17. David Ramirez: Men’s Assistant Coach Queens College NY

David Ramirez is currently the men’s assistant coach at Queens College NY where he is also studying towards bachelors in Physical Education. David played colligate soccer for  Queens College and Nassau Community College as well as club soccer for Oceanside, Long Island United and Hewlett-Lawrence. I first met David when I hired him as a coach for PK Soccer to initially assist me with the Hewlett Lawrence Intramural and travel program. Today we talk about David’s playing career and transition into playing college soccer. We also talk discuss how studying towards a bachelors in Physical Education has helped him improved as a Coach and enhance his understanding of the youth and young adult soccer player.
