Hello, everyone, Welcome back to a new episode of the Poker Go Podcast, the number one poker podcast in the freaking universe. Baby, let's go. I'm ready. Are you ready? Sure? I'll do it. You don't sound too ready. My name is Donny Peters. His name is Tim Duckworth. It's kind of late on Thursday. High Stakes Duel just wrapped up, so we're coming to you with a little late pod. Hopefully the fact

that we're here late helps us avoid the disastrous traffic that is outside. I have no idea who's in charge in Las Vegas or county or whatever of doing what they're doing to the roads here, but that person should seek a new job because it is so eff and bad bad. I mean, first of all, I know the f one stuff is going on, okay, but like if you drive down the highway where it's tropp that overpass, I don't

know what they're doing there, but it's still just a disaster. It's like they knocked down half of the trop overpass, the other half is still standing. There's stuff everywhere. It looks like they've made no progress in like eight months. I mean what, I don't know what they're doing. And meanwhile, I just watched videos online of like you know, Norway and the Netherlands and like all these places like building bridges Sea seventy two hours. I'm like,

well, can we like get this stuff done in America? It's a disaster everywhere. I was wondering today driving in that come like December first, do they have to stop doing more road works for next year? Has gone pretty or is it just this first yet? No, I think they have to. They just have to get all the roads like up to whatever sort

of quality that you need to do an F one road race on. But then we don't have to redoing for next year, right, I mean, you'll probably have to do some sort of maintenance, but the first build is the biggest and then you'll just do the maintenance stuff afterwards. That's my read from the outside. So we have three more months of hell and then we should be good. Yeah, you would think so. I mean on the strip for the next few months, it's a it's a disaster. It's it's

such a disaster. It's just so bad out there, and it's like it's just all over even like by me and Henderson, like they're just doing roadwork. It's just like they just decided to do all the roadwork at once, which seems incredibly silly, but it is what it is, and we just gotta fight through it. Every single day. You get a lot to talk about. Of course, High Stakes Duel wrapping up. We'll get into that.

There will be spoilers on this episode. So if you haven't caught High Stakes Duel and you are waiting to catch it, I would turn this podcast off now because we're gonna talk about who won. We're gonna you know, talk through some of the hands that happened the match, et cetera. So if you are trying to avoid spoilers, you know, go back to living under that rock that you're living under. We got some PGT schedule changes for the twenty twenty three season that we're gonna hit on. The USPO Online is

running a global poker Alan Hstler finally did something. Yeah, and then, uh, you know, bracelet's bracelets and more bracelets because there were some news this week the past couple of days coming out of the World Series of Poker. firstly Eugene Lee and then Damian Gore. Eugene's talking about how he's running bad and at the SINC Hard Rock Daily, he finally receives the Pogo podcast hat, puts the hat on. Where's it to his next twenty He's hitting ace Jack in Ace King, He's crushing. He ends up parlaying that running to a third place finish. So good run there with the Poker Podcast hat for Eugene. Damian Gold fellow Australian. He was at the recent apl millions put

his hat on, made a straight flush in the eight game event. That's pretty hard to do, and then he finished sixth in the no limit hold and PLO Pineapple Mix for just a little bit over twenty seven hundred dollars Australian. So a little bit of run good from the pocogo podcast. Love it, absolutely love it. I need to wear my hat more. I worked a South Point two weeks ago, didn't cash, and then I switched to the Pocogo hat, didn't cash. Then I went hat and my cash.

It doesn't work, doesn't work for us, doesn't work for us, but it works for the listeners out there. All right, let's get into High Stakes Stool four Round two again. There will be spoilers, okay, So if you're trying to avoid the spoilers because you haven't watched the match, turn this podcast off now. So this one was round two of High Stakes Stool four, two hundred thousand dollars match one hundred thousand dollars each. Daniel Lagron

you against Doug Polk. Quick recap coming into this. For High Stakes Duel four, the first round was between Daniel Lagron you and Eric Person. Daniel beat Eric Person. Now they originally we're gonna play two matches. They were gonna play two rounds. They had like previously agreed like, yeah, we'll just do the rematch thing. We'll get out of the way. Whatever, some scheduling stuff happened. Eric Person had to back out, so that left

the door of him for someone else to come in and play. Daniel Legrand you and lo and behold, here comes Doug Polk. So he comes in kind of gets that that feud going again. End they you know, they had the whole online battle thing they battle on high Stakes feud. You know, they had that whole back and fourth thing, more rakers, better, all that sort of stuff. They're much more friendly now between the two of them, and they were back today to play. And then the stakes heading

into the match were for the new rule of high Stakes Tool. If Nigran New wins, then he would have won two consecutive matches, so he would be crowned high Stakes Tool four champion and get the championship belt and be able to cash out that money. But if Doug Polk wins, uh, he advances to round three. Nigran new has the first right to a rematch, and then if Nigrano declines to rematch, then someone else can jump in and

challenge Doug Polk. So that those are the stakes going in. The match lasted what three hours, just about just about three hours overall, pretty I would say, talkative match friendly match's Yeah, it's kind of if you were going to this thinking, oh my gosh, Nigran you Doug Poke, there's gonna be blood here we go. The rivalries on still like no, no, I mean these two like might as well. Like I know, Doug

doesn't live here anymore, he lives in Texas. I mean he I feel like after this match he might have just went over to Daniel's house and had a barbecue or you know, made some you know, vegan sandwiches. Are like whatever they're doing, because I mean they were they were exchanging like pleasantries.

They were you know, asking how each other were getting into, you know, various kind of side stories I didn't like it, and agreeing with each other, and they were talking strategy and well, yeah, because listen the name. You hear the name, and you're like high stakes duel. You're like fight, fight to the death, let's go so I know you

talked with Daniel beforehand. Yeah, so let's play that first. Then we'll get into some of you know, some of the hands that happened, the big hands, there were too many of them, but we'll get into those. But here's first Tim's interview with mister Nigrani. I'm here with Daniel l'gran and you've had about five weeks off from Polka, excluding that little home game. How have you enjoyed the five weeks since the World series? Well? Yeah, after the World Series, like I take a week just laying on

the couch and doing nothing, and then it's prep. You know, it's sort of like I have to repair the damage I did to my body for seven weeks. So back in the gym aring living a very clean life, eating good, you know, relaxing with Amanda. It's been a couple of years since you you know, played Dog specifically heads Up. Do you feel like you had to prepare for him this time or you did enough prep like White before the way you didn't have to worry about it. Yeah, I

did no prep. I looked at the notes that I had, you know, in terms of the live stuff, you know, whatever sort of things that I'm gonna use there and then uh, you know, just no, I really didn't prepare at all. I'm gonna kind of because I'm I already know the approach that I'm gonna take in this event today. It's gonna be very different than I did during the entire series when we played online. I'm not gonna I'm gonna not gonna play at all like he expects. Do you

think as a player, you've improved your heads up game since then? Or do you think because you haven't actually really played that much heads up it's it's probably gonna be the same. Well, I mean, it wouldn't say. The thing is, when you're in the streets every day, like studying, you know you're gonna be at your peak, right, so you're like, really, you know, near the end of the challenge, I felt like

I was probably the best I've ever been. But you know, probably not as good as that now, but still better than I was before I started the challenge, if that makes sense. Your opponent, he had Doug Colk obviously renowned heads up playout, You have that history with him. How do you think he has approached playing you this type? Well, listen, this is the guessing game, right, This is where this is the fun part

of poke with exploitation. I think, like for me, I expect he's going to perceive that I will play similar to the way I did in the later stages of our match heads up, and I won't be so I expect him to, you know, expect some you know, in depth bluffs and things like that. And my plan is to go a different route. And my plan is to play a very boring, passive small ball style, turning

out tension forward post event WS open news coming out recently. You know, we've obviously got the GG events, Bracelet events here, ws be Paradise, Europe, A lot of poker coming up for you. I don't are you ready to put in a big schedule second half of you? I swear I got Auntie. You know, like after the World Series, I watched the trite and stuff and then it makes me like have major fomo and then it

starts making me thinking about playing poker. And now I'm at that point where you know, next week I'm gonna go play the online series in Vancouver, and then from there it's like play every day almost. You know, we got a bunch of series. I have to turn the year around because I'm having a losing year this year, you know, and I've last year I was too, and I won the Super High Roller Bowl. So the plan

is to finish strong. And I feel like I'm gonna do you like with so much poker on like we just touched on, do you feel like there's a little bit of pressure to play everything? Oh? I you still like, you know, at your age and at what you've accomplished, you know, I'm still gonna pick and choose what you want to play. I really don't play everything, right, if you look at it, I play on the PGT you know, I play all the events here locally in Las Vegas,

but I don't travel. I will be traveling for the World Series Booker Bahamas, of course. But if you look at me the last few years, I haven't played a single Triton, you know, So I already do kind of pick and choose just based on convenience, you know. And I live here in Vegas, so I play here in Vegas, so already, like you look at the leaderboards the time money list, like if you don't play any Triton's, you're just gonna go down the list, right, And

that's kind of what's happened with me. All right, good luck today, Thanks Bud. And that was Daniel Lagronni always seems to be feeling good. Yeah, you know, I mean he's had five weeks off. Yeah, you know, he's refreshed out of the five weeks. How many hours are in five weeks? Can you, like, look, do that math for me? Please just do whatever it is? Okay. How many of those eight hundred and forty hours do you think that Daniel Lagronni spent on his couch?

Oh? Good question. I know he sleeps on his catch straying in the World Series along. I believe they like split up, like they separate during the World Series a little bit. I want to say, five hundred, five hundred hours on his couch. Oh my god, he's probably so many hours on his couch. I'm assuming. I know he likes to veg out of the world. He's probably sleep He probably slept a couple when I

watched a lot of movies, a lot of TV shows. You know, I probably did some fantasy hockey draft, you know, prep, I don't know, man, that's wild. All right, so let's let's get into the map. Ask that question. Yeah, we should ask we should have asked, all right, So let's get into the match here. So the first kind of they start with one hundred k chips. There's thirty thirty minute blind levels. The blind started two hundred four hundred. The what is it?

They have a thirty second like a poker action clock that's in play, and then they get sixty second time extensions. I think they get five each to start. So you know, the first big hand comes up. You got Doug Polke on the button is raising it up with the old five four of clubs, one of my favorite hands, by the way. He raised it up to a thousand with five four clubs. Nigran you three bets to four thousand with ace jack offsuit. The flop comes or poll calls and the

flop comes ace seven three with the seven three of clubs. So top pair, good kicker for Dane and Legrand New and Doug polk has a combo draw straight flush draw, however you want to classify it, and Negran New bets four thousand, Polk opts to raise, making it twelve thousand. Mcgrani makes a call turn as the king of spades, negran New checks, Polk goes with twenty one thousand, Nigrani makes the call rivers the deuce of clubs,

so that completes Doug Polk's flush. Nigrani checks Polk is the shorter stack between the two. He goes on for fifty six thousand, six hundred. I think Negran you had right around sixty nine or seventy thousand tanks for a little bit and then ultimately fold, so you know, good fold from Negran new you know, unfortunately he did lose a chunk of chips there. He made a good a pretty funny jug. He was saying, like, what was

it? Maybe like ten minutes into the match. He was like, it would suck if this was it. Like he ended it there, and it's like all this preparation. He's like both him and Daga like kind of talking to like the stage manages, saying that like your day would have losted ten minutes if he called, So yeah, keep you alive, let's keep playing well. If he would have called, he would have still had ships, could have run a bat you all right, So then you know, fast

forward a little bit. There was a big hand where Dan and Legron you flopped the flush. He had the ace Jack of clubs, so he had the clubs. This time he raised to fifteen hundred off about an eighty K stack. Doug Polk had King three off King of Clubs three A diamonds. He three bet two six thousand with one hundred and seventeen hundred and twenty thousand or so in his stack. Nigran you calls him position floff comes ten eight

four all clubs, so Nigran you flopping that nut flush. Polk does have the King of Clubs though, so you know, heads up pot their heads up poker here I should say, you know, King of clubs and probably good enough to continue with. Polk bets two thousand, so pretty small bet here after the hand betting pre the hand before this, they were discussing sea betting, yeah, and they mentioned that, like Dog mentioned like, yeah, twenty percent sea bed is like the thing in right now, and Daniel's

like, yeah, yeah, I keep saying that blah blah blah. Then this next yeah, but basically it's whatever eighteen percent here or something. But he does that thing and they both kind of joke about it when you know, he bet the two thousand and then negron are called yeah, so he bets two K. Negrani calls, turn is the deuces fade, so it's a blank. Polk bets eleven thousand. Now we're picking up that sizing of it. Negrani makes the call, rivers the seven of diamonds. Polk bets

twenty six thousand. He had just under one hundred thousand in his stack left. Negran You, who's sitting on about sixty three thousand, moves all in as you would expect, sitting there with the nuts. Polk snap folds, and negran You takes that pot to basically flop the stacks. He moves up to one hundred and twenty six K. Doug Polk sitting on seventy four K, and then the final hand happens. You know, I don't know how how long later, an hour or so, yeah, yeah, an hour

later. I lose track of time when we're watching this whole thing happen. Polk raises on the button. He's got nine seven suit, he's got nine seven of spades. He makes it twenty five hundred. He's got about sixty seven K to start the hand. Daniel mgran new ace ten of hearts. He calls one hundred and thirty three k for Daniel to start the hand. So Ace ten verse nine seven flop comms king eight six two clubs. Now

neither player has a club. Polk has black cards, but he's got the spades, and nigran news Ace ten does not contain a club, King eight six two club. Polk bets seventeen hundred. Nigranni checks, and Nigrani makes the call. So another small yeah, pretty small sizing here, you know, going the smaller than the free flop sizing was, but you know that can be expected. Turn Ace of hearts, so that nails Daniel Mgranni with

top pair. He checks again. Polk bets eighty four hundred. Nigrani makes the call queen of clubs on the river, so the clubs do come in. Nigrani checks, Polk moves all in. He over beets two about you know what two more than two and a half, two more than two times the pot? Excuse me, I should say the twenty five thousand in the middle. He moved on for a fifty four thousand. Ncranni thought for a bit, made the call, and that was that because Polk was bluffing with

the old nine high. So I mean I kind of expected the match to go this way. I mean, like, I didn't think that these two players were just gonna sit around and wait, I believe it was on Dat Poker podcast with Daniel mcgron and he was talking about this match in the lead up with his co host Terrence Chan and Adam Schwartz, and he's basically said, you know, this is this is probably gonna be how high sakes poker should be played, which is kind of a subtweet, subtle jab at Phil

Hellmuth because he's been he's been the guy playing all the high stakes duell matches, okay, and he just plays a very unorthodox style of heads up poker that not a lot of people would ever play who specialize in heads poker. You know, not that the Granu is a specialist. Doug Polka is a heads up specialist, but Daniel, like he did a lot of studying when he was trying to play Doug Poke and when they were going through that battle.

So he may not be a specialist as much as Doug polk is, but he's very much in tune with, you know, how to play heads up poker these days. So you know, these two were just gonna they were gonna go after it. You know, this one wasn't gonna take six, seven, eight hours. You know, you know, if a cool happened earlier, I mean, so be it. But you know it also probably was gonna end where you know, it wasn't gonna be a cooler as

you see here. It ends with you know, Doug bluffing it off with nine high and then Grannu calling with you know, just one pair and a pretty decent but you know, not the best kicker, but a good one. So yeah, and then uh, I think you spoke with Daniel afterwards. Well good, okay, we'll play that and then we'll get on back here and we'll talk about the high stakes to a four champion, congratulations. Back to back high stakes victories took us about took us through this one.

There was a spot early on where you you know, I had a big decision for you to turn him alive, but I had this mesh goo against Doug. Well it, frankly, it kind of went how I was hoping it would go, because, like I came in with an extreme, extreme exploit that you just can't repeat, where I literally decided I thought he was going to play theoretically sound, which meant I don't have to run any big

bluffs. So I just ran zero bluffs. I like was going in with like, I'm going to value that one if I'm betting turn a river, well not turn but river, and I did and it worked out because and then the other thing that up going into it, I was like, what's going to be important for me is like sort of trying to get a read if I could on when he was bluffing, because I know he's capable of

doing it. So so that was what I focused on, And like I took my time most proud of using my time banks because I always end up with all of them, you know, because I'm afraid of that moment. But I used them wisely, I think, like to try to just really

soak in each each important spot. What's it like playing an opponent like Dog with so much experience and obviously you know some would say a little bit of an edge over you from that last Yeah, there's no question, you know, he's this is his k his game, right, So, like the hard thing about playing against Doug is he isn't one of those people that's afraid to put you in a really tough spot. So you're gonna be in some spots we're like, oh boy, I'm calling now, but what next?

Right? And then he's and and sometimes you're gonna have to, you know, dig deep and make the big calls with like marginal hands like that last hand. I mean, I have an ace. But if he's you know, if he has a bunch of different hands, I'm just done. You know, I'm doubling him up. But against you know him, He's gonna put you in those spots and you can't just be a pushover. Craig me if I'm wrong, But I think the rules have changed when now that you've

won a twin a row you can cash out and done. Yeah, are you done? Well? No? I mean they're like, I win the belt, right yeah, but so I want the belt. I don't want to put the belt up on that on the thing. They can they can come back and get it in round one again. If if if I, if I defend that way me and Donny paid his fellow, you know, put kassas. We have an idea of changing the duel to where the belt

signify buyings. Is a belt for like a ten K buy and a fifty k buyon and a hundred k by Oh, I love that, and then it just continues on you're the challenge of just like boxing what. I love that idea. But I think Doug's also right too with it might be cool to do like the two out of three format yea where you know, he was saying, like you do the two out of three format, but you do it where if you you know, if you bust, you just keep going on that level a kind of things. So I don't know if that

could be kind of cool because we're just doing it how you said. I like the idea because right now it's kind of a weird spot where like if I don't quit now, well then I don't know do I have to win two more or like when can I cash out now? So it's very difficult to win two in a row against very good players, so you feel like you could take the money when you can and then start over. All right, congratulations, thanks, appreciate it. All right, So Daniel wins,

he's got the belt, he's done. Is that better than a bracelet? Hey, I'm not well, it's I mean, I'm just just a trophy. Yes, it's a pretty good time joking because Daniel hasn't won a bracelet in quite some time, but he does now have a high Stakes tool belt.

If you guys remember, way back, Phil han We've swept Antonio Svndar in the first high Stakes Tool. Then he played Daniel in the Groaning, swept him to all three matches, and in all three of those matches, Daniel got out to a lead earlier on and looked like he was gonna win one match. He was like had like a ten to one ship lead or something ridiculous, and Phil Halmy just like stormed all the way back and ended up winning the thing. So that was the grand New's last attempt at high

Stakes Tool. Then he comes into high Stakes Toil four, beats Eric Person first, beats Doug Polk second, takes the belt. So yeah, I guess around the high Stakes Tool five. Yeah, he's you know, as you had in the interview snap cash out and oh yeah, I mean why wouldn't you get I get the vibe that if he had lost, he may not have challenged with everything that's coming up, you know on the schedule Parker Wise that we'll talk about soon. Yeah, I think he challenges, you

think, Yeah, Daniel loves it. Come on. Yeah, but he's about to be pretty damn busy coming up, so he'll find he'll find time. It's high stakes duel takes place, you know, every other week, takes place basically every other year. As far as I'm kaser, well, yeah, I did ask him about having the format, and I think it

needs something. It needs something different, whether it's what Daniel said and they talked the best best of three that we hit it last time, you know how we hinted at at it, and I think you and I agree that, yeah, it probably needs some sort of format change. You know, I think the idea initially was was a good one. I was excited for it, but I'm just not sure that it's played out as we would have

liked. Also, just knowing the work that goes in behind the scenes to try and make this thing happens with a giant pain in the ass, And I don't envy anyone who has to do anything with that. You know, I have to do a little bit with it, but you know, I tend to kind of stay out of the way and just fire off the press releases. But you know, it's it's hard, and then when you get

up to these higher stakes. I mean in theory, it's good, but then you get a thing where it's like, who's gonna play Jason Koon for one point six millions exactly? Like no, like no, you know, it's like it's just never gonna happen. So and also with these new rules, now you have to win two in a row, So it's like, are we ever really gonna get that high again? Because it has to. Yeah, So I like going to like some sort of like UFC or boxing

belt format. I think that's the way to go. We can put some cards together, we can have multiple matches on a card, you can have different you know, weight classes, call them so to speak. Those would have to do with the buy in. So I would I would go down that road. I would. I would try and flesh that out a little bit more and you can make it work. Yeah, but I you know, I like the name, I like the title belts, I like the heads up, I like the table, the style of it all, Like,

you know, I think that that would be pretty fun overall. So yeah, so what happens down with high stakes? So who do you want next? If we don't change the format? I mean, yeah, just Daniel City, He'll come back round one. I think I think I think he should in a way have to come back like he's the champion. Yea, so he should in a way have to defend his title. Now I know, technically he's not defending the title like the way that it's currently structured.

If he shows up and loses, he doesn't lose the belt. He has the high stakes do a four belt forever. Yeah, that's his belt. Now it's high Stakes duel five, so he could win another belt. Yes, you know. So, Phil Hallmuth has high Stakes to a one and high Stakes to all two belts, Jason Kohon has high Stakes Tool three, and then Daniel Lagaranno has high We can unify the three and the four

Coon versus Nigraner unified belts. We just have to have like we need to have like a round robin or something between the three of them to see who's the unified champion. With Nick Right as the sideline host. Bring him back to I thought the Nigrate that was one of my favorite matches because it was someone we had never seen. So yeah, let's do that again. Yeah, so, but who do you want to see? I would like to

see Daniel and man, I'd be happy for Daniel Phil again. I know we've done it three times, but why not Phil could call him out, You're only one two, I won three and then another three. I'm the real champ. Yeah yeah, I mean it's hard because I think and Daniel versus Phil Phil Homes would be would be good. You know, Phil can kind of come back and be like, I'm coming back. I gotta get the title back, like that sort of thing Daniel finally wanted, like you

know, all that sort of stuff. You know, Daniel, Phil could even like be like, you know, Daniel, you finally won. But that's only because I didn't play like, you know, you didn't like that. You can play that whole card now. I'm like, that's how this should that said. I also think it's good to get new faces in there because we've seen a lot of the same faces. We did see newer faces

in this one. We saw Eric Person, we saw Doug Polk, So can we get some newer faces in there, which I think I also plays into, you know, the idea that you and I have of change in the format because we can have different people for different weight classes, like you can have matches that aren't title matches. They're just you know, they're just playing to like move up the leaderboard, to be a contender, like all that sort of stuff. So so yeah, we need to we need to

flush that out more. Put on paper, presented to the big dogs up there, present to the board. That's what we need to do it and make it all right. Moving on PGT season schedule changes. These have been in the works for a little bit of time. It's not it's not easy trying to run a poker tour or poker events, you know, whatever you want to call it. The PGT, but it's tricky, you know, basically trying to bob and weave. We're on the rest of the schedule in

the poker world. So we did have some changes. The most notable ones are the PGT Championship, which previously, if you've heard us talk about it, it was going to be in December. Okay, now we're kicking it to January. We're also moving the PGT Last Chance, which is exactly as it sounds. It's the last chance to get into the PGT Championship, last chance for points in the lead award, all that sort of stuff. That's also going to take place in January January twenty twenty four, so those will

take place early next year. The Last Chance will lead right into the championship. We also have some slightly new dates for the PGT PLO series, you know, moving like a day or two here or there, but no big deal. Overall, it's still gonna be October is going to be filled with PGT mix games leading right into PGTPLO series. We also got Super High rollerbrole Ploye coming at you looking forward to that one. So that is I mean,

has there been a bigger buying PLO tournament in the world. Maybe in some you know, I mean I think we don't think what about Trayton. Has Trayton done? I think the biggest Triton one was definitely not three feet They don't they don't focus. They focus more on Nolan Holdings have two PLO events on that schedule. But I don't think anything this big. Obviously World Series of Poker has a fifty K PLO. I just don't know about one hundred k PLO, which is what the Super High Rollable PLO is going to

be. From where I sit, you might have a different opinion. I don't know what this is going to do in terms of numbers, But you've talked to a lot of the players, and that's why this is on the schedule because the players want it. So my thing is that you guys better show the f up, okay, because if sixteen people show up and there was forty of you, try talent him. He needs to put this on the schedule. You guys all deserve to get punched in the face. Okay,

that's what needs to happen. So yeah, I mean, how do you think it's gonna go? H I mean, it could be huge. It could be sixty players. For all, It's not going to be as huge as we thought where we because we had to move it to the front of the PLO series due to some you know, scheduling issues. But I still think it should get a good turn out. A lot of players obviously want this, you know. I have had some players reach out to me and are now a little skeptical and may not play. But hey, look

we're going to give it a shot. If it gets you know, thirty players, I think that's okay. If it gets forty, that's great. Anything over that I think huge. He's just don't really knowing these events like a first time event. Just like when we ran mixed games on the PLO series earlier in the year, we had no idea what it was going to

get. So we'll see. We'll hope fingers crossed from you know, Outside of Things Arias side of things, and you know, if that gets if that gets forty plus players, the PLO series that starts the next day, it's gonna be massive because we're streaming both of these events too, which is like the first time. You know, people always talk about let's stream paylo, let's stream more. Well, we're giving it to you. Yeah.

The Pokego Studio is currently undergoing some renovations and we're really trying to redo things within there. I mean, the core of it's going to stay the same, but we basically have this like additional like side studio, which is used as like a commentary booth, you know, some pregame interviews, all that sort of stuff. We're basically taking that thing and making it into a final

table room of sorts, so we'll be able to stream our events. Our biggest problem with the mixed games and with PLO was well, how do we stream it in the regular room, Because when you put the streaming set up in there. You have to take out like four tables. Yeah, and we know the numbers from those events from the first time around. We're so good that you you you want to still have that same volume, So like, how do we solve this problem? Well, that's how that's the solution,

is that we took this whole of the room. We are renovating it. It's gonna be ready to go fingers cross and buy the Super High Rollable POLO. That's the deadline. It's gotta get done because we put it in the press release. So now now it's happening. You know, it's either gonna happen from that room or from Tim and I's phones. Okay, like either way. So more streaming hopefully coming from Poker Go starting with that Super

High Rollable PLO leading into the PLO series. So you guys, you know you want more the great game coverage, We're gonna be doing it for you. USPO Online is running right now on Global Poker. If you guys heard the last or really quick episode of me just running through what was, you know, not trying to coordinate with you would have taken longer than the episode that I just threw out there, just to let people know a few events have happened. Again, it is Thursday, it's late on Thursday, so

they're through the first you know, four group of four events. There's there's basically two sides of the leaderboard. There's a gold Coins that's like the play money, free money stuff, Okay. Then there's the sweeps coins. That's where you want to play if you want the quote unquote real money. It's not real money, but you can convert sweeps coins one to one to dollars when you cash out, or you can do various gift cards. You know, you can do a gift card, I think to coin based gift card

to Nike, like all this different stuff. It's all you know, within the Global Poker Platform. The tournaments are going to be running now through September third. That's a Sunday. On Sundays, they have four tournaments. Every day. They have two tournaments from the two sides, so two gold coin tournaments, two sweeps coin tournaments, and on Sunday they have four each. You can there's leaderboards, so you can win a trip to Las Vegas and

five thousand dollars cash if you win the sweeps coin leaderboard. Of course it's obviously hard to win leaderboards, we get it. But you can win a crap ton of money along the way and prizes. So just quickly, there's been prizes of eighty six hundred sweeps coins, fifteen thousand sweeps coins, thirty eight hundred sweeps coins, eight thousand sweeps coins, nine thousand sweeps coins, eleven thousand sweeps coins. So yeah, I mean there's a lot of money

to be won for the sweeps coins. The tournaments every day are thirty three and ninety nine for the buyings, okay, and then when there's on the Sundays when there's four, there's two thirty threes and there's two ninety nine. There is a special offer, special bonus offer that is available now until September third, So if you go on over to global poker dot com and this bonus offer is good if you're both a new player and an existing player.

So if you are an existing player, I was one of them. I've played on Global Poker before, I've took an advantage, taken advantage of this offer, and I got my what is a free SC thirty three USPO tournament entry. So what you do is you buy five hundred thousand gold coins for one hundred dollars. They give you one hundred sweeps coins with that, and then you also get a free SC thirty three USPO tournament entry. And you do that by once you open the get coins tab like the little store on

Global Poker, there's a tab that is for a bonus code. You click on that and then you enter the bonus code USPO twenty twenty three Poker Go. Once you click that, it'll unlock the bonus code in the purchase section, and then you go over the purchase section, you make the purchase and you will get that entry. You can only do this once, okay, so you can't rack up, you know, a whole ton of tournament tickets, but you can do it once. Get a free SC thirty three tournament

ticket. Again. This offer expires September third. But even if you don't take advantage of this offer, or you don't go for the lead awards or anything like that, I would get in there play with us. Tim and I are playing as much as we can't played on there. Oh yeah, you haven't played that, I said, as much as you can, because you haven't been able to yet. I've been firing away haven't really done anything.

Had a fifty seventh place finishing something, but that was it. So yeah, it's not bad, but you know it could have been better. For sure, somebody who did do better. Alan Kessler. Yes, finally something, finally won something. He won World Series of Poker Circuit Event four hundred dollars stud eight slash Omaha eight, also known as OE at Gratton? Is it Graton or Greyton Great Resort in Casino in northern California. By everything that I saw on social media, Grayton is the place to be. It

is. I mean it looked awesome. It looked great. They had big fields, A lot of stuff was happening there. This tournament that Kessler won, the four hundred dollars Studied Omaha eight tournament fifty seven entries. So this one was on the smaller side. But that can be expected, you know when you're playing OE, you know, in a random spot. He wins sixty three hundred and fourteen dollars. He now has four WSP circuit gold rings. His last circuit gold ring was in twenty fourteen. When I looked this

up, I forgot about this. I knew this happened, but I had just forgot about that. He won the WSP Circuit Connecticut main event had a Foxwoods that must have been for a decent amount of coin. Yeah, I think he won like one hundred and fifty one hundred and sixty k or something like that. But I had forgot that that happened. I remember when that happened. It was back in twenty fourteen, and I was like, oh, Kessler did it. He can he can win tournament and he can win

a no limit. Yeah. I remember thinking that at the time. And it's been a while, but he finally gets gold ring number four, So shout out to Alan Kessler for that one, and then staying in the WSP streets. WSP Online has been announced, so we got more gold bracelets coming at you this year. I think it's thirty three on gig Poker, thirty three on WSP dot com in Nevada in New Jersey, and then eight from

Gigpoker dot c A, which is the Ontario Canada ring fenced market. The press release mentioned Pennsylvania and Michigan, so I'm kind of confused because Nevada, New Jersey are not included with Pennsylvania and Michigan. It's Nevada, New Jersey are together, Michigan is separate, Pennsylvania is separate. So I don't know if they're also going to have Michigan and Pennsylvania ones, which they did during the summer and they've done at other times. I didn't I didn't find those

schedules. But at least Gigi Poker for Rest of worldbsitp dot com, if you're in Nevada and New Jersey, they're gonna have thirty three gold bracelets each, and then if you're in Ontario, Canada, you're gonna get eight gold bracelets total. There are a ton of gold bracelets now up for grabs. Do you know the number? I just put it anything, two hundred thirty four will be awarded this year. That's a lot. That's a lot.

That of course includes this online stuff that we're talking about, the stuff that had already happened in Vegas. Then we have ws to be Europe, then we have to be Paradise. Lots and lots and lots of gold bracelets. Dane Legrand, you will not be playing in the Nevada and New Jersey ones because he's going to be heading up to I believe Vancouver is what he said on social media to play the gig Poker stuff. Daniel is of course a Gig Poker ambassador, so he's going to be out there battling in the Gig

Poker online events. Those should be a lot of fun. I think. He also said he's gonna do a lot of streaming of them. So if you're looking for some poker content to watch, I mean, there's really no no, no one better to watch than Daniel Lgrano. He's arguably the biggest player in the game, and he's gonna be streaming his tournaments from Vancouver, playing in the Gig Poker Bracelet events. So yeah, a lot of poker,

man, a lot of poker. We got Poker Masters coming up, there's some there's some online cash games that are going to be happening on Poke Go from Champions Club like next week or something like. It's like five days straight of I think it's like five ten, twenty five, and then the stakes get higher from there throughout the days, so that'll be fun. So

yeah, a lot of stuff going on. We got an Enclave Celebrity Invitational that's a fifty thousand dollars free roll with some of the most popular influencers in the world. To be honest, I mean looking up this roster, I mean they have millions and millions and millions of followers. That's gonna take place on Saturday, August twenty sixth. We're currently running High Stakes Pokers Season eleven, which has been a lot of fun. Yes, I will say it's

been a lot of fun. No gam in the future. Season three is running now as well. We got the Enclave thing that I just mentioned. We got Poker Masters coming up. September fourteenth is when the series starts. September fifteenth is when the live stream starts. Every final table from Poker Masters, there will be ten of them in total, will be live streamed on Poker Go. That's gonna lead directly into Super High Rollable three hundred thousand dollars

buying three days of ternam in action. Defending Champion is in that one. We talked about him in this episode already. Daniel the Grand new he's gonna be trying to run it back and win it again. So we'll see Super Higher Roller will eight. It's been a wiwerful while. Man, it's been around. I was thinking, you know what I thought the other day, Super high roller will ten the you know, the tenth year of it mill. No, it needs to be a five hundred k buying for sure.

It needs to take it back to the first one. They can't be three. It needs to be five hundred k buying. I'm gonna fight. I'm gonna fight for that in the offices. So a lot of stuff happening on Poker Go. Of course, you can find us on YouTube. Remco is doing the thing with all the clips, live streams and whatever we got going on over there, and as always right here on the podcast. Please like and subscribe, Please leave us, Hey, review, you got anything else?

Do you have a family pot? Nah? Paul's coming along again? Nancy? Are you gonna buy a Tesla? That's what I want to really put me on the spot here. Yeah, well you test drove one overnight. I didn't even know they did that. By the way, let's see when you're look you just have to ask nicely and they'll give it to you. I am leaning to a strong yes. Yeah, let's go. I just want to get through this week of finish this uncleave event. Get that

done. Get my buddy that's sitting across from the referral code so I can get a five hundred dollar discount and then go from there. Who do I yet? I don't know. I think, good question. You should check usually something otherwise what's the point of me? I know, I guess something. I maybe get like a month of like free supercharging or something something like that. I don't know. I thought about I look. I did ask them what stock they have. They had one in stock of the vehicle I

wanted post for a week. When you just build it online? Yeah no, He's like, yeah, if you build it, you'll have You'll have one by the end of the week. If that sells, then there's three more coming in a couple of weeks. So it's just a big commitment. Man. They're expensive, but that's not cool. How's your experience? What has it been a week now? I'm I'm I mean, I just need to tell everyone out there that you should buy a Tesla. It's mostly my

wife. I was on the fence about getting one, to be honest, we needed a new car. We had two older cars. Mine my car, I have a one hundred Courts two thousand and eight and that's the newer of the two cars that we had. And then she was driving around two thousand and three started a camera. I mean, they were fine, they were in good conditions, but now that we have two kids, you know,

we just wanted something a little bit more modern, safer. She had always wanted in suv or something a little bit bigger, just to be safer in case she gets in some sort of accident. You know, a bigger car gonna be a little bit more protected than you know, being in a smaller car, that sort of stuff. So she was really pushing to get a Tesla. I was like, well, I know they're they're expensive.

What do I do? You know I can get like another hybrid EV type of thing, like you know, so I don't know, but yeah, but listen, I'm team Tesla and now so I'll stop spamming people with Team Tesla. But if you're gonna buy one and you want to DM me, I'll give you my referral code and we can go from there. But but yeah, all right, that's gonna do it for the Poker Girl podcast a the Tesla Go podcast, and we will talk to you guys later. Face change spread to night chanting spread
