The Ironsworn begin their investigation into the mysterious deaths on the Orbaris-5 deepspace station that exists to service the sector's demand for entertainment of all kinds under the eye of a criminal syndicate, the Jackals of the Infernal Pact. Cinderwing does some sleuthing while Raven watches their back, and Relic comes to the same conclusion ... there's only one part of the highly automated station that people never go ... the 'bot operated Reclamation Core ... and the only inhabited deck that abuts that blank space on the station layout is a casino and fighting pit operated by the Jackals. There's a bulky pit boss called 'Jaws', a surreptitious entry to the innards of the machine, and a surprising stream of nutrient packs. Then ... 'when 'bots attack ...' and 'Oh, no! The nutrient chamber is toppling ...', and a Spirit Hunter messes with some emotions. In the background, the Scourgesworn close in on Relic ...
