Papa Mark Kopua is renowned for his expertise in whakairo and moko. He has carved seven wharenui and has significantly contributed to the practice of moko. His talent extends beyond the arts; he is also a gifted storyteller. Through his art and the sharing of pūrakau related to Atua Māori and kōrero tuku iho (ancient wisdom), he imparts valuable lessons and insights through Mahi a Atua alongside his wife Doctor Diana Kopua as well as kōrero pertaining to Matariki.
