Episode description

Jon Dough, Latin American artist from Elizabeth, NJ joins, Curtis Mack to discuss his passion for music. Jon is currently down south to regroup from the harsh surroundings of the urban environment he grew up in. He isn’t going to let the streets get the best of him. Now that he’s started a family and put in some sweat-equity in the studio, he’s ready to get out there and hit the upper east coast once more, but this time with a mission to succeed and spread positivity through music. Mack samples one of Jon’s latest ‘party tracks’ early in the conversation as they catch up and discuss old v.s. new hip-hop and how the game has changed. “Music means everything to me, it’s tatted on my arm” – Jon Dough.
