Let's take a look at Absol a pure Dark-type Pokémon first introduced in Generation 3 (Ruby and Sapphire). Known as the "Disaster Pokémon," it is famous for its tragic lore: it has the ability to sense natural disasters and appears to humans to warn them, but it is often misunderstood as the cause of the catastrophe itself.
