Christ Is All, and in All

The end goal of a believer's life is to be more like the Savior in how we think, and how we live. But to live out this call is easier said than done while living in the flesh. For this reason, the apostle Paul instructs believers to do away with earthly practices and mentalities in order to become more like Christ in this life. In the letter to the Colossians, Paul instructs us to put to death earthly cravings, put off the old heart conditions and put on the new self which is Christ. Only when we die to self, can we live in Christ.
