What is Life? For centuries, the greatest minds in science, philosophy and theology have endeavored to answer that most unanswerable of questions. We’ve grappled with its meaning, questioned its purpose and cursed its inevitable end. While the experience is universal, it’s the ineffable nature of it has baffled us all. A satisfying answer, it seemed, was never to be. But then, in 1999, like a bolt of lightning, an answer came: Life is a prison-set comedy with dramatic overtones starring Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence. Chuck Hayward (Step Sisters, Dear White People) joins Phil and Kenny to discuss this most momentous of discoveries.
