Leaving The Elevation with a new crew member, Circuit, the Ironsworn make it to The Crux of Hyperion. There, a superficially warm welcome and unusual customs inspection conceals a required period of service in the mines below where the Coalition of Ceaseless Explorers seek 'the great treasure'. Circuit makes a stand that establishes her worth, Relic finds the local Jackal proxy and their significant influence, while Raven has an interesting conversation about time and space.
There's a trip to the surface of the Grave World below, the announcement of an emergency lockdown, and a foetid swamp to cross by hover bike. Then ... a body, bloody tracks, a frightened survivor ... and chittering ...
