Emmy winning writer/producer Lila Byock (Watchmen, Castle Rock) joins us for a staycation in the painfully unrealized underbelly of THE 'BURBS.

In our second outing with Tom Hanks, we assess the crash course this movie almost sent him on, and how this might be one of his weakest performances. We also talk about the rocky production during the writers strike, compare it to better suburbs based movies, and discuss the many thematic misfires, from the borderline xenophobia, to its hesitance to be as goofy as it needs to be.
