Episode description

Based on Luke 15:17–24 ‘Never far away from the Father’s Heart’ is a reflection on one of the most beautiful father-child relationship narratives in the Bible, it tells of the deep intrinsic human relationship that is beyond compression, it is an emotional story of what it means to love someone regardless of their shortcomings and misgivings, above all it is a reflection on what constitutes the agape love. Although story is commonly called the prodigal son, but today, I would like to spin it a little, away from that narrative because the focus and I believe the importance and the lesson of the story rest not on the extravagance of the character but in his action and that of the father. It is my sincere prayer that this podcast blesses you. Shalom!
