Maureen's parents moved to the United States from Italy to pursue the American dream for the entire family. But that did not come without challenges and self doubts. On part 1 of this episode we listen to Maureen as she tells the story of her moving to the U.S, the documentation challenges that she faced, the cultural shock and the tensions between African migrants and African Americans.
