Most people have a pre-conceived notion about Apostles as soon as they hear the word. However, have you ever taken a fresh look at the topic with open ears and an open heart to hear what the scriptures say and not just shut down the whole matter, because you think you heard it all? Ephesians 2 tells us that Apostles and prophets are the foundation of the church with Jesus being the cornerstone. Most people think Jesus is the foundation, and he is, but he gave some of that responsibility and delegation to others whom he designated as Apostles. It is thought that they are seen, indirectly in the foundation of New Jerusalem in the book of Revelation: the Revelation of Jesus Christ.
