God has given us the gift of solitude to encounter Him and receive sustenance and strength by His Spirit and the Word, but we are surrounded by many challenges and responsibilities in life that distract us from diligently seeking our time with God. As Christians we must abide in Jesus and fight for the necessary times of solitude to be strengthened in the Lord.
