I can give you some updates. I'll tell you this. I saw a winner

photo from Aria the God. That trophy looks good, and I was like, man, this is a good winner photo. This is branding. Oh yeah, like, whoever is in charge of this marketing? They did this right, They did it well. It looks good. They've been working on it. Quiz. They had a little ring light and they got a better ring light than they got a background that was too small than they that's too

big, So they finally hit I think they've got it. They've got a good you know, step and repeat behind it with the Ben MGM logo, the Aripro Classic lego, that trophies look surreal. They're giving out player bags to people that the nice, the nice marone Red felt. Yeah, you're

right. But they had a pretty big PLO event to kick off. I saw Paul Campbell tweet something today that they got like over four hundred entries and whatever was going on today a six hundred or eight hundred dollars buying and it's forty two k up top single day tournament. I mean that's also six hundred PLO. Yeah, you're right, it's one hundred and ten K in the prize bowl, two hundred and sixteen players. First was twenty six K.

That's pretty impressive. And you know what, it ain't even junior yet, still in the final day of May to be exactly. I still, you know, I was talking to some people around the World Series of Poker here at the Horseshom Paris, and I don't know, I still feel like we're still kind of warming up. I don't really know why, because as we've talked about, you know, the numbers are up in a lot of stuff

there are a lot of people here. The tournaments are you know, well underway, we're a few days in now, we've awarded bracelets, you know, all this sort of stuff. But I don't, I don't know. I almost feel like we need to get to one of those days when there's like seven or eight tournaments running, when it's every room is full, every

you don't you know what it is? You know what I think it is is that even though there's been big fields all over here where they're doing it, there's always like one room empty, you know what I mean, Like today it's the Grand Ballroom in the middle, So it's like, you know, you don't, you don't get that. But that had players in it earlier, you know, it had the spillover from the mystery. But you

know, just having something going all night long at every single room. I also think probably need kind of a little bit more crowd action going on. I mean, there was a good one, yeah, but we haven't had like, you know, we had the one yesterday with the Champions Reunion finishing that Ashkiff, No, that was that was a decent rail, but it

was like kind of only for him. So need a little bit more of that, You need like the secondary features playing out with the rails and people cheering and chanting and what like that buzz, you know, like not not necessarily just what's going on in the tournaments, but the outside stuff from the the family, the friends, you know, all that sort of stuff I think is something that will will of course only build over the summer. So I'm looking forward to that picking up. So yeah, I think that's all

we got. You got anything else from me? Hope? We should just mention what's coming up tomorrow? What's that? Well, we've got day one. See if the mister millions and we have our first is it our first? I would say it is our first championship event. The twenty five k Heads Up Championship is the championship event. Pas. Yeah, but like I know, it's a championship event. That's a championship event. It's just championship alright. I only put championship in the title of it's a championship event.

I just think, yeah, it's it's got an asterisk on it. It's cap field, no cap field, it doesn't count. But yes, you tech. All you have to do is register early and you're correct, you correct? Yeah, So a second championship event. It's gonna be ten k Omaha High Low. It's gonna go for seventeen days. Everyblut's gonna get chopped. And is that one's schedules for four days or three days? I believe it's only always schedule from four It's not on a streaming schedule, so I

didn't really care. Yeah, but this one also feels like one where I know it's not on the streaming schedule right now, but we know the type of players that are going to get in this one. There is the chance that you get some pretty big names running deep, right, I mean, maybe you get a final table that includes the GRANDU and Ivy, you know that sort of thing. So you know, maybe that and the powers that be here, you know, make the switch, put this on a stream

and we'll go from there. But that that that's why, you know, I know, we put out the schedule, the quote unquote schedule, the plans. This is, you know, kind of what we're coming into the summer eyeing. But everything changes. Everything is extremely fluid, of course. Yeah. Poker gro dot com slash schedule is where you can find the most up to date streaming schedule. Tim Mann's that and every time there's a decision or that there's a change or whatnot, he's in there changing things. So

I would bookmark that page and you know, check it rather regularly. All Right, that's gonna do it for us. Kind of an earlier ish night here, But I just feel bad for you sitting over here. You kind of an open your eyes. I said, let's pot early, let's get you being a bed, get you some sleep. Hopefully tomorrow. I know what's gonna happen. I'm gonna get home and like my eyes are gonna be fine because I'm not in here. It's just like it must be the air

in here. We haven't I was talking to my wife earlier, and you know what she said, it is probably is that I just need to get used to being in here, which is probably change in our little air purified. We have a run and it's not that. Okay, it's not that I just need to get used to this here. You know, I'm just out of my elements used to working from home for the past couple of months, so I mean, I'm used to that. But yeah, but that's

going to do it for us, hopefully. Producer rich Ryan Bags chips he is in the money. Hopefully he continues that run, so hopefully he is staying at my house, so I'm just gonna not let him in unless he's bags. If you're listening to this, you're not listening to this until noon on Saturday because he was up all not crushing the Mystery millions and hasn't got a chance to edit it. All right, that's that would be the best formula. Yeah, perfect, I love it, all right. That's gonna

do it for us. My name is Donny Peters. His name is Tim Duckworth. We will talk to you guys next time. Base
