In the early nineteen sixties, he produced several singles including if it Ain't One Thing, It's Another Willing to Die on Philadelphia based Jamie Records. During the latter nineteen seventies, Adams changed style and played soul.
In nineteen eighty one, he had a surprise hit called You Got the Floor, which reached number one in the UK Disco Chart that year and thirty eight in the UK Singles Chart.
