Hello, everyone, Welcome to a new episode of the Poker Go Podcast. My name is Donny Peters. I am flying solo today. My guy Tim Duckworth is probably catching up on some sleep. They had a late go of it last night. Finished Day one of the PGT Million Dollar Championship around two am, give or take here in Las Vegas, so late one for him and the team. But I am here to give you a lay of the land as we head into day two. We head into the final table of this season ending event. Dylan Wiseman is
the chip leader. There are six players remaining. I'll go over who the final six are, what they're guaranteed, you know, how they kind of got here, and then a little bit of a recap on how the day went, and we'll get you out of here. I'm pretty short and sweet here, of course, don't need to keep you too long, and then hopefully everyone listening tunes in to watch the live stream broadcast that will be starting this after noon. This podcast is brought to you by play poker Go.

Dylan Wiseman the chip leader with three million, one hundred and eighty thousand in chips. Believe the blinds are going to be twenty thousand, forty thousand, so Wiseman has just
under eighty big blinds there to work with. At the start of play on Saturday, I think he was the chip leader with on the bubble, i should say, or nearing the bubble, and then he ended up scoring one of the eliminations, which I'm gonna get to this in a second, scoring one of the eliminations to boost his stack a little bit Morellan Wiseman is trailed by Chris Unichan he's the closest on the leader board with one
point nine to five million. Then you have Jim Callipy one point one seven million, Calvin Anderson nine hundred and eighty five thousand, Nick Schulman eight hundred and ninety five thousand, and PGT Player of the Gear Jeremy Osmas did make it into the final six eight hundred and eighty k four. Osmas Wiseman finished the PGT regular season eleventh in points sixteen hundred and thirty two points. He had four wins, eighteen cashes, and six or sorry, one point six two
four million dollars in PGT winnings. So you know, all these all these six players did qualify for this event via the top forty, and then you had Chris unickn uh he finished thirty first, but if you take out the people who didn't qualify via the three cash requirement, he got bumped up to twenty sixth in points, eleven hundred points for unikin one win, five cashes, five million,
two hundred and eighty five thousand dollars in winnings. Jim Collipy After that harsh, harsh, harsh bubble of the top forty last season he got in. This season, he got in very nicely, seventh seventh in points seventeen hundred and fifty seven points. He didn't have any wins, you know, as Tim mentioned on the last episode of the podcast, but he did have twenty cashes for more than two point two million dollars, and Kalopy's first win could be
here in the PGT Million Dollars Championship. Calvin Anderson thirty fourth in points, but again, if you remove the ones who didn't get the cashes in order to be eligible, he gets bumped up to twenty eighth, one thousand and eighty five points, one win, four cashes, one million, eighty five thousand dollars in earnings. Nick Schulman eighth in points
on the season, sixteen hundred and thirty two points. Of course, that point total was bumped up by a victory in the first PGT Last Chance Events that we just wrapped up. Two wins for him nineteen cashes, two million, six hundred and six thousand dollars in winnings, and then Jeremy Osmas, the current PGT Player of the Year, rounds out the top six, first in points for him two million, or sorry, two million. Yeah, that would be a lot of points.
Nine hundred and sixty six points, one win, twenty six cashes, five million, nine hundred and ninety one thousand dollars in money one. Ozmas had a banner year on the PGG absolutely crushed it finished. I think it's more than nine hundred points ahead of everyone else. Closest to him on the leaderboard at the end of the season was none other than Daniel Nigranu with I think twenty fifty four if I remember correctly. So great season for Ozma's overall, and we'll see if he can catch it off with
a PGT million dollar championship victory. Everyone remaining is guaranteed forty thousand dollars up top five hundred thousand dollars. As I mentioned, play wrapped up at a round two am in the morning, and it was an exciting finish, a double Foxen Bubble if you can believe it. I almost didn't believe it when I woke up this morning and I was reading through the updates, so I pulled up the stream and I watched the end of the stream
and yeah, it actually happened. So with eight players left, the field was playing on the two future tables four and four. Kristin Foxen was on the outer table. Alex Foxen was on the main table. Kristen gets involved in a big pot against Nick Schilman raised a couple of ases. He had the acid diamonds. She called from the big blind with Queen jack off. She had the jack of diamonds. It came King Queen eight all diamonds. I think there was a bet and a call from Schulman on the flop.
Four club's turn went check check six of hearts on the river fox And leads for forty thousand, which was one big blind, and Nick decided to kick it up to three hundred and twenty thousand, leaving just a five thousand chip behind. After a little bit of a tank, Foxen flicked in the call. She was shown the bad news because Schulman had the goods. He had those aces. Her hand was into the muck and she was left with fewer than three big blinds. Then they start playing
the next hand, same table. Chris Unican raises with the ace nine off. Kristin Foxen goes all in from the small blind with those It was just I think she had one hundred and fifteen K big one forty K. She goes all from the small blind with Queen four Hearts. Hewniken calls and and as this happens, they slide on over to the other table because Alex Foxen is all in. Okay, he's all in against Dylan Wiseman. Didn't see the full action pre flop, but looking at the screen it said
Wiseman four bet all in. Alex Foxen mentioned that he four bet all in, so this was probably raised from the button from Dylan Wisan with the Ace five off fox and three bet not all in Ace King of Hearts. Wiseman went with it all in and Foxen called it off. There was a five on the turn that ultimately knocked out Alex Foxen in eighth place. It was made known that that hand would run first and they would go back and they would run the Kristen fox In hand.
So then they swing back over they run the Kristen fox Foxen hanch she's all in again with the Queen four Hearts against Unukin's Ace nine Ace ten deuce rainbow with one heart seven of spades leaves her drawing dead on the turn, and both Alex and Christen are out the door before the three Hearts can complete the board on the river. As things pertain to Alex Foxen, I mean,
this was kind of his season. You know, he did, he did qualify via the top forty of the leaderboard, but it just didn't seem like you had the dominating performances that were used to seeing from Alex Foxen, which which is fine. I mean, there's plenty of variants in poker, especially when it comes to live poker, and you just can't hit the the volume that you need to be
able to, you know, realize things. But yeah, i mean fox in here just kind of a brutal end to a rather brutal season by his standards, you know, like, yeah, he did well, you know again, he finished in the top forty. You know, he had a bunch of deep runs, but ultimately, you know, nothing that were really used to seeing overall. You know, he had thirteen cashes on the PGT this season, did not eclipse one million dollars in PGT winnings nine hundred and sixty eight thousand, and didn't
have any wins. You know, we're used to seeing fox And get at least one win, if not two or three, or maybe more wins, you know, get up over fifteen cashes, probably pushed towards what's seventeen eighteen, and then certainly passed the million mark, especially when you factor in all the big WSP events that count. Just how much of a beast Alex Foxon is when it comes to those events. You know, Kristen Foxen had a great season as well.
She won an event, twelve cashes, more than one point four million dollars in PGT winnings, finished twelfth on the leader board, was looking good early in this event, I know her and Alex played quite a bit on the same table, actually got it all in against one another at one point. I think it was her Queen's against Alex's ace king, and she won and doubled up there forgiving if I have those hands backward, but she definitely
won the hand and doubled up through her husband Alex. So, you know, great, great year for Kristen Foxen, and you know, I'm I'm guessing we're gonna see plenty of them. Of course on the twenty twenty five PGT campaign, So first player out was George Castanas in what was it forty fourth place because ultimately forty four of the fifty eligible players showed up for this one. So you know, originally, if if all fifty showed up, fifty players million dollar
free roll, that puts the value at twenty thousand. So with only forty four shown, value gets bumped up a little bit twenty two thousand, seven hundred and change. So you know, good good for the players, good value there. You had Brian Rass busting in thirty second, you had Daniel Legrano busting in twenty six too, who came to play. I mean he he played some interesting hands that you
might not have expected from the granny. Not that they were they were bad or anything, you know, he just I think you're used to seeing him take more of a small ball approach at times, and he he seemed to swing with some timely three bets. He also had some some raises in there that didn't necessarily work out.
So I don't know if that's Daniel's been in the lab for a couple of weeks, hasn't you know, he didn't play the PGT Last Chance series, so has he been kind of working on some things and he came out here and he tested him out, and you know, ultimately did they didn't work, you know, in this spot. But maybe a sign of things to come for him for the twenty twenty five PGT season. But we'll see as it pertains to that sort of stuff. But yeah, he went out twenty six. He had Isaac Hackson busting
in eighteenth place. Joe Sico. So I mentioned Joe Sicico. You guys might not know that name. I mean, absolutely incredible name for a poker player. Could you just imagine Sicko wins PGT million dollars Championship. I mean, come on, this is great. So Joe Siico he was a annual
subscriber Dream Seat winner. So for all of you out there who are annual subscribers to poker Go, all of you out there who are monthier quarterly subscribers who are ever thinking about upgrading, I mean, this is the type of stuff that you can possibly win through the promotions that we do at poker Go. Joe Siico was one of the Dream Seat winners via the annual poker Go subscriber giveaway promotions. Last sweepstakes that we did. I know he ultimately didn't cash in this event, but he did
have the deepest run for a dream Seat winner. He finished in seventeenth place. He was out there battling with some of the absolute best in the world, going toe to toe with them. Fared pretty well again seventeenth from the field of forty four. So shout out to Joe Siico and yeah, for all of you annual subscribers out there, be on the lookout for other promotions for the upcoming season. We generally do a lot of stuff and you guys
can win. Okay, you can't. So they got down to fourteen players after the elimination of Jesse Lonis in fifteenth place. They combined or read drew whatever they did to two tables of seven. Then it was Ben Toleraing busting fourteenth, Scott sever in thirteenth, Stephen Chidwick in twelfth, David Coleman in eleventh, Sean Winter in tenth, and Boris Angeloff in ninth place, and that brought us down to the final eight.
Then I went over what happened with the two Foxen's, the Double Fox and Bubble, which I mean, I still kind of have a hard time believing that that actually happened, But I mean, what are you gonna do? Just absolutely wild stuff that that went out. On the same hand, you know they're playing hand for hand, player around for ront or whatever they were doing at that time. You know, both of them get all in. Obviously, Christy loses that big hands to Nick Shulman right before that. So just
crazy stuff, crazy crazy stuff. Just quickly. On the fantasy teams that that Tim and I drafted, it looks like Tim has Nick Schulman remaining. He had Seth Davies, Ren Lynn. I think he had Alex Foxen. He had one of the Foxes, but they're both out. He had Derek Ymatta and Zach Gresh so they're all gone, so he's only got Nick Shulman left. I had Daniel mcgartny, Brandon Wilson, Channon Shore, Steven Chidwick, and Alan Keating they are out.
I also had Jeremy Osnes and he is in. So Tim and I both draft did one player that is in, and we'll see how that goes today. On Saturday, which is when the final six will be returning to the Poker gro studio down on the Las Vegas Strip, down on the Aria Resort and Casino property, cards will be back in the air at one pm local time here in Vegas. The stream will start on Poker Go at two pm Vegas time, that's five pm on the East coast. It was originally planned, I think that Nick Shulman was
supposed to join Ali Najade in the booth. Day one was Ali Dajad and Jesse Sylvia. So I'm not sure if Jesse is gonna be back, but they're gonna need to find someone to go alongside Alin Najade because Nick Shulman is in the final six. He is at this final table. He will be in the mix battling for
that five hundred thousand dollars first place prize. Again, all the players remaining are guaranteed forty k. Let me just quickly run over these payouts here, So it's forty k for sixth place, sixty k for fifth place, eighty k for fourth place, one hundred and twenty thousand for third, two hundred thousand per second, and then a big jump up to five hundred thousand dollars for first place. You know, five hundred thousand dollars first place. Probably definitely wanted to
have that at half a million. So that big jump is, you know, not not the norm for PGT events, but we do do something a little bit special here in the PGT Million Dollar Championship. All right, that's all I have for you guys today. Hopefully this was pretty short and sweet, just to go over everything that happened for
the PGT Million Dollar Championship. As always, you guys can relive some of the action both on poker go dot com via the day one stream replay, which should be available on demand now, or you can check out PGT dot com, which is the home for the Poker gro Tour.
Just hit that live reporting tab at the top and you can go through all of the updates from Day one and then they'll be populating updates from today's final table as well, albeit should be on delay and matching with the stream, so you won't get any spoilers there. But watch the coverage on poker Go. Guys. Come on, I will be watching. I will be in the chat hanging out and watching these guys battle. It's gonna be a fun one. Five hundred thousand dollars up top, let's go.
All right, that's gonna do it for me. My name is Donnie Peters, and I will talk to you guys next time. Express Express
