Tiffany started her career as an investment banker, and today inspires others to tackle disability representation through ‘TIFFANY & YU, The Podcast’ and ‘Diversability’ an award-winning social enterprise with a mission to amplify disabled voices and elevate representation in her community.
In this episode, we talk about the biggest turning point in Tiffany’s life that made her deal with death and disability at such a young age. Tiffany also shares how her Asian culture and upbringing impacted the way she processed her grief and trauma. We also have a conversation about internalized toxic positivity, the ways we invalidate our own story, and how we can hold on to hope, optimism, and a sense of agency and purpose — even in our pain.
