dealers, that's all he chose. And then in the world he chose a little bit of He mixed in some no limit hold him but otherwise it was all baduci And um, you know, I touched on it when I actually spoke to him as well, well that's great. I mean you did speak with him after the win, so let's just throw it to that interview right now. Congratulations. Second WSP bracet Here in the fifteen hundred Dealers Choice, I want to ask you about, you know, mixed games of versus high
rollers. You've got, you know, the five Diamonds title, you won the twenty five K last year. What do you prefer mixed games or none of them? Hold of events? Um, good question. I don't know, They're both different. I like playing mix mixed during the World Series like tournaments, you don't get to play that many mixed tournaments, you know, so like that's nice with the World Series, you know, if I had to play all the time, probably I don't know. No limit tournaments are
kind of tough. Like I mean, these are tough too, but like you know, you see the high Rollers scene, it's just a bunch of like really good players. You know. It's it's really hard to make money and like long term against those guys. So I don't know, there's pros and cons of both. Like No Limit I definitely feel not as good relative to the field, but you know, those guys are just like unreal.
We share mutual friend. He's here on the Royal macclock. He texted me, he said, you know, this is the best produci player in the world. I noticed you were choosing buducy a lot, So is there any thought behind that? Do you think do you think you out of the world's best player? I don't know. I mean heads up, probably, but like it's not really that valuable to mean that, just because like I've played a lot during COVID and recently online and I don't know. I don't I
don't think. You know, Usually when I say that, I'm joking and it's kind of jumped into reality. But if I had to bet on it, give me three to one, not bet on it. But outside of that game choice, you know, are you thinking pretty deeply about these about what you're picking, about what other people are picking, especially on like day one and day two. Um, a little bit. I try to identify
just like the other people's worst games. Typically I end up calling Baducia a lot Baducia, nor limit hold him if just because people tend to overfold. Buduci's a game where you kind of have to just make some counterintuitive calls all the way to the end, and people if they don't, then they light some money on fire. So that kind of goes well with tournament dynamics too,
because people are afraid to bust and they don't like calling. So I touched on that you won, you know, the five diamond you won, that big W B SB bracelet and Lasia to you. What drives you? Is it winning bracelets? Is it winning me titles? Or is it you know, the cash? I don't know, Probably just addiction. I don't know. I just got to do what everybody else does and try and get good at it. Um I mean money, I would say, more than the prestige of being like a good poker player. But I mean, you
know, they're both good motivators. I think one final question here, selfishly coming from the PGT side, you know I set up a brilliant mixed game series that you are not in attendance fall. I want to know why you didn't come and are you coming too? The next one? I was gonna come, but the Bahamas just took all the energy out of me. And I'd say, if it runs again, I'll be like sixty five percent to show up something in that he don't make any promises. Well, it's a

Yes, yep, and throwing a couple of WPT titles. He's pretty good at poker. I think he is very good at poker. He was somebody heading into the twenty five K Fantasy draft that Matt Clark and I Matt Clark, my teammate, really wanted to target. Unfortunately we couldn't get him. We were priced out of getting Chat. But he's off to a great start to the twenty twenty three WSP just a few days in, picks up his second w SP gold bracelet, and I'm expecting we're going to see plenty from
quote unquote mister Baducy as he is now known. Yeah, Chad Baducy, that's his name. Chad Baducy, that's his name. I'm guessing with the volume that he's gonna put in, with the ability to play a wide variety of game, I mean, if you're playing the Dealer's Choice, you can play everything. We already know he's good at Noleeman hold him. He's one of brace then he's one WPT titles, etc. So I think Chad's probably gonna be close to the top of the list for the Player of the Year
race as we moved throughout the summer. So you know, don't be surprised to see mister Eastledge show up at a final table or two going forward, maybe even win another bracelet during the twenty twenty three WSOP. All right, moving on to event number six, this was the five thousand dollars Mixed Noeman Hold Him a slash plo aka the five K half and half. Michael Montchek wins it all five hundred and thirty four thousand dollars, his second WSOP goal
bracelets. He pretty much dominated at the end. This was a two day event um, so on day one it was thirty minute levels. On day two it was forty minute levels. So a little bit of a quicker structure, which, honestly, I kind of enjoyed more of these. I think the player and players enjoyed. Yeah, I think you could cram more of these into the schedule, to be honest, Just crank out some more bracelets, why not, right? You spoke with the Texas Mike as he's known
afterwards and he said, uh, he's chasing POI. So we just talked about, you know, Chattive Sledge being in in contention for POI. Michael Montchick said he wants to win POI, so you know that's gonna be a fun little race. Michael Montchick also winning his second BASP goal bracelet he won won last year. He won the fifteen hundred dollar limit hold him. He also had a fourth place finish in the hundred k high roller YEP for I think four hundred and twenty thousand. You know, just kind of stormed on
into the scene out of nowhere. Texas Mike gets known last year, and you talked with him this year after his win, and you guys can hear that now. Congratulations Michael second WSP bracelet. First one was pretty much a year ago. Now, what does it mean to you when you start like hot at the Wealth Series like this, winning a bracelet means a lot and helps for the player that you're chase for sure, which I'm going for all the way now. And yeah, don't even play plo, so it's pretty
lucky. Last year, after you won the fifteen hundred lemen hold him right. So we started seeing you in some events we didn't expect to say, you're in some high rollers. Should we expect the same this? Yet? Absolutely I heard through the rumor mail that you, you know, more of a cash game player in Chicago. What attracts you to playing tournaments? Is it the bracelets? Is it the money? What is it? Limited losses?
You can only find once, So that's a big good Yeah, just big money off top and competitive And yeah, that was Michael montcheck man a few words. I was just gonna say a man a few words, but determined. Nonetheless, you know, I like that he's chasing Poy. I like when anyone is chasing Poy because it means that they're in it for the long haul over the course of the summer, likely going to be playing a
variety of games. I mean, you heard Michael Montick there site the fact that he doesn't really play Ploum didn't think he played bad at the final table. You know, throughout it this this one was live streamed on pookuro Law mccaron and Maria Hoe. We're on the call. A bit of a wonky day, by the way, with all the live streaming that was going on. I mean, it was just you know, it's we're in we're in
mid doubt. Would before the most stressful day we've had so far for me head lace anyway, Yeah, I mean, for sure, we I guess just full transparency. We can talk about a little bit. We had come came into this day. The initial plan was, okay, stream the final table of the Tournament of Champions. Well they came back with thirty one players that the thing didn't look like it was gonna end anytime soon. All last night, all throughout this morning. You know, we're talking throughout throughout the
company trying to make a decision. And then the decision basically was that there was no decision until like one of these It was like a race, Yeah, it was. It was. It was the Tournament of Champions versus the half and half, and whichever one got to the finish line first, that's the one we were going to put up on the stream, and then the other one we were likely going to delay till tomorrow and then put that one
up on the stream. So that's what we're gonna do, okay. So, um, it ends up that the half and half plays a little bit faster. I just mentioned it had a little bit of a faster structure. Um, it also has PLO in there. Those guys are certainly willing to get an in in PLO. Saw a lot of that throughout this tournament. So that gets down, they go on a one hour dinner break, we move them up there. The Tournament of Champion ended up bagging, but it
was a whole thing. And you know, normally our live stream final tables, we try to kick off the action at four o'clock, get the stream going at five. This what eight fifteen, eight eight o'clock, eight fifteen the stream started, So yeah, you know it was it was a day. It was definitely a day. So but you know, things worked out hopefully. You guys out there who tuned in enjoyed the coverage. It was
a lot of fun to watch. This want a lot of fun to watch Michael Montak win his second goal bracet and more than half a million dollars, and then tomorrow we'll get the Tournament of Champions, which they put on pause. There's down to seven wishm Gashan Hope, I'm saying that name correctly, forgive me if I am not. He leads the way two hundred thousand dollars
first place prize. So this tournament was the million dollar free roll that THESP puts on for gold bracelet winners and circuit ring winner from the time that WSP ended last year up until now, so WSP Europe there was some online bracelets and then of course they have a slew of WSP circuit events that go on and all those gold ring winners that get in there. That's a pretty fun
tournament overall, you know. I like one thing that I like from this tournament is that you kind of get to know the people that are winning these
tournaments around the US, around the world. Like that's kind of the fun part for me, you know, because it's one thing I specifically like is I play a bit on WSP dot com here in Nevada, and then I'm like, you know, you play with these guys, you whatever, And then you know, you you look up their real name and you're like, oh, this is so until that I play with online, or this is
oh he won this tournament, you know that sort of thing. So so that's fun to see and know who these people are and like actually see them and be able to put a face to the screen name and that sort of stuff. So I like that part of this. The Final Table, the Final Seven. They're going to return on Saturday, June third, five pm, Vegas time for the live stream on poker Go. Okay, so that is tomorrow or today. I don't know what's going on. It's twelve fifteen
am here in Vegas. Tim and I are in the poker Goo Red Light District. Um, you know, so yeah, I can barely see because my allergies are going absolutely absurd. Tim gave me a blood blister earlier. I mean, it's just well, you shouldn't been trying to mess my own
window. It's the ven number seven, fifteen hundred dollar limit hold on five hundred and twenty seven players in this one, seven hundred thousand dollars A little bit over seven hundred thousand dollars in the price spo one hundred and forty six k for first place. Just over twenty players left, including Scott Esca Nazi recent WPT winner. What was the thunder Valley that he won? Yeah? I think Adam Friedman's out there, Bill Klein saw David ODB Baker out there
in the field. Um. This one also will be on will be is planned to be live streams, so listen, it's gonna be. The plan is to put it on the PokerGO YouTube channel. Okay, if you guys tuned in on Thursday, you know we had a whole bunch of technical issues with the YouTube stream. Remco and I spent probably six hours today with the team trying to sort through those issues to make sure that we are good to

is the twenty five thousand dollars Heads Up Championship down to what sixteen? So sixty four players in this one, captain sixty four. A lot of people get locked out. A lot of people did get locked out. I heard really fun field one of the best matchups early on John Smith vers Phil Ivy the John Smith Invitational. Of course, at this point John Smith needs to win though, like he needs to finally breakthrough, right, But he dispatched
of Ivy and then I think he lost in the second round. Yes, But moving on to day two, sixteen players left, including Anthony Zino, Landon, Tye, Chris Brewer, Doug Polk, Eric Wasterson, Isaac Kempton, Seawan Winter, Kevin rabbit Chow and Chance Corneth. So Kevin rabbit Chow finished fourth last year, Seawan Winter and Chance Corneth already made one. Twenty five gay final table finished in the top three. That was the one that Alexander Velumier one. The other day he won the twenty five K six Max
high Roller. Chance Corneth finished second, Sean Winter finished third. So those two are off to quite an impressive start. Why those guys are right in the mix, Well, they have to cash in this one. So this one comes back tomorrow the final sixteen top eight pay so this is essentially the bubble round. Okay, so these players are playing to get into the money.
What are the payouts in this can you look that up? I know it's five hundred and seven thousand dollars for first place, and I think they're guaranteed seventy five k or so. Yeah, seventy four thousand dollars for eight. Got it through the fifth, fourth is fourth, and third on one ninety two and then first as you said, five h seven and second he is three hundred and thirteen thousand dollars. And I think we'll be streaming this one as long as everything works out. It should work out. We have
already prepared our statement for the players. I doubt they are listening, but the plan currently is the final four will re turn on Sunday and they will play at so two matches tomorrow, take two rounds tomorrow, two rounds rounds tomorrow, and then final four will come back on Sunday. We are going to high card the matches to see who takes first stint on the stream.
They're gonna play three levels, so that's one hour. They were going to rotate with the outer table, bring the other matchup on and do that back and forth until we have winners in both and then the uh, the two winners are going to come back play the final and see who can win the heads up Racelet Oh that's the plan, got it? Um? You guys heard it there? Start out on Friday. That's today, Well that was yesterday as a twenty minutes ago, fifteen hundred seven cards stud pretty good field
out there. We saw birthday boy Greg Mueller out there in the field. We saw our guy gunslinger David back out there in the field. Chino Reem was out there, Daniel mcgrany was out there sitting next to Mike Leah, Mike Liam making his return first first nine main event trip here to the World
Series since twenty eighteen. UM. So yeah, a pretty fun field out there in the fifteen HUNDREDLLAR seven card stud and then we finally saw him who Andy McLeod, Andy McLeod, James and your boy Kirk Morrison and my boy at the same time. Unbelievable, unbelievable stuff. Um day one ce of the Mystery Millions gangbusters, but like just slammed, as they say on the group chat pod. Um So, I got some numbers here. I want. I wanted to talk about this because today I am the stabman today.
But this is kind of like stats slash data. Well, no, so I want to make a thing of this throughout the course of the summer. So like when we might not know something or we need to correct ourselves, we can always do it. On the next show, I cited some of the early numbers in the Mystery Millions. You know, I wasn't exactly right. I was close enough, but you know whatever, Now now I got some some actual data here. Um So, last year the Mystery Millions had
four flights. Okay, but it's important to point out because because I mentioned how the final flight last year only had twenty three twenty thirty four, which was far less than any other flights, which was interesting because usually the last flight is the biggest. Well that's because it was, first of all, it was on a Monday. Second of all, it was a turbo flight. On that Monday, they had two flights. They had the NOMA flight you know, at eleven or twelve or whatever it was, and then seven
pm they had the turbo flight. That's why it was a lot smaller. Okay, also a little little different scheduling. Last year they started with Day one A on a Saturday. Normally these multi flight fields, you start like a Wednesday or Thursday, and then you try and have that final flight on a Saturday, which is what they're doing this year. Okay, but Day one A last year thirty five hundred and seventy three entries. Day one A
this year two thousand and twenty three. So if you're just looking at that in a vacuum, you're probably like, oh, pretty far behind pace. Right. Day one B last year thirty nine hundred and thirty six. Day one B this year twenty nine hundred and fifty seven. Also, if you look at that one in a vacuum, or if you look at the two
day ones together, you're like, oh, they're really behind pace. And you and I have talked about many times how we thought this tournament for sure, just the fact that they moved it up to the front of the summer, they added the million dollars first place prize guarantee in addition to the million dollar top bounty prize, that this one's gonna just smash that record, right,
fourteen thousand, and one hundred and twelve entries last year. But if you're just looking at it initially you're like, oh, maybe they're behind. Well, yes they are behind, but you have to remember that this year, Day one d is not a turbo it's its own, normal, standalone flight and it finishes on a Saturday. So they started this on a Wednesday. They go Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, which are the perfect start flights. And then today is when things really started to turn. So
last year Day one see four thousand, two hundred and sixty nine. This year Day one see five thousand, one hundred and forty seven. So Jesus, they're already at if as long as these numbers are correct. This year they are at one hundred twenty seven entries, meaning tomorrow they only need three thousand, nine hundred and eighty five entries in order to tie the fourteen fourteen thousand one hundred and twelve entries from last year. They've already canceled the deep
stacks for tomorrow. They've said on Twitter that you know, the only thing that's going to be going on other than the ten K Dealer's Choice that starts a little bit later in the day is this day one d of the Mystery Millions. So I don't know, I'm expecting what seven thousand, eight thousand people in this thing. I mean, it's gonna be insane. Eight thousand. If we can hit over eighteen thousand and fifty four players, you know, we're gonna set the fifth biggest field in WSP history. So that's I
think. You know, if we think the fourteen thousand is easy, let's tay you for that. Eight am. Do you remember how I said to you on that media call it they had. Jack Ethel cited the chance of having two million million dollars bounty prizes. They tweeted today that they said they are drawing live for two million dollars bounty prizes. I don't like it,
disagree with it or not, doesn't matter. Okay, that would be pretty epic if they have enough money in the prize pool, enough money in the bounty pool as part of the prize pool to be able to do that. So I don't know, tomorrow is going to be has to be seven thousand entries, right at least I have to try and get in tomorrow. I mean, yeah, you should. You should be registering today. After we get done with this podcast, you should walk over there because I don't know
why. Oh you have Bravo though. You're good. You're good, Um, you're very good. So that's gonna be crazy tomorrow. We had been mentioning the twenty five K six Max that Dan Kelly won back in twenty ten had one hundred and ninety
one entries. There was also one in twenty thirteen. Do you know who won that one? One hundred and seventy five entries? Do you know who won it? Well, I've read his name, c Yes, okay, Steve sung Um. So this was the third time the Alex Vloomier win. This year was the third time that twenty five K Nolan hold Him six Max high Roller was on the Tops schedule. That event needs to be on the schedule every single year as far as I'm concerned. It is amazing, So
