Blues Albert White. Hi, I'm Gail Nobles. Welcome to podcasting Blues. Today's topic is Albert White, a blues guitarist, singer, and songwriter. He has released two albums in his own name, although his musical career started in the late nineteen fifties when he played in Piano Reds then en Symbol, later known as Doctor Field Good and the Interns. Albert White was born in Atlanta, Georgia. His was a musical family, having Piano Read as an
uncle. He began learning to play the guitar from an early age, with Piano Red, noting that by the age of nine, White was playing self made chords on a ukulele. Red then sent White to learn further from his own guitarist, Wesley Jackson. White progress to the stage that he joined Piano Red's band as guitarist in the late nineteen fifties, becoming bandleader of Doctor Field Good and the Interns in early nineteen sixty two. Albert White also had his
own ensembol named The Rockers. By two thousand, White joined the music Maker family, benefiting from financial assistance, new equipment, and help in recording his two thousand and seven album Soul of the Blues. He has sung owns such as hold on to your hinee, a Rose for my Lady, bring it on Home to Me, Soul of a Man Scranded in Saint Louis, and more so. Check out Albert White's album Soul of the Blues.
